Do you have quality control??? If so they are useless. Received a calendar for Xmas and the first page was covered in banding lines. Terrible quality. Yes I know you probably have thousands of orders but surely the person wiring the calendar saw the problem. Otherwise retrain them

We're sorry to hear that there was a issue with your Calendar order.

A lot of our Projects tends to have the washed out, faded, stripey backgrounds so a team member may not have noticed the error. However if the error was very noticeable, we are curious to learn more about this.

Would you be able to send 2 Photos to [email protected] and a team member will be able to help you with the replacement and also learn who was creating your order.

Set a Default Font
Simply add a text box, type in your text and highlight the text, then right click your mouse and select ‘Use current style as default text style’.

I think you should be able to Donna - their website gives delivery times for Australia and also New Zealand. Just to make sure I suggest emailing them - I have always found them very helpful. My tip when making a photobook - make sure you auto enhance all your photos to ensure they are light enough, otherwise the photos may look a bit dark in the printed book.

How do I transfer my photos from my iphotos on to the left side of the program ready to put on a page?

Click, drag and place into the selected box on the page, however it depends on whether you have selected a Pre-designed page. Alternatively click on the + up the top which will then give you a box onto your page - from there you can drag the photo into that box and enlarge and move around the page to wherever you want it located on the page.

Hello Diana,
In order to load your photos from iPhoto into our software, you will need to export them to another location like your Desktop.
To export photos:
1. Select the photo or photos you want to export.
2. Choose File > Export.
3. At the top of the Export Photos window, click the File Export button.
4. Click Export.
5. Choose where to save the exported photo files, and then click OK.
You can then load the photos from that location into the software.

Am in the process of doing a photo book. I keep getting a warning over one photo which says 'low quality picture' can this be fixed or if left will it still be developed i my book?

I've had that with old photos that have been scanned. I did a family album and all the old photos ( black and white or sepia) came up as low quality and looked just the same as the originals when the book was printed. If you are trying to make the photo too big it can pixilate a bit and it will get picked up. You can try and make the picture a bit smaller as that sometimes helps. If it has an exclamation mark on it and it looks fuzzy or out of focus I wouldn't use it, but if it looks alright when you look at the page full size I would ignore the warning. I usually get one book printed, check it and then do copies for family etc if I need them, that way I can make the odd formatting change or pick up any problems before I print out any extras.

Hi, sorry about the delay in replying - I am in Mongolia wirthout internet access, Suggest you try and reduce the size of the picture until the low quality flag disappears. Also when you re-size the picture, re drag it from the ablum on the side of the page. This often helps quality. When you look at a low quality image on preview, the quality may not be that bad. Hope this helps, Also the help line is fantastic for such quesrions,

I have no idea, you need to check with the help desk at photo books express. All I can tell you is that they won't correct the faults for you. Good Luck, I hope it turns out OK.

I wrote several emails and also tried the customer support. It took a while until they responded. They have just bad customer service. Good luck and don't expect too much.

Why does the Font List re-build each time you open PhotoBooks Express?

I'm afraid this is far too technical a question for me to answer! It's something I'd not noticed and it did not affect my use of the program. This is probably a question you should address to the company's technical experts. I just found the program easy to use and the results very pleasing.

Hi, I honestly have no idea why it does that. But in any event, we have rebuilt our lost book with an Australian provider called Momento Photobooks. These guys are based in Sydney (near where we live), have real live people to speak to, and have a reputation for being expensive but high quality. Our first book was beautiful, and stitched bound (not glued together) so looks snazzy, even if expensive. We paid A$70 + A$10.50 for shipping for a 50 page book. This was a special offer, which normally costs $110 for a 50 page book. Good luck!
