Happy & sane
This machine has saved my sanity after the last machine made clothes dirtier than what they were before they were washed as it had no lint filters, this machine has 2 lint filters & they work well. It's nice & quiet, easy to use & produces clean clothes, so all in all I'm happy with it.

Nice Machine, Not Just At MASTERS
Had it a couple of months now, nice machine, easy to learn to use. I use the delicate cycle for general washing so my clothes aren't all tangled up at the end. Nice big bowl can handle anything, the Samsung label on the front of the machine is crooked and at this early stage hard to review for reliability so that's why 3 stars.
Poster below mentioned only available at MASTERS, I thought this too and went to buy one from my local masters store at $880 but they had run out, and suggested I drive to another store, but it was a bit far away. An o...Read more

Good do far
I just got mine on Thursday from Betta Home Living. Good Guys have them also or can get them if not displayed. Small physical size for the kilo rating. The pipe out the side is the new modern way as the new laundry troughs accept pipes into the side and all the taps are located inside the trough cabinet. No more ugly taps and pipes above your washer anymore.

WARNING- Make Sure You Have Room For The Drain Outlet
We were looking for the biggest top loader that would fit into our washing machine 'alcove'. The specs for this unit say it is 63.7cm wide would fit with mm to spare. Great! Once you unpack the unit from its carton, however, you read the installation instructions inside which say 'the machine must be installed at least 10cm from the wall'. The unit is therefore effectively 73.7cm wide! The drain outlet comes out of the SIDE of the machine (on the left as you look at it). Any more than if I was buying a new car and would feel a need to check whe...Read more
ther the exhaust came out the back or out the side did I think I needed to check if the drain came out the side or the rear of the washing machine. This has to be the dumbest design idea since the lead balloon. Maybe it enables you to use the drain hose to put out a fire if the machine catches alight! Looking at some reviews of this model I see that we aren't the only unwitting ones to fall foul of this feature and others have had to cut holes in walls to accommodate the drain hose. Yes, we should have read them first. The adjoining wall, in our case, is brick so it's not an option for us. I don't think that this 'feature' is exclusive to only this Samsung model so check before buying. Fortunately Masters have been gracious enough to take this unit back and do a swap for another brand/model which WILL fit. Further to this I contacted Samsung Customer Support (in the Philippines?) to ask if they might have an appropriate top loader which would fit the space and without the drain outlet on the side. Twice I held on for ages and each time was 'mysteriously' cut-off. The 3rd time I called (Ref. no. 819195832) I was advised that they would call me back soon with an answer..hours later I have not heard from them. I think they haven't got a clue!Similar opinion? Brilliant
I'm speechless at how good this product really is. it surpasses all other products in my opinion. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.
Water level can be adjusted from extremely low to very high. It spins so quietly that it cannot be heard unless you are near it, never goes out of balance, except for one time when we washed several towel ls with sheets.
The two large lint filters very efficiently remove all lint and are very easy to clean.
The tub clean warning indicator is great, but it can be fooled, we had to stop using fabric softened and switch to a good quality liquid detergent, otherwise it indicated tub needed cleaning after a couple of washes.

Reliable And Efficient Machine
This machine is great! I had a front loader which was killing my back being so low on the ground, this machine saves my back and delivers a clean load every time, real value for my money, great warranty, decent size. Does what it's supposed to and good solid construction. Well worth the purchase.

One great Washine Machine
Bought this for my mother (who's in her 70s). She insisted in getting a top loader as she feels she cannot bend down comfortably if we got her a front loader. Bought this in March this year.
This machine hasn't disappointed since getting it. It has double lint filters which work really well and with the controls at the front of the machine, it is easy for my mother to comfortably access the controls. The glass top is a welcome touch.
I'm also surprised how quiet the machine is and if placed well in your laundry, it is well balance smooth when on spin cycle.
My mother loves her hew WM and this validates my decision to get her a Samsung WM despite the major recall issue plaguing Samsung at the moment with one of their WM models.

Lint free
Why is it that whenever a manufacturer comes up with a good product, they discontinue it? This wonderful machine seems to be only available at Masters Hardware for around $880. Having had it for a month so far it is the best machine we have owned. Strips all the lint out of the washing and generally does an excellent job. It replaced a truly horrible LG machine which had no lint collector. The Samsung has two clip in cartridges that need to be cleaned after every load of towels, and are very effective at lint removal. I will try to get spares w...Read more
hile the machine is still being sold, as I expect these cartridges will fail before the rest of the machine. It is quite musical and plays an entire song at the end of every load. Also installation with a side mounted drainage hose with no rear mounted option is a bit clumsy. Other than that, a great machine.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Good washing machine
Had this for 5 months now and great so far - love how lint free my washing is. Replaced a Fisher and Paykel AquaDumb which I hated from day 1 and put up with for seven LOOONG years. Like - very quiet, good range of washes, can rinse only or spin only, does not empty itself if you leave it on pause, hinged lid allows it to open comfortably under the dryer, can leave things to soak for long periods, does not tangle clothes. Only concern is spin speed - does not spin out quite as much water as AquaDumb - but also does not tangle clothes or leave t...Read more
hem covered in lint and scum or sound like a jet coming into land. Amazed at how much lint comes out of washing - need to clean filters at least once a week but this is easy as they sit in the sides of the bowl and you just snap them out, snap them open, take out lint and close and snap them back in.Similar opinion? Awesome machine: love love love it
I've only had it for a week, after my old 6.5kg Simpson died after 15 years. Chose this one for the price, I'm on a tight budget. Got this under $600 from 2nds World - it was a display model and came without a box. Was a tad worried due to the bad press re: Samsung washers igniting. Bought it online, delivered and installed the very next day - 10/10 for 2nds World.
It is massive, I wash every other day. Large loads mostly for a family of 4. Clothes come out squeaky clean, ultra dry...probably because of the air turbo dry option. It's super quiet, simple to operate, lots of wash cycles to choose from....and it sings you a tune at the end of the cycle..lol
It's only early days - but I am super duper happy at the moment.

Fantastic price, brilliant machine!
We purchased this machine from Harvey Norman after reading lots of reviews. Cannot be happier - easy to use, double lint cartridges are the best lint catching design yet. In two seconds it clips out and pull the lint off- clean!
Cycles are great, can customise every setting individually and choose when u want the cycle to finish- can make it quicker or delay for later (between 1-19hours)
Brilliantly quiet, clothes clean,(no need for rewashing like I was with my last machine for mechanics clothes) never any rips/tears.

d over option lid design also allows the lid to open under our shelf that previously restricted this.... Ticked all the boxes plus more! Brilliant! Also got a 4year replacement warranty included with Harvey Norman, prob won't be needing it. This 8.5kg also took up less space than our previous Simpson 7.5kg.Similar opinion? Happy Customer
We have this washing machine since early June15 and so far we are very happy with it. The clothes have no lints on it and they are quite dry after the wash. The fuzzy cycle may be too strong for some clothes so I may need to adjust to different cycle .The clothes do tangle when I use the fuzzy cycle but compares my old Hoover it is much better.

Problems allready, only 12 months old
Needs service technician, and Samsung are trying to get out of paying for it, even though still under warranty. Samsung is the culprit trying to get out of repairing
lint filters, big drum
Button font too small

Samsung WA85F7S6
Have owned for 3 months now.
Washes clothes very well.
Very quiet operation.
Good range of cycles, although fuzzy is the main option for us.
Doesnt take too long to complete a wash.
Spin drys well, even though its not as fast as other machines.
For me, having a bit of a mechanical background, the machine sounds no different in its operation from light loads, through to the heaviest of loads. This points to adequate design and engineering.
Electronics, who knows? Time will tell with this.
So far, so good!
Mike.

Fantastic machine
I only bought this machine today, so I can't offer a super extensive review, but i'll post my findings so far! Mind you, it will still be a novel lol. I am very happy. My ancient Simpson Concorde 507 finally stopped working properly, so I went and bought this snazzy Samsung machine today. My laundry is quite small so finding a good sized machine was always going to be a struggle, as my Simpson Concorde was only a 4.5kg capacity and measured 58cm wide. I have a 45cm dishwasher in my laundry and that together with the old washer was already a snu...Read more
g fit, but this new 8.5kg capacity washer measures 64cm wide and fits in absolutely perfectly, and now my laundry looks super sleek and modern! There is many wash cycles to choose from, and while I briefly skimmed over the manual, I found the settings very easy to figure out. I am a more hands-on trial and error kind of person so I just fiddled with the settings until I settled on ones that suited me instead of studying the manual. The two lint traps in the tub are super easy to remove and clean which was a big thing for me because I am a little obsessive about keeping my washer filter/s clean. It's literally a maximum two minute job to clean them out. The machine also has a tub-clean function which apparently cleans the inaccessible parts of the tub, which is fantastic. It is VERY quiet and twice I had to open the laundry door just to check that it was still going because I couldn't hear it. The tub size is very visually deceptive, it doesn't look a whole lot bigger than my old Concorde's tub, but I am shocked as to how much stuff I can fit into it! Going from 4.5kg to 8.5kg has been a pretty big jump. Overall I adore this machine and I can't fault it!Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Great machine, manual could be a lot better
We have bought this machine early February 2015 and so far so good. Originally we purchased a different Samsung model (9kg) because this one wasn't in stock and we didn't want to wait. Within a day I wished we waited. The 9kg was terrible - very bad wash, used too much water, plenty of lint, and clothes started coming out of the wash with black dots on it. After doing 5 loads of which all were very bad we called The Good Guys and asked if we could return it and order a different model- WA85F7S6DRA The Good Guys were fantastic and organised repl...Read more
acement for us with no fuss, after hearing about the problems that we encountered. We're still testing all different cycles on WA85F7S6DRA and I must admit the manual that comes with the machine is pretty basic and vague. Programs aren't properly described and temperature settings aren't defined in degrees. So far that seems to be the only downside that I can see. Filters are great, clothes come out nice, clean and soft and not entangled. I think maximum spin being low is great for that. The machine is quiet, easy to use and see through lid is greatSimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Great machine and super quite
All good washes really well and is super quite compared to my old Fisher and Paykel. Great looking machine probably a bit big for my needs as you can put so much into it. Looks like I only need to do 1 load a week. Great price as $645 from Bing Lee @ Fairfield West.

Excellent Product. Our clothes have never been cleaner.
We purchased one of these machines after our front loader Electrolux died and we are absolutely wrapped with this machine. The clothes come out much softer and cleaner and there are loads of wash options. I would highly recommend.

Better than F n P
We have been dedicated Fisher and Paykel customers forever but after buying an Aquasmart 2 in August 14 which leaked and left lint on the clothes we had to take the plunge after returning the product. We've only had this machine two weeks but hey guess what, it doesn't leak, and it cleans the clothes, something you can't take for granted anymore apparently. Thanks so much to the fellow reviewers on this page who helped us get to a reliable product. Yes it plays a cool tune when it finishes and the clothes are clean and fresh. Looks like its...Read more
pretty good on water conservation without compromising clean clothes and the wash is completed in less than an hour, essential for our lifestyle. Don't be put off by the slower spin speed of 750 RPM. Its enough to get the clothes ready to go on the line or the dryer. Read in the manual there's an app using the camara on your phone to read the error code and it gives you all the instructions to fix the problem. Not tried that yet but proves there tech savvy. Good one Samsung!! Does a great job.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Great Washing Machine!
We have had this machine for 5 months now and everything seems to be fine at the moment.
We are still experimenting with all the different wash cycles, but my wife likes the "Quick" cycle. That takes around 35 mins to complete.
I usually use the "Fuzzy Logic" cycle. So it does the water level automatically.
I like the fact that it has two lint filters that you can empty. Just the problem is that the softener we use could be making the little holes on the filters blocked. So I have figured out how to clean them effectively now by using our ...Read more

we have a samsung top loader model WA85F7S6 and it is constantly tripping the OB switch even with small loads and takes ages of rearranging the clothes to get through the cycle the bubble is in the middle of the red circle but the bowl seems to sit back about and have checked the actual bowl with a level and it is sitting back not sure if this is normal
