Do not believe the negatives
I have tried a number of dating sites (elite singles, eharmony and pof) and RSVP is the only one that is truly genuine. I have met up with several members from the site and they have all been what they described in their profiles. I have met people for everything from a single meeting (things just didn't work out) up to a longer term relationship (9 months) and many things in between. A friend of mine met his wife on RSVP. And while what people write in their profiles is not up to the site, the fact that the people are genuine shows the site is...Read more
also genuine. Of course you have to be prepared for a lot of knock backs, but again that is nothing to do with the site. To summarise, this site is not bogus or a ripoff and is by far the best online dating site that I have found.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

RSVP - Ripoff Susceptible Vulnerable People
they are a total joke nothing but scammers either profiles that don't exist or robots that reply to you once and then get taken offline - except they state - NO LONGER A MEMBER OF RSVP OR MEMBER HAS BEEN REMOVED BY RSVP - it is a total joke and hopefully this might stop other genuine people from falling into the trap of this joke of a site

too expensive to use, have to pay for chat, photos rules are SO long. the quality of candidates are so poor, have scammers there as well. Try zoosk instead.

Most men real outsiders, evident from profiles
Most, not all men on rsvp appear to be there as outsiders. Approaching women in the real world beyond them.

Scam alert! Spammed by user who was removed, but in replying to the spammer it used stamps
Scam alert! Spammed by user who was removed, but in replying to the spammer before they were banned, it used stamps which rsvp would not replace when I kindly asked them to they would not look into it and just wanted to make it too hard, they only allow 3 contacts for $56 and one of these was the spammer! Then they charged my card a further $56 to renew I fought it through my bank and won! This is a scam site! Rsvp advertise on google as a christian dating site which is deception. Then they keep sending me loads of promotion emails so I demanded they remove me and all data associated with my account! Worst dating site ever do not waste your money!

Way too expensive and for what?
I joined the basic plan and paid $80 odd dollars for 6 months - you'd think that be enough to start a conversation with someone within this dating site BUT in order to actually chat I now am asked to PAY more to connect to men who find me approachable. WHAT? and WHY ? A complete scam. Do not join!
I wish I read these review before handing over my money!

Went onto this site and paid good money for lots of stamps. Their policy said if you don’t get a reply to “kisses” after a certain amount of days we’ll refund to you .....doesn’t happen !
I think an organisation like ASIC needs to have a look at their business model and how they’re treating consumers.

WARNING
I don't recommend RSVP I recently rejoined and it had many of the same photos as it did ten years ago. It seems odd that genuine profiles would not be updated. I wasted my stamps as whilst the profiles seemed like the guys were looking for genuine relationships all they did was ask for flesh. I did not meet up with any of them. Also you get time and money wasters who let you use your stamps on them when they have no interest at all to keep themselves in the top 100. The site is just scammers and sleeze. I used a prepaid credit card to buy my stamps so I can't review on the level of honesty when it comes to debits.

Dont waste your money guys!
Don't waste your time and MONEY!! Same people are on Tinder,Oasis and other free sites. Don't pay $5 just to send an email that will never be answered or attention seekers looking for their weekly fix! (who would never buy a stamp or could be a false profile).
RSVP is owned by media giant Fairfax and its all about $$$.
Take your time and read the following reviews and if that doesn't convince you "NOT" to join, you are most likely one of those fools who sends money to a Nigerian lover!!

paid emails and plenty of "FAKE" profiles. I purchased the 24 stamp deal, had about 4 responses from ladies asking to make contact and the other ladies who asked for an email never even responded. Contacted rsvp support team and all you get is a generic response from some dude called [name removed]. So pretty much a waste of time and defiantly money. Their terms of conditions are misleading and to their advantage, so you will never get a refunded stamp! Its just an all out money grab by big business.Similar opinion? Like begging for acknowledgment of your own existence
I've been on RSVP for years, I've tried my best to upload good photos and show my inner self, my compassionate side, however unlike in real life where I can enter a room and engage in conversation with a stranger and have a generally good experience - with RSVP I have spent years trying to get a simple reply to my first paid response, I get the feeling people are not serious or are unaware at least that the first recipricated positive response is means for a third response which is a PAID first personalised message...
I have found that when ...Read more
I get a positive response to me making first paid contact nothing will happen, ignorance by no response, now I'm not doing anything more than making general greetings and remarks about the profile yet I have found I get no reply, like I bought a girl a drink in a bar only for her to walk away with it without a word (something that has never happened to me in a real life situation nor would I expect) if I am doing it wrong let me know but I am sure I have not been rude, but the lack of response burns as this seems to only happen to me on a paid site. I would like to see RSVP send messages to the other party based on their failure to respond as an education that someone has just paid to continue/start the conversation you indicated you wanted. Be sure to make clear that a party has paid to continue based on your response, this is not supposed to be a throw away dating site, money and genuine interest is inferred. I will no longer pay once I have wasted my stamps on unconscious interactions and have not and will not recommend this site to anyone ever, find a social gathering group and get out then you will meet many people for free who won't disrespect you before you even had a chance to talk. Also the app is faulty and the real time chat does not work properly, I have waited for a response only to find when I manually entered the app I missed a reply by hours. Major fail. And there are weird issues with characters between the mobile and desktop platform (upside down question marks instead of emojis I recall)Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
Be aware that RSVP might well keep taking your money after your 'one off' payment!
Because RSVP is a large company making a huge profit I expected this site to be professional and safe. I have went back on this site after 10 years and noticed several pics on active profiles that were from 10!!! Years ago. I met a couple of nice guys but found it offensive that they encourage people to send a $15 message instead of a free kiss asking the other party if they would be interested in receiving a message. After numerous unwelcome messages I left the site after only 3 weeks and with 3 unused stamps. RSVP kept charging my account as if I had agreed to a membership...even though I had bought a one off offer and gad terminated my account.

Privacy settings not working
I just realised if I put my profile name into google my apparently hidden photo comes up in google. How can this be when the site charges you for privacy settings????? Have deleted my account immediately.

Suspended my account for no reason
Rsvp suspended my account. I wasn’t aware of this until I tried to log in.
I contacted support and they told me via email that my account was suspended and in order to activate it I had to provide my drivers license or my passport. I’m not willing to do either as there’s too much personal information on there, ie address. They won’t give me a reason why only to say it’s written in the terms and conditions.
I’ve always been polite and responded to kisses and emails, have put up recent photos etc. so do not understand what they are doing and th...Read more

Just another scam
Caveat emptor. Don't buy stamps ahead because if you want out they don't do refunds. And I suspect they sell your details to a third person. You have better chance if you stood on
a street corner. With a placard. Anyone for dinner.

RSVP means Ripoff Susceptible Vulnerable People
Rsvp has been exposed on a current events program for underhanded dealings. Matches are a joke. They obviously don't pay too much attention to customer profiles. Stamps are $15 each and while that seems okay it soon builds up in cost.

Ongoing payment scam
I recently took advantage of what appeared to be a one-off deal for $39 involving me receiving 3 stamps and premium membership for 1 month and after finding a partner through the site I had set my profile to "taking a break" from RSVP. Unbeknown to me, despite obviously no longer being active on the site, I continue to be charged at a rate $56 p/month. I have argued my case on a moral basis but RSVP have refused my refund due to their policy stating that I should've been aware that the payments would continue until I physically stop them myself. I guess I would have if I knew in the first place this apparent one-off deal was in fact a means to lure you in to a never ending payment plan.

Charged me $135, suspended my account and sent out defamatory emails about me
I signed up for a premium membership and paid $135 for 3 months. Within a few weeks of activating the site I was informed by someone that I had been messaging that he had received an email from RSVP informing him that my account had been suspended because I had not been 'playing by the rules' even though I had only responded to a few messages with the usual small talk. I hadn't used it in a few days so didn't realise it had been suspended. RSVP had sent this email to the people I had been in contact with - detailing my 'suspicious activity' and...Read more
advised that they should no longer contact me. I contacted RSVP regarding this and when I asked the company to substantiate their claims they couldn't produce any evidence of any wrongdoing on my part and they refused to issue an apology to me and or a statement acknowledging their wrongdoing. So I have paid for a premium account, but can't use it as it has been suspended.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
Happy with RSVP
Living in a small mining town in regional Qld and working a lot in my job at that time meant it was difficult to meet people who wanted more than just to hook up so I tried internet dating. I chose RSVP because I thought I would meet people who were looking for a relationship. I met my partner in 2012 on RSVP and we are still together now in 2018 with an 8 month old baby and plans for marriage. I have not used the site recently but cannot fault my experience with RSVP

RSVP suffers the same issues of onling dating but offers some hope!
Decided to try this site for what's its worth. Problem is the guys get endless fake attacks for the unaware gents. What genuine females there are for guys seeking women, are generally fussy, over reactive and downright rude so reading tall the existing reviews I totally agree with. I suspect online dating will end in tears for some, and a waste of money for many. The cost of stamps is ridiculously high unless you get a bulk discount offer which is still over $110 and offers NO Guarantee on any dates and contacts expire after 30 days. Premium me...Read more
mbership with 3 stamps a month is stupid. This is what raises my concern in that time seems to be killer, personally I want to rush into a relationship because most fail so it's like looking for gold in the ground, you'll pull out many bits of odd metal junk before you find a nugget. This is evident in that most women you contact, provide pics or contact details or plans to contact fall on deaf ears and you hear nothing. This demands a stamp refund in my books by won't happen. Also when you make contact again, I find many women make an excuse to turn against you for some reason trying to make you feel bad. Really most just can't say on a date, sorry you're not my type see ya! Gutless! So I feel the whole circus of online dating is breeding a society of women becoming too fussy and guys becoming worn out, depressed and can't be bothered so become abrupt, rude etc. Ok so some of us just want a good date and eventually a good pash, cuddle and FWB but really what's the big deal. At 55 plus society needs to loosen up and enjoy life but it seems RSVP is for the top end of town ladies, personally I find it a waste of time. Get a dog and go meet ladies in the park.1 comment

Total fake
Joined RSVP many years ago. After 1 month, I deleted my profile. There were too many fake profiles on this site. No one answered any of my free kisses.
I thought I’d give it another go this month. Nothing has changed. Out of 25 or so free kisses, only 3 were returned. Then had to buy stamps to go any further with these members. $45 for 3 stamp that expire in 90 days. Each stamp used allows communication with a member for 30 days. Used 1 stamp to message 1 member, got no reply. Used another stamp to send a message, got a reply, no that member h...Read more

Gave it up after seeing the same old faces time and time again. Just indicative these women aren't finding a partner and persisting with the site. I cancelled and got out but they do tempt you with 6 free stamps for a weeks use.
