Hi. Can you use cedar oil on marine ply for kitchen cupboards. Will food spills and a water come off. Thanks
My cleaner has asked how often should she use O Cedar on my wooden furniture? I say fortnightly but she thinks that's too often. Would once a month be sufficient & just wipe over the dust the fortnight in-between?
Do you have a satin or semi gloss finish furniture polish
I have french polished furniture. I use the ORIGINAL formula o cedar polish which is 200 percent better than the new stuff. Wish they still made it. Dont like the new stuff at all. It stinks.
Is the furniture polish suitable for outdoor use
I spilt a drop of cedar on my cream dining chair material. How can I clean it off please
I would suggest 1; Try rubbing it gently with a mildly warm damp cloth and sunlight soap, and/or 2; Mildly warm damp cloth with eucalyptus style wool mix ( laundry detergent)
Thank you so much for your assistance
Is it food safe? I want to use it on my wooden cutting board.
No. It is too smelly and is a furniture polish. Find a FOOD GRADE oil, or use peanut oil or coconut oil.
Here is the link to the official "Hazard" information for this product. It is NOT toxic but but the paraffin oil base and the colouring and the dyes would soon taint the flavour of food. https://s3-...

Yes but make sure you only use a small amount and really buff until all signs and feel of oil has gone. I use it on mine. Sometimes notice bare footprint marks on it.
Ok thank you.
I have not used it on wooden floors mainly because I do not have any wooden floors, but my thoughts are that it would be ideal for wooden floors, and I agree with Eva that the floor should be well buf...
Read morefed with say an old flannelette garment to finish it off.How long does it take to dry on previously polished furniture
This is an interesting question because any oil or wax based polish theoretically never dries out, AND, some users of O'Cedar do report an oily residue which can last for some hours after use. So how...
Read more do I avoid this problem? I simply pour up to about 1 cc, at the most, onto the (flat, top) surface of the item I wish to polish, and then get a piece of flannelette (say 40 x 40 cm at most) fold it and start polishing. You can also try applying a few drops O'Cedar to the polishing cloth if needed. This will enough to polish every bit of wooden furniture in your house including the piano and wooden curtain rails. Used sparingly like this there should be no residue. (Don't use O'Cedar on white goods or white painted furniture.)If you do have any problems with residue simply buff the item with a soft flannelette cloth.
I have been using o’cedar polish for years on my timber furniture, I have now revamped some timber furniture, painting it white. Can I still use the polish on painted timber furniture?
I think O'Cedar would possibly stain your white finish. I would suggest a wax product like "Mr Sheen" would be more suitable.
Where can you buy o cedar revive furniture polish
I get mine at my local Bunnings Store, I understand that it is also available at Woolworths & Big W.

We were using O'Cedar furniture polish on our bed head and the container leaked. How can I get the stain out of my sheet.
Hi Ron, It may be a bit late now but wash that affected sheet separately in a long warm wash cycle, double detergent and if your machine allows it, use 3 x rinse.

Have a tin marked O'Cedar Mop Polish
Which has different languages on it and was wondering when it was produced.
My late husband unearthed the tin around 30 years ago,and it had buttons in it.
Would love to know more about it?

I love this polish and I have recently used it on my bookcase and unfortunately it has changed the colour of the wood. The wood is a lot darker than it was previously. What is the best way to remove the polish from my bookcase?
Please tell me when you will bring back the old All Purpose Polish - (for floors).
