The AIO is a dynamic addition to my kitchen!
Having only recently received my new Philips AIO HD 2237 I decided it was time for a assessment of my new machine. Due to cicumstances I have only had limited time to try it but am delighted so far. The dishes I have cooked so far are my recipes but with times and instructions adapted from accompanying recipe book. Everything has been a success so far with the meat very tender and all the dishes delicious. There are several functions I will rarely use but will be good to have when required. I have now used a number of the functiona with g...Read more
reat reuluts and would reccomend this new AIO to anyone. In summary - saute function is fast and hot on both high and low. Heating period is fast as is reaching pressure. The pressure cooking time also seems faster and NPR is effective. My first impressions are this is an impressive machine that is fast and reliable while also being energy and cost effective and results in tasty dishes for all situations. Looking forward to cooking further dishes in my new kitchen toy. As a single person household I was unsure about upgrading mu AIO deluxe . It has limited use during the summer months and perhaps only once or twice a week the rest of the year. However I now have the new Philips HD 2237 and have found it a much improved machine. Sauteing is hotter while coming to heat faster and then reaching pressure faster. I have now cooked several dishes and am very happy with the results. The fact I can also use my SS bowl in this AIO is a bonus. However I find the measurements in the bowl very hard to read as can be the electronic screen for the preset functions.

BIG THUMBS UP TO THE PHILLIPS HD2237
I love the all new Phillips HD2237 was so excited to have this new addition in my kitchen along side of my Phillips deluxe.
1300 watts power says it all, heats up so much quicker and meals on the table faster, than my previous model, which I love as well, but so different.
I cook a lot of curries/casseroles and roasts on pressure cooker side and use bulk budget meat 2 kilos at a time, the meat is cooked to perfection and just falls apart, I cook curry in one, rice or vegetables in the other now. I love it when it's cooked and it flicks over t...Read more
o keep warm for 12 hours. Great for family's that eat at different times Ceramic pot is so good as it's scratch resistant, the only thing is the inside measurements on bowl are very hard for me to read, also finds the pressure cooker modes hard to read as well but that's only minor. Easy lid to get on and off. Easy simple instructions on how to use it for first timers.

Awesome product! Highly recommend for any household.
Prior to having this Philips All-In-One, I had the previous Philips Viva iteration and I absolutely loved it for many reasons. It gave me more confidence to try new things in the kitchen because everything was simplified pretty much down to the one machine. No need to get multiple pots and pans dirty, and no need to wait for stovetops/ovens/etc. to heat up or to waste energy on this. The 2237 Viva model has only improved on these specs, as it heats up quicker and uses less energy. I have cooked a few things for comparison and without fail have ...Read more
found that the new one heats up much quicker, even when the bowl is fairly full, and produces equally fantastic results. The convenience and ease-of-use are huge pluses for me for a few reasons. First, because I don’t need to spend so much time on meal prep. The size of the pot allows me to cook dinner (for two) with enough left over for almost a full week of lunches. Second, there is no need for me to hover around pots and pans while I’m cooking since the Viva has it all covered. Third – and perhaps most important – as someone with a chronic illness that typically leaves me with very little energy, it is such a relief to have something like this that will do most of the work for me and ultimately produces healthy and substantial meals. I would HIGHLY recommend this product to anyone that struggles with chronic fatigue or chronic pain, because it is so easy to make meals that are just ‘set-and-go’ and, as an added bonus, it creates very few dirty dishes so clean-up is easy. The machine is fairly simple and the interface is very user friendly. I really like having the progress bar to tell me exactly where the machine is up to. The new recipe book also does a very good job of setting things out in a way that is easy to follow and I have found it a lot more informative than the previous recipe book. There are a decent variety of recipes so it is good to familiarise yourself with the different functions, which are all clearly labelled. This makes it easy to go from cooking a full roast one night to baking a cake or making homemade yogurt the next. I will say that it took me a little while to get the hang of things when I started with my previous All-In-One, but it didn’t take long for me to feel comfortable with using it. Overall, I highly recommend this product for its convenience, ease-of-use, and versatility. The fact that the machine heats up quicker, has a more comprehensive booklet, and uses less energy are huge advantages over the previous model. 10 out of 10.1 comment

Life changer!
The Philips All in One viva has changed my life!! I’ve had a slow cooker for many years, but hardly used it, so I wasn’t sure how much I’d use the Viva, but thought to give it a go because i liked that it sears the meat first all in one pot, and has many other cooking options too. The verdict - I use at least 3 times a week!
It means we get delicious meals, (like curries and stews that are now cooked in less than half an hour, instead of 5 hours in the oven) on busy work nights, with perfectly tender meat, and rich sauce.
I just absolutely lo...Read more

Excellent machine, well worth having in the kitchen!
I have had the previous Viva for at least 4 years, and it is still a solid performer, so I was most excited to hear about the new Viva’s arrival. I now have the new Viva 2237 in my kitchen, and it hasn’t left the bench since arriving. I seriously couldn’t be happier with the enhancements Philips have made for this edition.

althy meal on the table in less time than it would take me to go and get takeaway. I really love the fact that the new Viva heats up quickly, and believe that the ceramic pot and 1300 watt power is the reason for this. This reduces the time it takes to sauté meat, or bring the machine to pressure, all a bonus when it is late at night and everyone is tired and hungry (or hangry!). The Viva 2237 is a solid performer, all my meals taste amazing with the added benefit of reduced cooking times when pressure cooking, oh and how can I forget? The reduced washing up when compared to conventional methods of cooking! I feel that this machine is an easy one to use. The digital panel has clearly marked buttons for each of the functions, as well as a manual option if you prefer to convert your own recipes. There is also a beautiful cookbook included in the box.1 comment

I love this machine, so simple to use.
After owning the first Viva which surpassed all my expectations, the new Viva has gone even further, I didn’t think the original could be Improved upon, but Philips has gone beyond my expectations.
I love the new ceramic pot, which means I rarely get out my stainless steel pot which I’d bought for the original. I can cook meats with bones in it or use my metal trivet without the worry of scratching the pot, although it is not quite as non stick as the original Teflon pot.
The new Viva also heats up a lot quicker with the power being 1300w co...Read more
mpared to 1000w on the original, which in turn saves me time while it heats up. Also the the reheat function has gone from 25mins in the original to 10 mins in the new Viva. One of the biggest improvements is the keep warm function, it now keeps warm for 12 hours as apposed to 60mins on the original Viva. I’m particularly happy with how the food comes out, in the slow cook mode you can set it before work and come home to a delicious meal ready to serve, and likewise on pressure cook mode just throw in all the ingredients set and in no time at all your meal is ready. I love the baking mode too, I’ve made plenty of cakes and they always come out moist and tasty. One tip, when making a cake, put some baking paper on the bottom of the inner pot. The yoghurt mode is great, and so simple to make without all the mixing and straining like you do with lot of homemade yogurts.1 comment

Impressive All in One Cooker that delivers everything!
I just received the new Philips All in One cooker model HD2237 and was very interested to see how this one compares to all the other different Pressure Cookers that I have owned and used throughout my life - from the stove top vented model through to the modern AIO of another brand. I was very interested in the fact that this AIO came with a much higher cooking wattage and with other features that I had not used previously like the baking and yoghurt making functions.
I liked the way the pressure cooker was boxed with initial instruction on t...Read more
he first lid flap as you opened it and the fact that they had used recycled cardboard in their packing material which could again be recycled so I thought this was a good move to help the environment. The Instructions, warranty and Recipe book were all visible and sitting on the top when I opened the box. The Recipe Book included was a lovely big glossy book of 147 pages which was visually appealing with clearly outlined recipes that were easy to follow with accompanying photographs of the cooked recipe. I would have liked to have seen more simple typical everyday budget Australian dishes in the Recipe Book. Putting the lid on the AIO the first time was a bit confusing as there were no obvious markings to align the lid which I was used to when using another brand AIO, but after I worked it out I am now a little more familiar with how to successfully align the lid to the base.1 comment
