I have been going to S + S Toowong for more than 4 years now and the service has always been okay. Nothing to write about. Today I went back for just a regrowth touchup and got Abbey attending to me. She was the BEST one I have ever come across. She was thorough with her work, it showed that she loves her job and she was just amazing.

Here I am waiting for someone to acknowledge my existence other than when I arrived. I asked someone if anyone was going to attend to me after 30 mins waiting still had no action and telling me she had another customer to attend to before me

The service I received the first visit was so bad I contacted them to see what I could do. They offered to fix it and it ended up being worse than the first service. Some of the girls are really lovely in there but the outcome of my hair was awful. I’ve since requested a refund via head office and I was told it wasn’t going to happen and then I was hung up on.

Quite literally the worst.
I have had a bad experience here in the past but this time all I needed was a wash and blow dry - I figured how hard can it be?... too hard apparently. I left with wet hair and a resolution to never go back again. Bad seniors staff teaching bad practices to juniors staff. This was my second visit. My first visit was really pleasant the hairdresser was fantastic. She listened to exactly what I wanted and I was thrilled. Unfortunately, not the second time. I made an appointment, I sat in the chair waiting for 15 minutes before they checked my name. They had lost my appointment. Destiny was assigned as my hairdresser. Went for a hair cut and young lady who cut my hair was revolting I asked to be layers and blend in as very straight noticed hair sticking out noticed in the mirror got a heart attack . Not what I asked for. Luckily another hairdresser fixed my hair up a bit didn’t apologise for the mess up paid $54 down the drain never going back will not recommend this salon to anyone.
Will take my money where they are appreciated. Disappointed!!!!

DONT GO HERE FOR COLOURING SERVICES, period. badly priced. i said that my scalp was burning unusually with the bleach but no one paid mind to me, when i pointed out the BURN marks, they claimed i have some skin disease that caused it (spoiler alert - I DONT!) the hairdresser that was appointed to me was clueless, impolite and unprofessional; required asssisstance from her manager every waking second. i went and paid 300 bucks TO GET myself BURNT. dont go here, i swear.

I went to Morayfield’s store with a $200 voucher that I got for Mother’s Day. All it would buy me was a colour and a little bit of my hair thinned out. They didn’t even dry my hair or listen to what I really wanted. My hair looks no different. Just has a colour put through it. The colour was so rushed to be put into my hair that it ended up all over the cape and jumper I had on. Very unfriendly staff. Although I have been to the Chermside store and for $230 I got half a head of foils, a cut, toner, treatment and hair straightened. I did ask why they charged me so much for a colour and the acting manager said it was because my hair was long. It’s not that long. Just past my shoulders. I didn’t even get a receipt.

I went to get my hair cut by Tania today, l she took over an hour to do it, as she just left me and went attended to another woman, they don't want to miss any appointments so they do two people at the same time as if I had nothing else to do she also kept saying that she was a proffesional and she needed to style my hair for an extra $36 I kept telling her I did not have the extra money all they want is to make extra money not interested in services do not recommend

Thanks to Flick and the crew at S and S Chermside for doing wonders with my hair! It was a big job and I’m super happy with the friendly customer service, the professionalism the staff show and for making my time there a very relaxing experience.

Went there to get a brown and caramel balayage but got yellow blond bleached and damaged hair and paid $200 for it. Complained to the business and head office but they didn't want to fix the issue or give me a refund.

They deserve 0 stars. will never go back and also told all my friends to stay away from this business.

On Tuesday 8 March I made on appointment 11.30am to colour my roots and trim. Seri was wonderful, polite and listen to what I wanted. After colouring Seri was told to take her break, she was very apologetic. Two hours later I'm still waiting to rinse off my hair. Everyone that walked in were seated, caped and attended to. After 2 hours I left in disgust and rinse my hair at home. I paid $70 for the terrible service.

Six months or so ago I made an appointment. Turned up I was told they are very busy I had to wait. I asked how long she said 'Whenever'. I hate to think its about race as she wouldn't speak to a white Australian like that. S+S Hair. Beauty Taigum you have a disgusting culture and behaviour.

I got a fringe I didn't even ask for. I don't like it. I just wanted a cut. Who even does that. Just give someone a fringe out of nowhere.

I paid $135 for foils, asking for especially white ones. I came out with same hair I went in with. My hair was rinsed in cold water and I'm sure the 'conditioning treatment' was actually purple to take the yellow out. Will never return.
