The Spork is excellent!
I've got the Sea to Summit Titanium 'Spork' as I've managed to leave home without utensils when going away either on a road trip or interstate. The spork folds in half and is quiet manageable as it folds quiet flat and has no sharp edges or points to catch or rip a bag or your pocket...
The advantage of it being Titanium is that you can wash it and forget, or even forget to wash it and it'll remain rust free for life (and many many many others to come), titanium in about 30% stronger than high carbon steel / Cro-Molly steel and is lighter an...Read more
d completely corrosion resistant so its perfect for any sort of miss guided adventure into any terrain! I have hung it off my backpack via a small caribiner and its been bashed around the place, been in the glove box of the car many a time and gone to work and used as a teaspoon for yoghurt and managed to be lost at the bottom of a industrial dishwasher for a week and survived completely unharmed from about 100 cycles! Just give it a rinse and your good to eat quick meals or whatever you take with you wherever you go; the most important thing with camping, road tripping or going overseas is having good eating utensils, nothing worse than eating mushy foods with your fingers or a dirty / rusty spoon / fork - or someone else's utensils with questionable washing standards! Being made from Titanium its well worth spending the couple of dollars more and getting something stronger than the Aluminium cutlery that is made by Sea to Summit, as Aluminium will eventually burn if left in a flame, bend & crack / snap and eventually corrode if left in contact with stainless steel cookware - and the anodising will wear out; in which aluminium has been linked to Alzheimer's disease in some reports... Your pretty safe with the Sea to Summit Titanium cutlery - I just wish I could get the folding spoon and knife to make a set for my adventures while out and about... STRONG! lightweight, great price, great feel in the hand, completely corrosion proof - you'll pass this onto your kids, and their kids etc Nil - just make sure you engrave your name on it so your mates dont try stealing it when your not looking!Similar opinion?
