Pretty Disappointed after 18 months
Purchased my Panasonic ESLV9N in July 2018. Very nice to use and close shave. Problem I have is the Head Holder has the mat finish chrome delaminating and it also has a split in the plastic. For the price it should be better than this. Head itself seems to be holding up fine but the Head Holder does not appear to be readily available and the shop where I purchased it from didn't want to know about it for warranty. An expensive exercise at the price and so now I'm in the market for something a little more durable. Poor form Panasonic!
Purchased in July 2021 at Shaver Shop for A$449.00.

Way worth switch from Braun Series 7
What a fabulous shaver. I have used electric shavers for about 25 years now and use one daily. In the past nine years have gone from high-end Phillips (won't buy again) to Braun Series 7 (5 years ago) to this five-blade Panasonic which is the best. I have owned it for a week now and in a geek like way look forward to needing to use it again.
The head on this shaver is far more flexible than the one on the previous model Series 7 Braun able to move sideways as well as up and down making it better for my neck and awkward corners (they call this ...Read more
3D). With the Braun, I ended up using a wet blade in the shower to do my neck because its head and blades were not suitable for this; the Panasonic does not have this problem. I can complete my shaving far faster than the Braun or even with a wet shave non-electric blades. I have only used the Panasonic shaver as a dry shaver it can be used as a wet shaver as well. Another benefit over the Braun is the way cheaper cleaning kit that uses small sachets rather than larger liquid-filled cleaning containers. It is not the most affordable shaver, but it works very well.
Purchased in October 2021 at JB Hi-Fi Retail Stores for A$499.00.

Great electric razor but if you love a very close shave, stick to your gillette or schick
Best electric razor I have ever owned.
Have owned a Braun, this Panasonic takes the crown.
Quiet, comfortable and gentle.
But there are parts of my stubble that demand a once over with my disposable blade.
I have gotten into a routine: Leisurely shave with the Panasonic on weekends i.e. not super fast shave but enjoyable part of my 'winding down' routine.
Gillette or Schick during the week, closer, quicker shaves.
Should you buy this? If you want an alternative to your disposable blades, yes.
If you want an ultra close, or time efficient shave, probably not.
Not cheap. ~$500 will buy you lots of replacement blades.
However, if you enjoy a shave with an electric razor, this is the one to get.

Good Shaver and reasonable value
I bought the ES-LV9N to replace my rotary head shaver. The shaver does look up market and the cleaning station is easy to use and also looks good. Initially the shave was incredibly close but the edge dropped off after a couple of weeks. Saying that it still gave me a better than average shave. The head is rather large but is till surprisingly comfortable to use but can get quite warm while shaving. The cleaning station is does a good job but I'm not convinced it is any better than washing the head under the tap. It does dry the head though wh...Read more
ich is a plus. The cleaning station shaver receptacle does require cleaning every so often as it tends to clog up. If this happens the cleaning liquid does not drain back into the tank Pros : Looks good, Gives a good shave, good battery life and Cleaning Station works well Cons : A bit big and bulky, replacement heads expensiveSimilar opinion? Astonishingly close shave
I have owned three electric shavers, Braun (very good) Phillips (terrible) and this Panasonic which I have now had for 7 weeks. The Phillips was not in the same price range as the Panasonic, but it doesn't come close to the Panasonic for closeness of shave.
In around 3 mins I get a shave that is extremely smooth. The hum of the side to side motion of the cutter is not at all loud, but in line with the incredible speed that it operates at. I tend to lock the head in place, as I find it a bit too wobbly when not locked.
I have a tough beard s...Read more

Excellent Men's Shaver With One Issue!!
I recently sent my Panasonic Men's Shaver ES-LV95 back to where I purchased it after 18 months due to excessive noise. This product was accepted under the 2 year warranty and a brand new Panasonic ES-LV9N was sent to me. I have had this shaver now for 3 weeks. I feel that Panasonic produce market leader products, well built, easy to use, low noise and easy to clean. The one serious question that I would ask about this product is why would you place the start button in the exact same place that my thumb goes? Holding this shaver in a comfortable...Read more
position in my hand means that my right thumb rests on the start button causing the shaver to turn off a number of times during the shaving process. I really can't believe that Panasonic could produce this product without realising this serious issue. This is their LATEST and most EXPENSIVE men's shaver. The Research and Development Department of Panasonic should hang their heads in shame. I do love this shaver but accidentally turning it off at least 4-5 times per shave is to say the least, really annoying and more to the point, unnecessary!! Panasonic don't seem to monitor Product Review like other reputable companies - maybe they don't want relevant feedback, maybe they know this fault and just want it to go away!!Similar opinion? I don't understand how these are 5 blades, there are only 2 rows of blades under the foils. There are 5 foils on the head but the foils do not cut do they? I thought just the blades under the foil does the cutting.
