G,day Philips, bit of fan your products, and I'm in the market for a processor, Apr.22, keen too look at the 776 or similar, but also keen to find out from your people; have you fixed the base of food container-faulty seal? attachment breaking/seperating unintentionally, engineered joint, separation issue? And any motor and drive issues? Other than that, after homework, if you've re-engineered the obvious fault, I'd certainly like to purchase this product. Peter Andrews

What improvements have been made to the current model of the HR776/93 Food processor to eliminate the problems listed by the buyers who have commented below? It is disappointing to hear that there are inherent weaknesses in Philips products. I have both the airfryer and pressure cooker and have been happy with them so far.

Hi!
I was wondering if the issue of longevity is still a problem? I have had two Phillips food processors and both lasted about 3 years. The latest one is still good for mayo but not much else. If I buy another one can I use the blades from the previous model, especially the mayonnaise attachment. Just deciding whether to go another Phillips or try a brand that lasts longer. I hate throwing things out but love the machine. Thanks!

Read moreries. Unfortunately so! Hopefully, the future will bring the HR7776 a tool like that.Hi i have just purchased HR7776 and was wondering if it is possible to purchase and use extra parts for cutting on this model which come included with other models. For example can the disc for cutting thin and thick strips, included with HR7778 model be purchased separately and used in the HR7776 model?
Can i ask a question, my husband and i own one of these and we are very happy, but we have a debate on something about the performance of the machine and its longevity, so here's the question..
We make our own dog food, so we use carrots.
is the machine going to be stressed out more if you grate carrots or slice them?
My husband say if i grate carrots it will wear the machine out quicker and slicing them will make the machine last longer?.
Good question! There are only winners in this debate, as both discs can be used to process carrot. So if you're either using the reversible shredding disc or the adjustable slicing disc, the machine s...
