Not get prodect can't refund money back
I order some masks for $113+ from Mach untill now I don't get it but I report to PayPal. They more protected the seller. Seller say already shipping then they not refund my money back then tell me this my experience with shipping if you shipping why I can't get and this time it Covid-19 I'm saty home not go anywhere why don't push doorbell and let us know you send it. PayPal garantee 100%losed money with prodect. Please tell anyone you guy know PayPal it not fair for coustermer. I feel like paypal cheating me

Lost over $320 thanks to paypal
Recieved Customer order (approved) via PayPal. Sent the goods value $299.00. + post fees. Received complaint from customer via PayPal that the customer didn't know about the purchase. PayPal then took the money off us. Charged us transaction fees and let the customer keep our $299 product. Not happy. I'm now looking at other companies instead of PayPal. Terrible.

No buyer protection
Didn’t receive a product I ordered so after months of trying to get my money back I contacted PayPal to look into it and they rejected my claim, after years of using them I won’t be using them anymore, warning you do not have buyer protection as they claim so don’t use them if you don’t have to

Absolute shambles of a company
They have a particular link broken in one of their sign up procedure with business that only affects Australia. After pointing it out to them, they say there's there nothing wrong even though I provided them with reproducible steps showing their Error 500 Http error.
Joke of a company if you have trouble signing up, I can't even imagine the pain if something goes wrong speaking to robotos with scripts that are unable to think for themselves.

Paypal Buyer Protection is a scam.
Bought a software product online with a 15 day free trial no questions asked. The product did not work so I claimed on the free trial but the company refused a number of times with different reasons each time. I made a claim on Paypal's buyer protection but Paypal but it decided in favour of the supplier because "the product was provided"!!
So a faulty product with a free trial that failed on both counts does not qualify for protection so long as the company provides the product!
Paypal will not engage further. The Buyer Protection is a scam.

Nightmare
I am trying to close my account as it has been hacked by someone in USA and they do not help me at all to close!!!
Such a nightmare! I messaged them many times that close my account they keep saying i have an open case even thou the status for that case is closed. All I want for then to close my paayoal as I have been hacked and someone keep doing shopping on my behalf.
So disappointed

Terrible, appalling, never again!!
What an absolute joke, take your money, hold for inexcusable amount of time and can't even contact anyone at all as their help center is closed.
Struggling financially and can't even get a hold of my money that I have worked extremely hard for nor even communicate with anyone regarding my situation.
Again terrible, appalling and will never be using pay Pal again.
Thanks guys for nothing!

Save yourself the trouble
Worst company I’ve dealt with, horrible customer service and they don’t protect any sellers. I sold a item on EBay which the buyer paid via PayPal. The buyer went behind eBay and contacted PayPal for a refund I had a family emergency and didn’t check my emails to see the buyer lodged a refund request via PayPal, PayPal didn’t notify Ebay and refunded the buyer the money. I’m now out of pocket for the item and the money. PayPal should have notified EBay since I used the EBay platform to sell my item. Worst customer service and no protection for sellers.

Not SECURE
An amount of over $400 was taken from my account. I did not see this until after 180 days had expire. Paypal will do nothing. Pay Pal is NOT SECURE.

I would rate them zero if I could
I have raised concerns about transactions and whilst they appear to try to resolve these they have no care and are simply going through the motions with no regard for . They close the case without notice and without considering the facts. There is then no way to contact them to have the decision reviewed - the process is set up so you spend countless hours going around an endless loop trying to work out how to contact them with no way of doing so. Pathetic and unethical.

Absolutely unethical company who closes the disputed cases with no notice. I can't get in touch with them to reopen cases. Would not recommend this company to anyone.Their customer service line is apparently closed and no other means of contact is available. Beware people, do not trust this company.

Case closed unethically
I had a problem with a seller’s product and opened a dispute resolution case through PayPal. It was progressing but I then received an email from them saying that As I had closed the case no further action will be taken. I had not closed the case, I was waiting for a reply from the seller, due by 3rd May, as PayPal advised me in their email. It concerns me that they keep saying that I closed the case. Did they lie or has someone out in the www, or the seller done it.
There appears to be a lack of accountability with this company.

Can’t get in touch about login issues because you need to be logged in to contact them!
I’m locked out of my account because my phone number has changed and I’ve forgotten my password. Email verification is apparently not enough. Yet I can’t contact PayPal or “ask the community” because it asks me to log in first... I can’t!!!! That’s why I need help! How ridiculous.

Paypal and consumer protection? - just another scam
I have been a PayPal user for about a decade. Convenient and some comfort knowing they'll stand by me if a purchase turns sour. Recently made my first claim for a Electronic Language Translator (Enence Muama) which turned out to be rubbish. Seller said he would give full refund when item returned. Followed the process, provided AusPost receipt and Tracking Number. pt. Nothing. Then a letter stating that the case was closed because I hadn't provided the Tracking Number!!! Many attempts to contact by email, internal e-message, phone. A deep and impenetrable silence. No humans there ... just algorithms. A very crooked, unethical, unprofessional organization! I have referred my case the the Department of Consumer Affairs (Fair Trading) and have closed my account. (Just for the sake of veracity ... Corrupt Company
This is by far the most corrupt organisation I have ever dealt with. They spruce about Buyer Protection but despite having a 100% legitimate cases, providing all of the information on time, they are just ignoring my request for the refund. Their tactics are appalling in that they keep sending standard and irrelevant emails clearly to hope you will just get sick of them and go away. Their guarantee is totally USELESS. I will NEVER use these barbaric mongrels ever again

all good until something goes wrong
Whenever I have needed any form of service PayPal has been useless. I used it for business and there was a widespread scam of chargebacks (multiple small amounts coming out of my account) which they never acknowledge or offered to fix, despite it being discussed widely on security/scam websites outside of paypal. I've also wanted to dispute duplicate payments and have had payments randomly stopped for no reason, and every time it has been hell to deal with them and the issue has never been resolved satisfactorily. ans on the other end of their service line, as they don't appear to listen to anything or read submitted documents. For 90% of the time making purchases with paypal is fine, but there is no buyer protection or service when you need it so what is the point? Unethical and ilegal business!
I would say with a lot of confidence that Paypal should not be licensed to operate in australia and the rest of the world. I have ordered products that were fake and have been fighting with paypal to get money back since feb without any success. Criminal organisation! Should have their license taken away from them

The Worst Company During Coronavirus
Crises bring out the best and the worst of people. The best in humanity & solidarity to reach-out & help each other. Unfortunately Paypal goes down the history as the worse in a pandemic.
Our company sells commercial gelato machines which requires customer to directly debit to our bank. One buyer asked whether he could pay with his credit card, we thought to help him out and be flexible. An invoice in Quickbooks is sent which is linked to paypal. The nightmare began.

K, as we could not pay our suppliers, our employees and business costs during this crisis. 1) There is no warm body to call and it is extremely difficult to reach them via chat. 2) A moving target of ever increasing ask of all the documents including business registration, driving licenses of directors (which have been provided when opening accounts) 3) Ask us to send shipping bill, which we have. Then they asked us to provide the customer signed delivery document ( Machines takes a long time to arrive at customer during this lockdown). Then ask us to reach out the buyer to let him confirm to Paypal in an email. 4) When the buyer confirms it to paypal in an email, they say the limitation on account is lifted, but the payment is still held. 5) When we reach out, they said back office is in charge of limitation on account review, and some other "people" will review the payment hold. It took more than 3 weeks with painful back and forth communications, and sleepless nights to get it solved. In the end, we just don't even want to cancel the order - refund the customer, and get our machine back. It is so ironic to see Paypal CEO's message to support during coronavirus when you open your paypal account. And their support email wecare@ PAYPAL NO MORE for us.Similar opinion? They allow fraudulent charges
I can't shout this loud enough.... Do not trust or use pay pal!! They knowingly allow fraudulent sites to make charges and do nothing about it... No refund.... No stopping the site....Nothing!! Many had reported this and yet they still did nothing about it!!

Buyer protection, what protection!!
I was scammed by a company called ORDERPLUS network technology, I was sent an item that was nothing like what I ordered.
I put in a dispute and the only option was to send the product back to China. Was going to cost me more than I paid for the item.
The case wasn't even reviewed, I sent photos etc.
There are 38 pages of other customers that have been scammed by the same company on the Pay Pal community and yet Pay Pal still allow this to happen.
Lost me as a customer Pay Pal, they are as dodgy as the scammers!!!

To all those having issues with PayPal. File a complaint with AFCA. It is time-consuming, but each time I have made a legitimate complaint PayPal lost the case. The more people complain the better our chances are of getting improved service from Paypal. It’s probably too much to hope to get rid of them altogether...

I can't help you because I am closing my PayPal account. I wouldn't use PayPal at all they are not worth it. If I were you I would put your PayPal money into a non PayPal account for example MasterCard you won't regret it

The Australian branches of both eBay and PayPal are a disgrace and are aware they can get away with it because our regulators are toothless. They would never get away with the dodgy service provided here back in US.
