Buyer beware
Shower screen exploded one day after install.
Apparently there is no warranty on any of the glass panels.
Told by mccleans maybe you did not install it correctly.
How sorry i was to choose these faulty units.

RUBBISH And Bad People To Deal With
Purchased a shower screen last year but was NOT happy as it leaked, and when I contacted them about it they were very rude, installer come back and drilled holes in the bottom channel to no avail, also the screen is not even parallel, thought we would try them again for our bathroom shower but was turned off as the sales person continuously said the F word in front of my wife and found it so disrespectful. Will never deal with this company again Very disappointed.

Product ok but installation guide rubbish!
Purchased the M3 bath screen from Bunnings. All components listed were included. Installation guide was only three bullet points and sounded simple enough but said to use 1/8 Drill Bit in instructions, 6mm on online video and ended up having to use 7mm to fit product. Followed online video to drill holes in the 'u' channel to attach screen but this didn't work well with the screws having nothing to attach to. Pretty disappointing finish to what is a good looking product - I'm a bit concerned now that it'll fall out at some point.

Quality concern of their products
Bought the Rick McLean euro frameless shower screen from bunnings and the glass fell out the bracket and lucky I noticed. I went to bunnings and they told me to bring the whole thing back for a refund. I checked another store at the same time and was told this product was restricted item due to quality issues.
Anyway, when I was about take the last piece out and the whole thing shattered and now I am sitting in emergency for stitches!
Do not buy from bunnings or this brand!

Bad Experience
A complete awful experience purchasing a shower from these guys. Customer service is untrustworthy and gives you the run around. The holes in the shower door were too big for the handle and the trimmings weren't the same as the ones advertised. Received plastic instead of aluminium! Problem was not solved for 3 months. What a complete disaster. If I had of read all of these reviews beforehand, I would never of had purchased a shower screen from these guys. Never again.

AVOID these shonky's
I can't even get to the stage of buying one... I've tried ring all the Adelaide Bunnings stores to see if a curved shower enclosure was available on display for viewing. No, there are no displays. I was told by a Bunnings team member to ring the company direct and when I did I spoke to a rude person on the phone who told me they do not deal with customers direct because they are a wholesaler so I told the woman I wanted to make a complaint because I want to see the expensive enclosure before I decide to buy and she rudely continued to tell me t...Read more
hey do not deal with customers directly. This is VERY BAD business. I'm now going to look for another designer curved shower screen from someone else who values their customers feedback. Very VERY disappointed with this experience.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

shower base too thin
The shower its self looks great when installed. However, remember it is NOT 1m x 1m more like 930mmx930mm The 1m comes with the curve. When constructing the walls remember to install fixing points at 930mm I found out the hard way! ALSO Please DO fill the so called self supporting base with quickset concrete or some other medium before installing. The acrylic is way too thin and gives when standing on it. It will eventually crack! I have made a fancy wooden base with soft rubber strips to stand on in the shower and take it out to dry after us...Read more
e. Also The acrylic walls do not adhere very well to a cement sheet lining. Having said all that, the shower looks great and draws lots of admiring looks from visitors. Shame about the quality. I would guess it really is a cheap import made to look rather grand with a fancy name.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Self supporting bull
Purchased a "self supporting shower base" easy installation was promised on the site, silicone into place easy as. Once purchased and box opened we discover packing sand required and installation is anything but simple...plumber furious as he had specifically asked for self supporting cost for time ensured.
Rang Rick Mcleans and couldn't have got a more incredibly rude, arrogant, obnoxious representative who said to bad suck it up pretty much. Had only rung to tell her to change the advertising to be a honest representation no agro.
Base thin and definitely not what we were expecting.
Never would purchase piece of do do again. Ultimately shoddy piece and a rude person behind the face or Rick McLean. Sack that one!!

Great shower for the corner of a small bathroom
I needed a compact shower and got a well-engineered, stylish one as well when I bought Spacia shower kit from Bunnings. Very happy with my choice. The trick to installation was to get walls and floor square first. This took 70% of the time. Actual installation was only 30%. Instructions are inadequate though phone up service was good. A YouTube how to... video would have solved most problems. Still not available to date. Luckily there was an installed example at a metropolitan Bunnings to refer to. This is not an easy DIY project but a terrific result is definitely possible.
Clever design. Seriously good.
Instructions not very clear. Have a few bits left over. Plus a jar of lube. When I was supposed to use that???

Very poor customer service, inferior installation service
I bought frameless, sliding shower screen to complement my newly renovated en suite, I was happy to pay extra for installation. I was told delivery would be 5-7 working days. After waiting a week and calling them to see when shower would be installed, I was told that I would have to wait for another overseas shipment which would not arrive until middle of January. When I phoned back in January I was told it would not be installed until early February. When I phoned back in early February, I was told middle of February. What a joke, after ...Read more
waiting over 2 months for product to be installed, one of the shower glass panels was not siliconed to the wall. All that was holding it in place, was the silicone along the front of the shower. When I rang to get someone to come out to fix up the problem, no one would ring me back. After numerous attempts to have matter resolved, I have paid a plumber to fix the problem. Do not buy from this company, customer service is appalling, once they have your money they are no longer interested. The installation process is costly but you receive an inferior service. I am very disappointed that I did not read these comments before spending good money for a product and installation service that is inferior. Terrible Shower Base connection assembly
Purchased a Rick McLeans acrylic Base from Bunnings 4-5 years ago, plumber installed with more effort than what, should have been required. Fittings are not Standard. 5 years later Drain end Ring assembly simply breaks away, guess where the water goes? Our house is on a Slab so Yep small catchment overflows and through your walls & foundation's
I was only made aware of the problem when I noticed that the Waste pipe through the wall to drain was sagging and became loose. To fix the problem I needed to break away bricks and cut away at the...Read more

Rick Mcleans Spacia curve shower
I purchased the 1mtr Spacia Curve from a Bunnings store, The builder and the plumber both looked at the box and designed the new bathroom around it.
Only to find when fitting the shower is not actually 1mtr. the straight edges are only 913mm and this is where the glass curve starts, so it is not as big as it sounds. The instructions are very basic and really not at all helpful for a DIY shower unit.
I would avoid this unless you really have installed one before.
Does look good
Sizes misleading, Very poor instructions.

Follow up, Rang them up to ask them about sizes as waterproof backing is bigger than base, approx. 100mm too big, they do not know what they are talking about or there own product, They said it should... Read more
be to big for waterproofing reasons, They told me I would need to cut it if it is too big, but they did not know how to cut it at it is very fragile. My tiller informed me it should not be that far over size as you can not tile over plastic and it would need to be cut to fit.(Damaged first on had to buy second one for $250). I would recommend buying a DIFFERENT brand that is the size it says it is and comes complete.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
Not trust worthy
They refused to honor their warranties. They were abusive and confrontational and just plain horrible. The item I had bought was clearly defective they even agreed it was defective and then just said bad luck. I said that's not how it works, if its faulty you have to replace it if its within the warranty period. They then became abusive and threatened me. Disgusting company.
Nothing.
Everything. They are liars.
