Pump Factory

People need to start researching products before purchasing. I don't understand what you expect from a cheap ebay pump. This company has sold pumps that have sadly killed someone, and are not honouring refunds for the product recall that was enforced.

A simple hot water pump for a gravity fed hot water system. Arrives quickly from there EBay store in March 2020. Dies in July 2020 mid shower. The phone number is a message service, they don't return calls. Contact though EBay, they don't return messages. So the 12 months warranty is worth nothing. They use several names and web sites

Bought 2 electric bolf buggies. With 2 months the screen popped off the led display and they refused to change it. 2 months later the battery, which is guaranteed for 36 holes only charged enough for 9 holes. I worte to them many times without response. Department of Fair Trading were contacted. The Pump Factory wrote to me offering to test the battery. After 3 weeks and 3 emails they replaced the battery with a new one... but it wasn't it was the same battery. I wrote to them explaining their error and they said it was a new battery. I charged it and tested it and it only went for 5 holes. I returned the battery but still no joy. I have not used my buggy since February. Buyers beware these guys are shonks. Don't buy anything from them.

I bought a bore pump. It was recalled. No refund.
Just found out that the director of this company has been fined $1.2 million for a supply a faulty
pump, electrocuting and causing the death of a woman in Townsville.
If you have one remove it, now. Will you get a refund? Probably never.

Pump recalled due to electrical safety issue.
Been chasing refund, and being ignored.
Can’t talk direct, You get diverted to call centre centre who send them an email. This pump was recalled by direction from electrical safety Australia which my understanding would make it illegal not to refund full amount on return of pump.

As reported by others, pump was not used much but went well. Was bought for extra capacity in bush fires. Sent it back as instructed for "safety recall". Never saw that product mentioned on Vic Gov't safety recalls on Vic Alert mobile app. No response to emails or phone calls to decoy number. Am now raising this with eBay - Pump Factory,s feedback won't be affected by this behaviour because it all occurs after feedback is given. Clearly I will never see my pump again. This shonky behaviour is not tolerable in our society.

Buyer's be warned on these rubbish cheap imported pressure pumps sold on ebay. Lasted only 3mths before pump failed and leaked water from housing.
Unfortunately like myself people will read these reviews after pump is purchased. Contacted seller and sadly no reply. I'm now stuck with a pump which basically useless.
Not even worth the 1 star rating i had to give it.

hi i have found that zoran & the pump factory very helpful and knowledgeable with their products, i had a problem with a product it was solved in 48 hr by zoran and the manufacturers, i could not be more happy with the service, the product that i received was a very good value item for its cost, i would definitely recommend them, 5 stars for sure . rick 3dwise

It is unfortunate that most will read this after they've purchased from this company.
The Pump Factory sold me a bore pump, which, as it later turned out, did not comply with electrical safety regulations, and was recalled under instruction by the Qld Government, labelled unsafe, and issued with a 'prohibition of use' notice (in May 2017).
The Pump Factory send me the recall notice by email in September 2017.

I had the pump set up and going and all looked well then I noticed a mixture of oil and water leaking out of housing. Apparently two seals had gone.
Visited factory to purchase new gaskets and seal, found the proprietor to be very unhelpful. Pump still not working two years later. So purchased a reputable brand pump instead, which, I should have done in first place.

Absolutely one of the rudest people I have ever dealt with. the worst customer service and terrible products. He refused to make one phone call to have his dodgy product picked up LAZY!!

Sent back a KASA submersible pump due to a recall from the pump factory, and told i would get a full refund. Over 6 months now and haven't heard from them. Ignoring emails, and phone calls are hopeless. This is shocking service.

Was contacted about recall. Sent back the pump, and since then have been waiting for refund. It is now 6 months later, and no response. Company will not return phone calls, emails are ignored. Called eBay, but cannot file complaint as more than six months since purchase. Called Paypal, but cannot get assistance. Absolutely worst service ever.

I,ve been buying on ebay for 15 years and this has been the worst experience Ive had.
I am still waiting on a refund for a kasa bore pump returned under a recall 6 months ago I was promised a refund but have not received it .

Very hard to deal with !

Thankfully I had not installed the 30m of "uv treated" shadecloth; after a month in the sun it turned to dust. Major difficulties in communication about return of item, and who would pay.
