So far brilliant
I've used openpay for two transactions so far and they've been brilliant, had contact the customer service representative once due to volunteer work I had done meant my pay week was out and they were very accommodating at rescheduling the payment for the next week, I wasn't on hold for long and my query was sorted in matter of minutes both transactions explained the payment schedule ahead and the amount to be taken from my card on the said dates so far I can only praise the service I've received. However I will update my review in the future if anything changes.

Pay Smarter? NO, Pay Fees, Experience Inflexibility, Dropped Calls
Don't loose your card. They have no willingness to provide alternative payments. After multiple contacts they still attempt your card every day even both days of the weekend, and Charging you an escalating fee as they go. On my last call trying to negotiate a complete pay out, my call was dropped. Deleting this app, closing account my small purchase is doubled in size!
Recently, I have used the Openpay facility to purchase products from Bunnings. About payment of my purchases, I was wanting to change credit card options. The system was impossible to navigate, even though my cards were registered.
The end result was my account has been locked, shocking service, combined with incompetent technology within the app.
One star rating is to high.
Back to after pay..!!
Easy to use, easy to communicate with customer service
I found it easy to use and very straight forward.... and im not tech savvy so this was a breeze for me! I had an issue where my credit card was fraudulently used overseas so I needed to cancel my card and wait for a new card! I contacted customer service and they offered alternative solutions to avoid getting late fees.... all via email, so I’m pleased to say that good customer service still exists.... please try this for yourself and see how easy this is to use! A+++++++++++++ app and service
Easy process, but had a little drama
I took out openpay to see what it was like, I got home and owed $75, I tried to pay a payment, and it blocked my account, I called up and was told if you try to pay more than 5 days before your next payment is due the system blocks you, and the initial offer was $450, I have paid that, and my amount didn’t increase, even after requesting increase. Afterpay is a lot better
Avoid these loan shark scammers
I've had problems with this system twice now and two times they have refused to take $9.50 charges from my account. I have to transfer money manually for the payment to be made and I never get notification emails about it. They don't give you a chance to pay at all they just extort money.
The current time is there was problems using the buggy app at the register. I was trying to change the saved card used and it kept crashing. Long story short, I deleted one card and due to problems I had to open pay the full amount not part pay.
I tried to...make two early payments due to the mistake and the system blocked me for "fraud", and said it was "being reviewed" which it was not. I can't really tell how paying off my account is considered fraud ! This is what hardware 2FA is all about, preventing logins stolen too. Being a dodgy buggy phone app only system with no webapp console, I was unable to manage anything, and due to getting no warning notification they charged me $9.50 immediately again. They are now refusing to pay me back due to their buggy mistakes and blaming me for not calling them about the system blocking me. This is not my problem the system was so buggy it had a spack for making early payments and blocking me. This is also not my problem the buggy system never actually notified anyone about it and left it blocked. Extorting scammers, avoid this system. Those extra payments I don't need right now in financial stress and fire emergencies. I have been on high watch all month and don't need to micro manage other people's mistakes.

Hi trying to use my openpay account I have a limit of $300 have funds available on my account for first payment but when I go to process thru openpay it tells me my limit is $300, But the item I want to purchase is $299.00 within the $300 limit. Trying to buy online thru mydeals.com.au. can anyone help??
If it does not include free shipping on the product it will be over your limit so you won't be able to purchase.
Thanks Tania for answering my question but doesn't actually help as the item has free shipping included! Any other suggestions?
