Overall good but a few complaints
The main things i like about my Polaris is the ride. It glides across the paddocks Also the motor starts easy and has plenty of power. Then it comes to servicing!, I do all my own vehicle servicing and living on a farm it is the only option really. To buy oil for the Polaris is a big secret the manual and the dealer will not give you oil specifications so if you do not want to buy Polaris oil and buy Nulon Penrite etc, it becomes a nightmare to confidently use the correct oil. This gets me very angry that they treat customers with contempt to n...Read more
ot provide alternative oil for the machine. To bad if you do not live close by to a dealer. This has to be against consumer law but Polaris is getting away with it. The other gripe is the oil drain is hard to get to. Not engineered to be easy to own!. Also the transmission shift is very clunky and hard to shift and became almost impossible to change gears after about 150 hours of use and i had to take it to the dealer who said a gear shift cam had become dry and needed lubricating. The quad is kept in a shed and never been in water and kept like new. Well its starting to get difficult to shift again and the quad has only done 250 hours. I don't do a lot of hours but it is run regularly. To some up i should have tried some other brands first and do not think i would buy another Polaris.1 comment

mp and have to take hoses off to clean the tank filter then prime the oil lines!!! Honestly why not use a wet sump like 99.9% of other engines. Its like a pimply engineer who hates everyone designed it to be difficult to work on. Even the battery is up under the left back mud guard, hard to get to and covered in mud. Downgraded to a 2
