Excellent product
I received these as a birthday gift. They are fantastic in sound quality and technology. They don't fit my ears very well but do come with a range of different sized plugs and have foam ones as an alternative which are much better but still not a perfect fit. The charging case in a great idea and works awesomely and they last a good Amount of time. Highly recommend but just be aware if you have small ears or a small ear canal you may have issues.

Satisfying purchase
Excellent headsets for the airplane Don't expect audiophile quality sound - I would suggest these to anyone as they are very comfortable and portable and for the price, it is a really good value compared to other triple A companies. If you are considering to buy this product for yourself or a gift it would be perfect as more people are adopting Bluetooth headphones and these are excellent way to start.

Amazing for the hearing impaired
I have peripheral deafness due to a misspent youth. These have helped me overcome the social awkwardness of not being involved in conversation. I find phone calls clear and have had no issues with the other person missing anything I've said. When I play music the sound is comparable to my bose headphones.

Extremely satisfying experience, especially to be able to communicate in noisy places, good sound
I saw this in Indiegogo but did not purchase until recently where I bought 2 buds from Nuheara. Since then I use them everyday at work. It's amazing how much noise cuts out in music mode and how well the voice is amplified in restaurant or home or other modes. Sound is good for music, certainly better than many products I have tried, when I really want to enjoy only music I use my B&W C5 II. I also have B&O H5. They are just as expensive but they only do music and calls where as IQBuds does something more and distinct, voice amplification. Whic...Read more
h is why I love IQBuds. Especially at work I comfortably wear them over 6 hours a day while I am working (mind you need to charge them in between). With one tap I can hear everyone around me and one tap I can cut everyone out. Love that feature especially when I am concentrating. i have two IQBuds and both pairs work perfectly. no issues so far working great. I use IQBuds where I want to hear only what I want to hear. I am glad I bought these, now I can clearly hear and continue my conversations in noisy places like pub or restaurant. I read some people here and elsewhere saying they having issues, some people saying the technology itself is useless and some are simply frustrated for not being able to enjoy their buds as they couldn't configure or figure out how to use. IQbuds are heavily praised and awarded as the best in the market for what it promises to deliver and it is a startup company with high ambitions. May be some use to required, bit of watching of how to videos on Nuheara website might help them I guess. if all didn't work then you should return that faulty pair and get another one. Talk about quality control, I have iPhone 7 plus jet black and I returned twice (one- speaker stopped working, second- screen shade). If it's faulty it's faulty but that doesn't mean the product itself is bad is my belief. I love my phone so as my buds.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Really Bad.
I got my iQbuds 3 weeks ago. Sold them on ebay for $250. I'm an early adopter of tech and frequently trial different things just for fun. The EQ setting are counter intuitive as are the SYNC (noise cancelling) feature settings. And seriously WTH using 'SYNC' a common term in tech for noise cancelling. The concept is great but the application into the user interface and attempted 'dumbing' down of what could be great features seriously lets this product down! I was hopeful. And I gave them two weeks to really test them out. But no. Oh and I sold my shares in ASX: NUH as well.

Off the Richter Scale in Goodness!
I've had my IQbuds for over a week now. Yesterday was my first 'enduro' test for this product.
Started listening to music on Spotify (music mode) whilst stacking our winter firewood. Phone was in my vest top pocket, no drop out at all. My wife came to talk to me, couldn't hear a word of course. One tap on left. Music off. Chatted a while then she left - one tap, music back on. Son came by - one tap on right for 'Home mode' and one tap on left to continue music play and I could hear every word he said with music still playing. What a great funct...Read more

Have been using for 1 week now, impressed, dunno how I lived without them. So versatile, been using at work, jogs, on the train, outings with friends.
The sound quality is great and the ability to mix setups with the app is awesome.
Haven't experienced reception issues, battery life could be larger but expected for bluetooth

Seriously WOW!
Seriously WOW!
Steep initial learning curve to set up the Personal Profile.
Sat in a cafe with a friend and played with the settings. This was more productive than trying to do it in my quiet home.
I love being able to 'boost' the hearing in my left ear. No more turning my head to hear properly.
The noise cancellation is a miracle in ridding of those pesky unwanted sounds.Traffic noise, cafe 'hum', aircon.
Background noises dissapear allowing me to concentrate on the person speaking to me without straining to hear what they are saying.
The sound quality is very good for music.'Sound wall' music is very impressive!
Switching between modes is easy.
Phone calls are simple and sound is excellent, both parties.

Marriage Saver
A friend told me about new wireless headphones that help you to hear while listening to music. I have wired headphones but found them restrictive and a nuisance in my home office/business. I decided to purchase the recommended Nuheara IQ buds. To cut a long story short I have found them marvellous! I have them linked to my iPad and I stream music while I am working. Sound quality above average, no wires to trip over when I get up to answer the business landline. Now I have the freedom to walk around without having to unplug myself! The b...Read more
est thing has been no more complaints from my grumpy husband who always accused me of not "listening" to him. When I have them in "Home" mode I can listen to my music and when he starts talking I can actually hear him! He has a very low deep voice and refuses to speak up-i constantly had to ask him to repeat himself- he found this very annoying. Since I have been utilizing the IQ buds the communication with "Grump" has improved greatly. When I go out I link them to my phone and I can answer calls, listen to music, hear people better! The battery life seems to be quite long and it is really handy to have a case to charge them in. On the negative side-if I have them in home mode even though I can hear "Grump" better I can also hear my clanging in the kitchen a lot better (which does take some getting used to). Keen to try them in "Restaurant" mode when out with friends. Have used them in "Music" mode when I really want to chill out-they block out other sounds just as well as my high quality Shure earphones. All in all I would like to say thank you Nuheara for giving me a product that has enhanced my life both at work and in the home (possibly also saved my marriage!). Recommend them and thought they offered good value for money.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
Hearing what I want, when I want
At first, the $300 price tag looked pricey just for "another pair of earphones". Oh how wrong I was...
These are without a doubt the best earbuds (wired or wireless) that I have ever used. Does exactly what the company claims and more! I wish I could give more than 5 stars for such an exceptional product that has very much changed my life.
I can hear what I want to hear!!!
Just take a look at the reviews; the IQbuds blow all its competitors out of the water!

Very impressed and happy with my purchase of this quality product
The two pairs I've ordered (one pair in January, the other ordered two weeks ago) arrived this week. Setting them up and using the Android app is very easy, and I'm 55. Very impressed so far with the audio quality when listening to music and for using around a busy open plan office, so am looking forward to trying them out further in a more noisy environment such as a pub or bar. They come with 8 different size silicon tips, so once you choose the right size for a snug seal the IQBuds are very comfortable and I don't get the sense they will fall out during normal usage.

To be able to integrate noise reduction and speech boosting to phone calls and music is a game chang
OK I finally received my IQBuds. At first I was a little confused. Here's why: When you get them and pair them, they pair easily with the IQBuds app. That was a snack. Then it tells me I had to pair with the iPhone in settings but when I went there I saw that they were already paired. Now I excitedly go back to the app to not only enjoy the noise reduction capabilities but also the music and phone - but it doesn't work. I went a whole day without these two vital capabilities then decided that I should watch the video again. Notice the very impo...Read more
rtant step of pairing the actual IQBuds with the iPhone. What confused me was that the APP was already paired (why do I care that an app pairs with an iphone?) BUT the actual IQBuds were not paired. It confused me into thinking the IQBuds were paired when they weren't. So I paired them and voila, they worked as advertised. So... Now I've been using them for a few days. On night one I was invited to a Chainsmokers concert - nothing louder on the planet and usually a time for me to be quiet and introspective because I can't hear a word anyone says before, during or after a loud show. To my amazement I was actively talking to people in a noisy bar and no one even asked about the IQBuds (because they look cool). Check that box! The next day I started wearing them in the office and in the car on the way to and from work. I prefer them for phone calls over the car audio because the quality is better, and I can use them in the office to listen to music down low while also having a conversation with co-workers. Check that box in a big way. Today I realized that these babies have actually changed (for the better) the way I manage my environment. The cordless freedom is worth the price, but to be able to integrate noise reduction and speech boosting to phone calls and music is a game changer. I haven't worked out with them yet but my days of dealing with earbuds with long cords that get caught up in my handlebars or my arm when running or hiking are over. This is a "gen one" product and a really good one at that. These will only get smaller and more useful as Nuheara grows and I can't wait to see them progress. Overall this is a sensational product and for a couple hundred bucks is a massive game changer. Great job Nuheara!!Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Game Changer
I wasn't sure it would live up to the hype but boy was i wrong. Fantastic headphones on so my many levels, the ability to control your surroundings is incredible. The App is a bit hard to navigate at the start but you really do need to read the user manual and tutorials online to fully understand what these buds a capable of. Couldn't be happier!!

Rapt In My Iqbuds
I have had my IQbuds for nearly two months now and cannot part with them. It took a bit of training for my ears to get used to the fit but now I can leave them in for hours. I find them simple to operate and have used them for listening to music while walking the dog. It's brilliant for taking a phone call, I just tap the left bud to answer and can happily chat away and not even have to take my phone out of my bumbag. Some people must think I'm crazy as there are no wires from my ears and under my hat, you can't see the buds so they think I'm t...Read more
alking to myself lol. My son is a musician and he too thinks they're great. I have been to the pub on numerous occasions and they work a treat. I now feel my ears are protected from damage but can still talk to the people around me. The only problem is they too need the buds because they can't hear me. I still have to yell at them. They are also really sturdy as I have dropped one twice now and onto hard concrete both times and they are still working perfectly so that's a blessing! If you are at the pub and drinking, don't take them out lol. I'm really happy with my purchase and can only see these IQbuds getting better and better as they produce more.Similar opinion? WOW - the best earbuds in the world. Incredible.
Had these about three weeks now. Wow.
I can turn down the volume of people around me and replace it with whatever I want. Excellent battery life, the quality of the audio is unrivalled (my friend has AirPods and we both agreed IQ Buds are way better - and that's coming from someone who never switches away from Apple), they are really comfy, and they just work. Very well!
Would rate 6/5 if I could.

Impressive on many levels
Music sound is excellent with good clarity and range.
Bluetooth some dropouts in pants pockets, no issues in hand or jacket pocket.
Phone use easy. Can hear in crowded spaces and they can here me clearly when i speak softly.
Siri and I are establishing a relationship.
Sinc seems very versatile. Great in cafes and restaurants, can hear conversations again.
Edit: Thought I would add that the bluetooth seems to have improved and works well from front left hand pants pocket.

Andrew Bestasked
how do I turn the IQBuds to hear the conversation, Andrew
No answers
SteveLasked
Hi,
I hope this is not a silly question - if I don't have my phone with me, or it is out of range, does the sound enhancement still work but I would just not be able to make setting changes? Or do they not work at all in this situation?
Thanks,
Steve
1 answer
Hi Steve, the buds operate in the world off/on mode (sound enhancement) independent of your mobile phone or Bluetooth device. If you have selected the world off/on and environmental settings on the earpiece, that would be the only sound enhancement adjustments possible without having your device at hand.
I've preordered the IQbuds 2 Max and look forward to using its more advanced functionality.

I would try a different cord, some are for charging others for data plus charging. Your usb port on your laptop may be faulty, mine had that issue.
