Oslo Panel Heater NTE4T24 (with TImer)

Although I am an engineer (but now 80) I cannot for the life of me follow your instructions to set up the NTE4T heater. Are there additional instructions for slow learners

Hi Graham,

Don't worry you aren't alone. These heaters were more than difficult to set up, especially the optional wireless controllers. The best I can say is YouTube, which I did.

Please I hope this helps somewhat. Manufacturers instructions just don't cut it for any age, so don't think you have that against you.

If you were in Sydney, I'd happily come by and help!

Cheers
Josh

Oslo Panel Heater

I have this Oslo NTE4T heater. The Quick Start Guide shows the icon which usually means a mechanical problem as highlighted constantly but make no mention of it at all. Our last bill was enormously high so I have limited use of the heater which has reduced the bill. I am wondering if there is something wrong with the heater? Would this icon flash or something if the heater was faulty?I am now reluctant to use it at all.
Can you help?

Oslo Panel Heater NTE4T24 (with TImer)

We have just moved into a rental property and this is the only heater for the house. Will it heat the house? Its an old house, don't know if it has any insulation, had 10 foot ceilings, drafts from windows and doors. Thanks in advance.

Hi Dianne,
Perhaps the timer is faulty. Please call our Customer Care team on 1300 556 816 to discuss.

It isnt the same model as my heaters but many Nobo heaters appear to have problems with the timer which to repair has to be by-passed. If you live in Melbourne Aust, there is only one authorised repairer given the simple code to by-pass the timer.
Nobo outrageously know of this fault & yet wont pay for these repairs even when they are in the warranty period. Nobo NoGo

Hi Melo,
The timers in the NTE4T models just lift out and a replacement can be pushed in so by-passing is not required.

I' like to know how energy efficient the 2.4w Oslo NTE42T4 is please

GLEN D.Nobo

Hi Nicole,
If you have a look at your electricity bill it will give you a price per kilowatt hour. Multiply this by 2.4 as per the kilowatts of your heater and it will give you the cost per hour to run. The 2.4 kilowatt heater will heat a room to the maximum of 24m² and that is relative to your floor coverings, window covering, ceiling heights and if you have insulation.

We have the NCU-2t model and was working fine lastnight. Tonight when we switched it on it came up with a large ‘no’ symbol (circle with diagonal line) and we can’t make any adjustments and there is no heat output. Have we done something wrong? Can’t seem to find any info to reset it. It’s only two years old

Hi Lauren,
Please advise the model number of the actual panel heater. There is an identification sticker on the back of the panel with the word "Type" and that is the model number. Do you have your purchase receipt?

Hi, the model number is:
NTE4T 103L - 072EX AUS
Unfortunately I don’t think I still have the receipt

Hi Lauren,
If you remember where you purchased the panel heater the retailer may be able to print a copy of your receipt. Once you have the receipt please contact our Customer Care team on 1300 556 816 so we can process a replacement timer for you via warranty.

Will be writing a review for the two Nobo Oslo heaters soon, but wanted to clarify as the title of the product is incorrect. Can this be fixed as to not confuse consumers? The model is "Oslo" as in Norway, not Elso.
