Very good steriliser. Have used other brands with last 3 babies & the plastic was not the quality of this one or as fast. They are a little expensive but in saying that I think they are worth it. Major department stores are always having baby sales so that's the time to snap one up. Happy with ours & recommend to other parents looking for a reliable value for money product to purchase one of these.
Quick & easy to use. Very high quality plastic. Usually comes with a bonus bottle/ dummy etc.
Little expensive

This steriliser is very easy to use and has clips that really secure the lid in place, unlike other brands I have used. This model of steriliser also doesn't require steriliser tablets which other models do. I was given this steriliser by my caring mother-in-law, who bought it for me after the birth of my son. I was planning on sterilising bottles via boiling water on the stove and I am so lucky that she bought this for me. I have never looked back. The only concern is that Dr Brown's tall bottles (240ml) don't fit upright.
Easy to use, plastic doesn't warp.
Can't fit all bottles.

A must have for bottle feeding. Really great design, so simple yet efficient. I have the older 4 minute version, so the cool touch handles is a great improvement in the new design.
How quick it is!
Gets very very hot outer and high risk of steam burn

Easy and effective to use. Not too big, not too small - I can sterilise a couple of small bottles and my breast pump all at once. In general would definately recommend this product.
Quick and easy to use - no fuss. Can be easily packed away. Mine came with a couple of extras - Avent bottles and a dummy.
Doesnt fit larger 240ml bottles standing directly upright, have to put them on a lean. Must leave for a couple of minutes after sterilising otherwise steam can escape and will burn. A bit pricey - we paid about $70 for ours which was on special. Takes up a bit of bench space.

when I bought this I actually thought ti was going o be a bit of a while elephant... However now I have it and I needed it quickly one night, I was very very grateful to have it. Its pretty big but I guess i has to be to be able to "Sterilise" the amount of bottles and pumps and teats it can in one go. Good that contents stay clean for 24 hours. I usually run it befire I go to bed so that the stuff is there and ready to go in the night if needed.
Quick and easy to use.
Slightly pricey for what is essentially a microwave container

At first I found the steriliser to be both cumbersome and fiddly - but that may just have been sleep deprivation. Now that I have sorted myself out and know what I need each day I find it to be quick and easy.
Quick, easy and chemical free. Fits all the Avent products easily. No need for yet another appliance taking up valuable bench space. Portable.
I thought it was a bit expensive for what it is. Only just fits in the microwave.

this steriliser is very easy to use. it holds 6 bottles, teats and lids so you can prepare all your bottles in advance, only takes 2 mins which is great if you've forgotten to sterilise and you have a screaming bub demanding their food. the cooler touch safety grips are great as in the previous model me and hubby found ourselves constantly burning our fingers when removing the unit from the microwave.
easy to use, quick, stores a great amount of bottles so can sterilise in one go, easy to clean, not heavy or bulky so easy to take away with you

Well worth buying and very useful for any parent. It is a much cheaper product than an electronic steriliser and works just as well. It only takes 2 minutes in the microwave to sterilise the equipment which means less fussing around if you need things in a hurry (i.e. baby is crying). Also it can fit the manual breast pump parts as well as a couple of bottles at the same time. We have used it for 3 months now and my newborn has never been sick so it must work well.
It's quick
Simple to use
Can fit bottles and breast pump parts

What a convenient way to sterilise my babie's bottles. No boiling water, sterilising tablets or chemicals involved. Just wash the bottles, place up to six bottles in it, add some water and pop it in the microwave. I even sterilise my babie's dummies in it. I pop it in the microwave before going to bed and get it in the morning. Contents stay sterile for up to 24 hours if not opened. Perfect!

If you are opening it straight after it has been in the microwave, please be careful as you can burn yourself from the hot steam escaping from the lid.
easy to use, no chemicals
nothing really

I bought mine second hand for a trip overseas to visit family (I use the electric one at home). I found that it was really handy for the trip and just filled it up with clothes for while it was in the suitcase! I also like that once you finish with it, you can put it away versus leaving it out on the bench like I do the electric one.
It is quick and easy to use to sterilize bottles. It is reasonably priced (new or second hand) and relatively compact. I chose this over other Avent microwave models as it has the clips on the side and just felt safer knowing that the lid was secure given that I would be moving it around with hot water in it.
None that I can think of.

I have used this unit since I started bottle feeding my first child and it has lasted through to my second child also. I did not like the smell and was worried about sterilizing babies bottles in any kind of solution which is why I purchased my advent sterilizer and have never looked back. It fits perfectly into my small microwave and I can fit up to 7 bottles, lids and teats in at once. I highly recommend this product.
An easy way to sterilize baby bottles without using any chemicals or cleaning agents.
I like everything about this unit.

I didn't need to sterilize very often, but when I did I was thankful that it was easy and didn't take very long.
I bought this product when I discovered how long it takes to sterilize by boiling. It is easy to use and a great price. It also stays sterilized for 24 hours.
If you follow the instructions to the letter you will do your head in. I found that you can put items in wherever and it works just the same.

Time depends on wattage of your microwave. But instruction booklet is easy to follow & has charts/diagrams on what wattage to use with what time, also on how to pack the steriliser with different products. We use ours everyday and find it easy, convienant and compact. Good that it's sterile for 24hrs so you can leave it overnight until you need to use it. Holds a lot (enough for 2 pumps or 6 bottles). Will fit medulla brand pump and bottles also. Easy to transport when you travel/away from home.
Reaonably priced, convienant, compact and portable. Large enough to hold my breastpump as well as bottles. Sterile up to 24hours if you don't take off the lid.
Came with dummy, 2xbottles. Easy to use & effective.
Nothing really.

Microwave Steam

How do I store my bottles and teats after sterilizing? I left it on the drying rack but there's still moisture in everything (everything evaporates nicely when I boil though).

Hi CinD, thanks for reaching out. It is recommended that you do not leave a feeding nipple or AirFree vent insert in direct sunlight or heat. Also never leave in disinfectant for longer than recommended, as this may weaken the parts. Keep all parts dry in a covered container. You can find more information here: https://philips.to/2TbYEoF
