I’ve looked through the manual but I can’t find what dh stands for on the aircon where it’s suppose to tell the temperature. Can anyone answer please?

dh stands for dehumidifier, you can not change anything on that setting. Also they recommend detaching the exhaust on that setting and draining the water tank with a hose.......

I have the pool cool unit we bought it last summer and it worked great. I've just set it up today and it turns on fine works for about 10-15 mins then turns off. It's tripping the power board I've now tried two boards but it keeps happening. It's still under warranty but I don't understand why it's happening?

Dont use the power board with it. Plug it straight into the power point. Never use a power board or extension lead with it.

Any old bit of rubber will do, that water is not under pressure. Just get some suitable rubber and shape it with scissors

To empty the water tank you have to drain it through the pipe in the back ... how do you empty this ? The pipe is to close to the ground to put a tray under it .. is there an easy way please ?

No it's very difficult especially on carpet. Easier to stick a towel down & let it drain onto it

What if you have it sitting on your carpet in your bedroom and can’t drain it onto a towel ?
There must be an easier way ?

Just bought the 6kw unit from Harvey Norman yesterday and it's doing a great job, but when the compressor is running it makes an intermittent "clunking"/"scraping" sound - is this normal? Does anyone else have the same problem?
I can live with the noise it if it's normal, but I'm concerned there may be something inside the unit that is being damaged while the clunking noise is happening
Thank you

I have the 4.4kw unit and it makes the same sound. I am hoping it is not an issue and so far so good, still working fine after 4 weeks. My previous De Longhi did not make this sound but it didn't cool as well either

I bought a 6kw unit on the 2nd of January 2017 from Harvey Norman and it makes the same noise as you have described. I was concerned about it too, but as others here have said their units make a similar noise, I guess it must be normal

We returned our POLOCOOL PC-44BP/c to Harvey Norman yesterday bc after 2 weeks of buying it the unit started to switch between cooling and fan modes. Upgraded to the PC-58AP/C yesterday but has the same problem.
Anyone have any suggestions?

it would depend on the thermostat setting on the unit and the room temperature. It is normal for the compressor to cut in and out, therefore it may not blow out refrigerated air depending on the temperature selected. Hope this explains it.

I recently purchased a 6.0kW unit and whenever the compressor goes on I hear a kind of thudding or rubbing noise (not continuous, just periodically) from inside the unit. Can anyone advise if this is normal or not?

Hi Andrew. We have a 6.0kW unit and cant say have ever heard anything like that with ours. Runs pretty smooth.

Interesting...yesterday I cut opened the fly screen part where the exhaust hose connects to the window and that's helped, the noise has stopped happening. Just wait n see what happens I guess.

Thanks
