UA55D7000 (55"), UA46D7000 (46")good but very slow
Tv picture is awesome, sound is good, my only problem is the lag in the smart hub. Its so unbearably slow that i dont even use it. I would recommend getting a newer version if your interested in using anything to do with the smart hub (as i assume most people are).

Samsung Warranty Service
My Samsung TV was serviced under warranty for a small "bug",the service engineers visited 3 separate times, each time they made the problems worse to the point the TV ceased to work! They said having broken it totally that they couldn't fix it! They recommended a replacement which I agree to but Samsung won't supply one and can't fix the TV. This is unbelievable. Samsung is very dodgy, bugs in TVs, very poor warranty service, immoral commercial ethics. This is the worst consumer company I have ever dealt with. I can't believe their actions and ...Read more

Good, but poor sound quality
I have had this TV for a couple of years now - the picture is great and it's so thin! Looks really nice. The picture is amazing in full HD. I like the apps and also being able to watch shows on USB.
Major downfall is the standard sound/speakers. Very poor - had to have it way up. Ended up buying a Samsun surround sound package which is excellent, however don't even think of purchasing this TV without a surround sound system.

Outstanding TV - Clear, crisp picture
Bought this TV a couple of years ago now and from day one we've been impressed with the picture quality. Lovely crisp picture and the colours are just fabulous, particularly in full HD.
The 200Hz picture is simply outstanding - throw away your 60Hz TV because 200HZ refresh rate makes a world of difference to the picture quality!
The GUI is quite user-friendly (albeit a little slow at times). There are software updates and other fun apps available for it on the internet too.
The 3D system works well in it too - we have four sets of 3D glasses...Read more

Excellent picture
anyone that sees this tv at my house comments what a clear life like picture. great refresh rate and smooth motion. it was a pretty sweet spot for price around $2300 for the 55" in 2012. I love streaming 1080p movies to it on 5Ghz, real experience, 3d is awesome as is 2d->3d function. As much as I love it I have to say it's CPU is slow for any apps including the TV Guide, it's a shame but I forgive it due to being such a superb set.
Vivid smooth picture, 5Ghz streaming
Slow guide and apps

Great TV with a picture to die for
This is the new model Samsung 46" LED TV with the very narrow border and Smart TV options. The TV stands on a chrome plated set of four feet. It replaced an older model 46" TV that had a big border, this one looked so small when installed. Once assembled (screwed the feet on and hooked up to the various cables, I turned it on. About 10 minutes or so later it had tuned itself up to all the correct channels, found the wifi and asked me for the details, updated its software and was working. The picture clarity is stunning - although you get ...Read more
used to such a great picture very quickly. I had no idea what I would use the SMART features for until I investigated them. Still don't use them a lot but downloading programs from the ABC and SBS is easy and efficient. I have now hooked up a hard disk drive to the USB port and it records TV shows effortlessly. One disappointment is that it has nowhere to hook up my wireless headphones. There is a headphone jack but this is not suitable as it cuts out the speakers. We were told that the TV speakers were useless and we would need a surround sound system to hook up. For two 55 year olds the TV sound is fine out the box. The first one we bought lasted three weeks. After 3 weeks or so a very thin black line about a third up from the bottom and running all across the screen appeared and never went away. We took it back to the supplier who exchanged it for a new one and the replacement has been working now for about 3 months. This TV also works with 3D video input or will turn any picture to simulated 3D. Had a look and decided it was not for us. Have the 3D glasses (one pair supplied and one pair purchased for the kids) but don't think they will wear out an time soon. It also runs a lot cooler than the old LCD model and is much cheaper to run.2 comments

Great TV that suits our needs
We've had this TV for the last 5 months now and have not had a problem with it (touch wood). It is easy to use and we love the Smart Hub and my husband loves the AFL analyser.
The images are very colorful and sharp. The viewing angles are not restrictive at all.
Design and Smart Hub and Bigpond utilities and good internet browsing.
Very rare banding can be noticed during panning scenes in docos/grass in footy games

Brilliant Picture and Performance
Purchased at start of September 2011. Have been more than impresed with its briliant colours, quality picture, 3D and Smart Hub. It has performed to and beyond expectations. Also the Guide and programming shows to watch, wi-fi interactivity with all devices eg phones, laptops, pc, internet TV and smart hub sees us spending more time using these features than normal TV. This TV has impressed everyone that has visited our home and several friends have purchased the same model.
Energy efficient, low heat, thin screen and attractive stand. Brilliant colurs and quality picture in fast action movies and live sports
Cost of additional glasses for 3D

Excellent Television
Okay, well I have had this television for a good 7-8 months now; and I've had literally no issues whatsoever. The only minor issue I did have was a pair of damaged 3D glasses which were replaced almost immediately upon mention.
The television is sleek, fast, beautiful, energy efficient and just pure awesome. Part of the Samsung Smart TV range; it works well in conjunction with other Samsung devices such as their Smart TV endorsed Blu-Ray player range, and QWERTY remote range.
The television has a stunning image with deep blacks. None of t...Read more
his grey space in Star Wars - but real black. Amazing isn't it? What really brings out the true colours of such an amazing television is the ability to watch in stunning Full-HD (1080p). This really works wonders when watching amazing new releases such as 'Despicable Me', or James Cameron's 'Avatar' in stunning 3D or just singular Full-HD. There really is no losing with this television. The television incorporates and utilises something which is wholly unique, and completely awesome - known as the Smart Hub. This is an internet TV capable button on your remote which activates the ability to browse the web, watch your favourite Youtube videos, and rent movies online; all from the comfort of your living room.Similar opinion? Fantastic Television
We purchased this television in October 2011 and have been extremely happy with it. Obviously, the 2012 series 7 range is in stores now, so this model has been superceded. If you can find it in stock at a lower price, it's definately worth it. Otherwise I'm sure the 2012 model will perform just the same if not better. Picture quality on this television is great, displaying HD images and 3D images perfectly. The only couple of minor complaints have to do with the firmware updates, as some of the apps are a bit slow and unresponsive.
HD and 3D picture quality
Some apps are a bit slow to run
