I am not new to Oral B tooth brush. I have used less powerful ones though and they are OK.

If you want just to brush may be this is not right for you. Powerful, Long battery life, less noise, various modes of cleaning this is the machine to pamper your mouth.

If I don’t clean my teeth using this toothbrush i feel as though I haven’t cleaned them at all. this toothbrush is amazing. It comes with a travel case that charges and spare heads of different types so you can try them and find the one that fits you best. It charges in minutes and holds charge for a couple of weeks before requiring it again. It has speed settings- and different cleaning options- eg gum care, whitening, etc.

Best toothbrush I have used would recommend it. The Brush cleans excellently both front and back of teeth and gums always used normal brushes but the electric brush is the best.

I love Oral-B electric toothbrushes. I managed to keep my last one for 10 years before the battery started to die. The Genius seems excellent so far. I love the different cleaning settings and the app is a great way to incentivise cleaning your teeth. My favourite way to use the toothbrush is to use the the Pro White toothbrush head (that it comes with) and have it on the Pro Clean setting - my teeth have never felt so clean. I am nearly 29, drink coffee and tea all the time and still have very white teeth. I have never had a filling, and dentists always tell me I clean my teeth very well - all thanks to Oral-B.

My mother in law gifted this to me last month. I was using the normal electric oral b toothbrush before this one and can experience a difference. This one feels "smoother". One charge can last a long time.

My first electric toothbrush after using the traditional one for ages. The clean quality is just insane - couldn't stop running my tongue around the teeth after first couple of cleans, felt like I just received a professional clean from the dentist. Great battery life and short charge time. Several different heads included with a handle, so you can try them all and see which you prefer for future purchases. Travel case comes handy when going on vacation. Didn't get much use out of Bluetooth functionality personally, but might be a good option for geeky people. Overall, would definitely recommend this toothbrush!

I’ve wanted to splurge this year for mother’s day which isn’t far away. I always feel as tho when I’m brushing my teeth they don’t feel 100% clean so I purchased this tooth brush and used it today and whoa I’m blown away the power is simply the best, different settings and you can even download a app!! It’s currently on sale at chemist warehouse for $199! Which I got my local priceline to price match and got my sisterhood points hehe.

Oral-B Genius 9000 is a great electric toothbrush. There is an abundance of settings and different modes. The toothbrush is nice and smooth and makes your smile very good. The price is up there but well worth it.

Amazing my teeth have never been more cleaner since i bought my Oral B Genius Toothbrush. Gives a thorough brush and leaves teeth feeling clean, although the only function I really use is the sensitive/soft brushing one and the pressure sensor. The other options are too hard and feel like they will cause recession of my gums. Oral-B should really include the sensitive/soft brush heads with all their electric brushes as that is what most dental professionals use themselves.

Bought recently after my dentist recommendation! It is absolutely worth it. It is much better than what I expected, a perfect cleaning and also it has their eyes on your cleaning technique and advises you to have the best and the most efficient brushing. Highly recommended.

As a newcomer to the electric toothbrush, this has been amazing. I can really notice the difference between this and a regular toothbrush. It comes with a range of settings to suit your needs, however I only ever use the one setting. It is quite pricy but I think its worth the money.

Fantastic toothbrush! Great colour, and easy to store and clean. We keep it charged all the time, so can't comment on how long it lasts. The toothbrush has kept me brushing effectively every day, gives a fresh feeling. I have downloaded the app, but don't use it often as I don't think it is that useful.

I recently upgraded from the base Vitality $25 Oral B electrical toothbrush and thought might as well go for a higher end model. While it does do a fantastic job of cleaning, I feel that many of the features are simply pointless Gimmicks. Honestly who reads their phone while brushing their teeth? However the whole device does have a very premium feel to it including the travel case. It is worth considering if you have some money to blow on the best of the best.

I was advised by my dentist to move from my manual brush to a power brush (I am over 50yr old). So with some hesitation I ordered the oral b 9000. I have not used the app, and think it looks like a waste of time.
However, the brush does a good job cleaning, and is easy to manouvre right to the back teeth. The ring the lights up red if you are pressing too hard is good for a first time user like me. The charge seems to last a long time, and the 2 options for charging (normal and travel case) are good.
I have had to order replacement heads, so not sure what the ongoing cost will be, but so far so good.
It also requires a lot less toothpaste than I would normally use too.

Not a bad toothbrush unfortunately my timer doesn't work, only shows half a face. As I bought it online not worth sending it back. The toothbrush does let you know when the time is up though. Think it is overpriced.

So i bpught this toothbrush to upgrade from my old vitality that cost $30. Omg can it clean i love how i can use tge different modes. Gum masage that goes up and done in speed. Tge tongue clean that is reduced power. And the pro clean that is at max power. My teeth are ridiculously clean. Ok i ues the app isn't excatly the best but the toothbrush is the best.

Bought the new to Australia, Oral B 9000 as a present to myself. The review by Techpuppy on Amazon.com.uk sums up my feelings perfectly. The APP has to be one of the dumbest things I've experienced in recent months but the power of the toothbrush is far better than my previous outdated oral b. Is it worth the money? I'm not sure. That's for you to decided.

June 14th 2017 Update: Update

Just over half a year on and the power of the toothbrush has diminished considerably. I presumed the new battery would hold the power (between recharges) for longer and with the same oscillating action but this is not the case. The question I raised before about whether it was worth the cost can now be answered. NO.
