Good, but nothing new
My breville centrifugal died after 12 years and I was ready to step it up a little. I did my research extensively before deciding to purchase this machine. The price was right as I didn't want to spend $500+ on an appliance that I may or may not continue to use. The warranty was good, postage was very reasonable and support responded to all my questions quickly. I have been using it for about 3 weeks now and am thoroughly enjoying it. though as it comes out quite pulpy. It's quiet, easy to clean (very important) and easy to put together. Though I am extremely happy with my purchase, from my pre-purchase research the appliance appears to be of the same body shape, parts and colours as about another 5 brands on the market, ie same machine with a different logo stuck on it (the logo on my machine peeled off after 2 weeks), so I don't believe there is any new innovation that can be attributed to this appliance that would make it specific or unique to this brand. I made my purchase in full knowledge of this, and comparatively I would never pay the full price of $599 for it, for that price I would expect something quite unique in all aspects. Best decision I have made in a long time.
I had been thinking about purchasing a juicer for sometime now after hearing of the benefits of juicing from my daughter, and am I glad I did. I had been a smoothie devotee prior to receiving my Optimum juicer but that soon changed. I am still trying different combinations to find my favorites but so far every one has been fantastic. t it is so easy and quiet to use, and a breeze to clean with just a quick rinse and it's done. The videos on the Froothie site have really been helpful too. Just today I was going through reviews for the Optimum 400 and noticed that Froothie had the new user manual and recipe book available for download. Straightaway I emailed them and within minutes I had a reply with the links to both. Now that is what I call service. Nothing is too much trouble for the Froothie team. From the time of purchase to now, they have been wonderful. I am now the envy of my daughter who has been wanting a juicer for a long time now. I kinda have her to thank for convincing me to try juicing, so maybe, just maybe I will be thinking about a second one to send to her for her next birthday. I have only had my Optimum 400 juicer for a couple of days and can already see how much fun I will have with it. Juices are so quick and easy to make, no juice is wasted and clean up is a breeze. Puréed dates with it this morning for baking, I couldn't believe how smooth the consistency was. Shall be trying fruit "ice cream" next. Customer service was great, I received it within 3 days of ordering it!

Fantastic
Love my Optimum 400 juicer. So versatile, just made pineapple ice cream, wow so creamy just like the real thing and so healthy. Have previously made banana and strawberry ice cream as well as my juices. I am yet to make some nut milk, but what a great machine. I bought a Yonana but haven't used it as my Optimum 400 does the same thing.

Love the Optimum 400 juicer! Having used my daughter’s Hurom for over 3 years, I was keen on getting a similar juicer to continue juicing away after she has moved out of home. Really great review, especially to see a comparison to Hurom cos that's the question I most wanted answered. Hope the pulp is at least as dry. As for the blender, hope you go for it cos I have one and they're great: optimum 9400.

WOW am i glad i came across the Optimum 400 Juicer, the whole family use it ...... all the time ........... and we really enjoy the great quality of the juice that it produces. Easy to assemble and use, which makes things really easy for everyone. Well worth it

After extensive research and reading of reviews I choose to buy the Froothie Optimum 400 Juicer.
The machine is very quiet and relatively easy to use after the first few times. The machine colour options are fantastic and I chose the red one. The quality of juice is very good as is the nut milk and fruit “ice-cream”.
Each component has to be placed into the machine in a certain order to work, with the red dot of the juice insert matching black dot of the container. The red dot on the top of the orange juice insert is impossible for me t...Read more
o see due to lack of colour contrast. Even having it pointed out to me, I was unable to see it. Cleaning of the machine involves washing/rinsing of 8 parts with a hard bristled type tooth brush with a tapered end to remove pulp that has been caught in the chute. The level of cleaning is comparable to other juicers. I find it difficult and time consuming. The you tube resources are well done. Although, I found the lack of resources that came with the machine disappointing. It is common place with most food appliances to receive a get started guide and this was my expectation. Thankfully, Froothie emailed a guide of 100 recipes which looks really good.6 comments

YAY - My Optimum 400 Slow Juicer has arrived!
I am very happy with the quality of juice it produces, just the right amount of 'slow' for high nutrient intake yet enough speed to keep me move'n & shak'n in the kitch'n! I love how it can juice soft fruits like Mango, which adds a nice touch of creaminess to my fruit juice. The taste it produces by far outweighs any other juicer I have previously used (juice addict for a few years now!).

Best Juicer Yet!
As a raw foodie, you can imagine that I blend and juice ALOT! The Optimum 400 Juicer is the best juicer I have used yet.
It is easy to put together - just line up the dots!
As a slow juicer it maintains as many nutrients and enzymes possible as there is NO heat, but it still juices quickly and efficiently! It is so so so quiet compared to a centrifugal juicer!
Once you are done, just pull it apart, use the cleaning brush included and rinse it with water - EASY as pie to clean! AND the best bit - the price.
I tried a Hurom 400 previously and this does a better job at half the price! LOVE IT!

Love this Juicer
This juicer is awesome! Finally a juicer that extracts the juice and leaves dry pulp, from soft fruits, leafy greens to hard veges, this juicer doesn't hesitate to produce healthy, cold pressed juice. Leaving all those wonderful nutrients intact :-) Super quiet, easy to clean and put together. The whole family love it. Great price too. Highly recommended A++++

My juicing addiction
As I had been a very good girl Santa brought me this juicer! It has been getting a mighty workout ever since. My husband, toddlers and myself just love it. It juices easily, quickly and quietly! My 4 year old loves to help and has learnt so much about different vegies & nutrition in the process! Priceless!! As my toddlers do help I have had to use the rev button and it was easily unstuck and returned to juicing well. Can't imagine my life without my juicer :) thankyou

Absolutely Fantastic Juicer
I received my Optimum 400 juicer and is absolutely pleased with it. The juice is really tasty and delicious. I juice at least 4 times a day since I received it. I juice the kiwis without removing the skin. I cut away the rind of the orange leaving the white outer skin then cut it into quarters eighths, depending on the size of the orange, without removing the pith. With apples, I remove only the stem and then cut it into quarters or eighths. Without using the tamper, I just pop one by one into the hoper and it continuously juice, and in...Read more
seconds I get a delicious glass of juice. With vegetables I do cut it into smaller pieces as they are stringy and do sometimes clog. With celery I cut lengthwise and then dice it crosswise. I clean it only once a day in the evening. In between veg and fruit juices, I clean it by just flushing a glass or two of water down the hopper and it is ready for the next juicing. Unlike the strainer of a conventional juicer, cleaning the strainer of this slow juicer is alot easier. Assembly the parts are also easy. Made a glass of juice for a friend and she was really impressed. You get some pulp from the juice of an orange, pear, kiwis, apples etc and it makes it even more delicious. Nothing1 comment

Love my Fabulous Juicer
Received my juicer within three days of payment, and was so excited to start using it. Love how easy it is to use and to clean and how the juice separates from the pulp. Fantastic price and service.I have always had an electric juicer the Optimum 400 is no comparision, in looks,, ease of cleaning and seperation. I can't wait to get to experiment with ice cream etc.
Colour (silver), the way it separates into two easy to clean containers.

Optimum 400 Juicer
The Optimum 400 Juice by far the best juicer I have every had. It is super quiet - my kids can't quite believe how quiet it is. No more waking up the whole household. AT last - I can juice without waking up the whole household!
Impressed with this machine. Quiet operation. Easy to clean although you have to accept that such machines will have lots of parts so it fills the draining board! That's ok though - its worth it. Very surprised and pleased to discover it does other things too. Tried the banana icecream - so easy and quick. Would be great for a dinner party (not that I have them0. Just whack I frozen bananas and some cinnamon, give it a stir around and serve. Don't tell them its just bananas! They'll think you slaved over a complicated receipe!

Most important thing for me is to cut up everything in 'fruit salad size' pieces, it all goes through the juicer easily then :)
