Although this product is designed for the treatment of non-specific dermatoses and fungal infections, it is intended for external use only and our concern would be if your dog is excessively chewing her paws that she may accidentally take in too much of it internally, so unfortunately we would not recommend in this instance.

Thanks for taking the time to get in touch with us - I'm sorry to hear about your experience with Rufus & Coco Itch Relief. I hope, at least, that the itching has improved?

I'd like to ask you a few questions, I hope you are able to help with some extra info? Please email us on [email protected].

1. Could you please send through the batch number and expiry date so we can check the correct batch details.
2. Did you give the bottle a shake before using the shampoo? If so, was it a long shake? As you would have noted, the orange active ingredient is suspended in the wash and if not shaken you may have received a concentrated dose from the bottom of the bottle.
3. How long did you leave the product on?

Whilst Selenium Sulfide is naturally orange, when shaken well prior to use it usually mixes well with the other ingredients and will not stain the coat. More importantly it will NOT harm your cat or its skin in any way.
Most of our customers are in fact pets with white coats as they are prone to having skin conditions.

In the meantime, to help you and your little mate out we are more than happy to send you out a complimentary bottle of our Bright White Wash. It is a shampoo for light coloured coats that will help to remove the dirty pink staining.
