Disappointed with the new recipe
It is so disappointing that Parkers have changed the pretzel recipe. I used to love them when they were crispy and salty but now they seem undercooked and bland. Rather than original they are more like the lightly baked ones. Unfortunately I am going to have to look for a new brand of Pretzles.
Purchased in November 2021 at Coles for A$2.50.

New recipe is trash
The new recipe is so bad! The pretzels are thick, bland and have literally one salt crystal per pretzel... so its very very bland. I wouldnt recommend buying again until the recipe is changed back. Literally better off eating homebrand pretzels

Longtime fan lost
I thought until l read the other reviews l had bought a bad batch. From time to time you get a batch low on salt. But this new recipe; rubbish

Can't believe the bad taste.
I thought the other reviews were a bit harsh until I ate some a few days ago and couldn't finish the bag, they tasted so tasteless and had a very soft texture. Will not be buying again until parker's go back to their old recipe which tasted great.

Hard pale tasteless. I would not buy again. Leave a bad taste in your mouth, back to the old recipe.

Ruined
What have you guys done?? Totally ruined. Pale, hardly any salt and don't taste right. Sadly after decades of love for your product I will be turning to others for my pretzel fix. If you decide to go back to the original recipe I'll be the first to return.

Absolutely gross
Used to love Parker’s pretzels, bought this week after awhile of not having them as a treat to myself. I am so disappointed they taste awful doughy or something just really unpleasant. Will not buy again especially as they are not cheap compared to other much nicer snack foods.

Pretzels are now yuck
Parker’s Pretzels taste under cooked, bland, not salty enough, just crap. They leave such a bad taste in your mouth, won’t be purchasing again. Why TRY & FIX something that wasn’t broken........

Very disappointed with new recipe
Parker's pretzels recipe has been changed. They are not cooked enough and don't have the nice glaze that they had previously.
The pretzels now come in snack packs inside a bigger bag. This is ludicrous when the world should be trying to reduce excess packaging and waste.
We won't be buying them again.

what happened?
The reviewers are right! These have completely changed! Look, they are not tasteless. They are still a pleasant tasty and salty snack. But what happened to Parkers? How many companies are paying the big dollars to clueless executive who have all the degrees but will ruin their brand because they are so out of touch with the customer! These are ok but they are not Parkers! Now you couldn't get a worst review if you were proud of your brand!

Undercooked, Pale, Awful taste.
These pretzels used to be amazing, but in recent years changes to the recipe have ultimately ruined them.
They are now pale, undercooked, they taste stale and leave a horrible aftertaste in your mouth after every bite.
I understand prior to the change some bags had partly burnt pretzels which I assume was the reason Smiths made the change to the recipe, but now instead of having SOME overcooked pretzels, ALL the pretzels in each bag are undercooked.
Smiths need to revert their recipe or come up with some new changes because right now their current product is laughable compared to other cheap off-brand alternatives.

Used to be good.. no longer
Parkers pretzels were great when i tried them a few years ago. Not anymore. They look and taste pale, anemic and wrong. No one eats pretzels for their health, they eat it for the flavor so why the recipe change? I will definitely be changing brands.

half baked
the lastest packets of pretzels are very very pale, hardly brown at all. They look as if they have not been cooked through.
Will change if not amended.

Burnt pretzels
I am disgusted upon opening a packet of your pretzels to find at least. Quarter of the packet burnt. The price you pay for this product one would expect a better product. I will be looking for another product next time I go shopping. What happened to your quality control.

Excellent
I am unsure if they still make my favourite flavour which was tomoto and basil. They are just devine. I could eat a whole packet if I let myself. I also like the plain ones. I often buy these pretzels instead of potato chips just for something different. They are crunchy and the saltiness just makes them so delicious. They are priced similar to chips. Actually I feel like some right now!
Fantastic option to have instead of potato chips when you are all chipped out. I find if we have them when friends are over they are quite popular so don't last long.
I really love these pretzels so have nothing bad to say about them. I guess they are not the healthiest snack option but really who needs to be healthy all the time?

Good
These are a great pretzel snack. They come in a couple of flavours and I dont mind eating all of these flavours. They arent strong tasting and they are great to munch on while reading a book or watching tv. They are a great alternative to potato chips and I think they are healthier, but its always good to check the nutrition labels on the pack.
I buy these when I want to eat their yummy crunchy salty taste. They are great wheat pretzels and really easy to sit back and eat and relax.
They are a bit salty, and I usually find a lot of loose salt pieces at the bottom of the pack. A healthier option would be great.
