Great Clippers

published

These replaced a pair of Babyliss Pro clippers that were next to useless and they do a great job while being both quieter and cooler running than the Babyliss units.

Pros: Reasonably lightweight and feel natural in the hand with good balance. Quiet. Cool running.
Cons: They are corded but that seems to be the sacrifice to get powerful motors.

Purchased in May 2021 for A$382.00.

Oster are rubbish

published

Have had no luck with Oster. Supposed to be the ducks nuts of clippers but have broken time after time with very little work.

Expensive to send back and have fixed, only to break yet again. Lister, Hienegar clippers doing the same job I have had no problems with.

Everyone raves about them - I wonder if I just purchased a dud one.

Purchased in June 2021 for A$628.00.

Best on the market

published

This is my second Oster dog clippers. FIrst was an A5 lasted 10 years, but started to run a bit hot. Bought a Wahl totally useless only 12 months old and it would cut nothing.
Replaced it with an Oster A6, using the same blade I had on the Wahl and it was like putting a hot knife in butter. The clippers just glided through the fur, no track makes, very little noise, and super cool which is really important as a hot clipper stresses a dog. Cant recommend them highly enough, as I said best brand on the market.
