Norwex Pillow cases

They are great to sleep on but I had an allergic reaction to them. I had a rash on my face/neck as I'm a side sleeper. I wash with Norwex powder.

Best Microfibre cloth ive used

published

I cleaned the car windows with a microfibre cloth from an automotive chain store and was pleased with the result until I got hold of my wifes purple Norwex glass cloth. This beauty gripped the super fine grime and you could feel it being dragged off the surface leaving crystal clear panes. All that is need is a fine mist of water and a rub. Works on 'chrome' plastic too.

Norwex envirocloth

published

I purchased a home starter kit a few years ago, to test out Norwex. The best all-round product is the Envirocloth. I use this for so many jobs, from "squuegy-ing" the shower after washing, wiping up spills, stains on the carpet, yoghurt on lounges etc. It's non-abrasive and chemical free so a great place to start cleaning up any mess. When paired with the Window cloth, it does a great job of cleaning windows. Wet envirocloth first, then dry with window cloth. My cloths are 6 years old and still work great. Norwex itself is MLM, so quite expensive, but great quality and you don't need many products to clean your home chemically free.

Pressure to host parties

published

I went to a friend's party, bought a few things and offered to host my own. Did everything the consultant said to do. Gave out my invites, called friends, mentioned it in passing. No response. Just couldn't get anyone to come. Changed it to online and emailed a big group of friends. Still nothing. So purchased a few things and thought that would be it. Nope, then my original friend called me to say she wasnt getting any gifts anymore. I was really upset. I've been to many parties in Australia for other party plans and NEVER had this happen. Holding the original host to task for the next party is really bad business practice, especially when it wasnt the next host's fault. Very poor customer service. I wont be back!

Overpriced, will not purchase again

published

Purchased washing powder, only lasted a month and 8 times more expensive than my regular one - did not clean the clothes as well either. Ordered pre-stain wash, yet is is in a thick liquid instead of a spray, so you use heaps and I went through it in a month - 7 times more expensive than my regular one. Ordered clothes for kitchen, they lasted a month and then went hard when washed. Very disappointed in the quality, over-priced items that don't live up to their name or promise.

A waste of hard earned money and time

published

My daughter spent hundreds of dollars on these cloths and mops. The mop cloths are severely angled and hard to use apart from them being far larger than the exceptionally narrow mop head. I live with them so I know. All cloths and mop heads spread the dirt and grease around rather than clean. Easier cleaning is gained by steaming firstly and then wiping after with a far cheaper microfibre cloth. But then you have to consider and trial if the boiling steam does not damage the surface with continued steaming of them over time. No soap scum or vertigrease is removed with these cloths - even the bath ring after one bath. I ensured that the cloths were used correctly to no avail. Rubbish all around.

I will never go back!

published

This is an unbiased view, I am a customer only and not a hosting consultant!
If you have granite or stone bench tops or ceramic, porclain or timber flooring, these microfibres cloths and mops are a must. I recently hosted a party and I was a convert immediately. No more hard buffing, copious amounts of dish soap or other cleaning cloths, these work with ease. We have brown granite that always looked streaky no matter what we did. Now it's cold water and a dish cloth & towel and the job is done.
Other notable products which have replaced my usual faves are the clothes detergent (filler free), mould & mildew remover and the oven cleaner.
No more caustic products in my house.

I.Love.Norwex

published

I started with the enviro cloth. Bought it about two and a half years ago and still going strong.not that it would've mattered if not because they have a two year warranty. I progressed to the mop which I love even more and have gradually been building up my supplies. Eco friendly, budget friendly (initially may seem expensive but long term savings are soooooo worth it). Change your life and save the world from the throwaway society while you're at it.

Buyer beaware of Aweful business practice

published

I bought a Norwex mop for 2017, used it three times in the first week I bought it and the plastic clip snapped. When asked for it be exchanged, I was told this is fair wear and tear so the warranty does not cover it. After spending $200 buying a mop, I expected to be good to use for mopping the floor and can handle corners well. Very disappointed with the business and I will take this further with the ACCC.

Can't live without my Norwex! Especially the window cloth, enviro and the cleaning paste

published

I honestly could list the whole range here as must haves! They are just magnificent! The window cloth makes my windows completely spotless and streak free, the cleaning paste cleans EVERYTHING! But most importantly there are no chemicals, and with young kids that's what's most important to me!

Norwex Mop

published

I would dread the big job of mopping our floors but the Norwex mop makes it such and easy and quick task. Simply wet the mop pad, ring it out and start mopping. No chemicals! And it lifts touch marks and residue that my expensive steam mop couldn't. Couldn't recommend it enough.

At a Norwex party demonstration the hostess stated that Norwex cloth destroys 95% of bacteria? is this a proven fact? if so, is this for the life time of the dust and cleaning cloths?

Hi Trish. I was advised to search you tube for the Raw Chicken demo to see proof, when I started out as an independent sales consultant with Norwex over 5 years ago. In addition, the micro silver woven into the microfiber of the clothes is similar to silver found in medical dressings. Your sales consultant can help you with any further questions you have.

The silver only inhibits growth of bacteria in the cloth, not the surfaces being wiped. The raw chicken test is not scientific proof of the antibacterial quality of the cloths. It can only show how well it cleans protein off a surface.
