Very stressful experience
A disaster from start to finish. They got plan wrong and made mistakes at every part of the job. I ended up with a kitchen very different to what the plan was because of their measuring mistake. No apologies and became threatening when I said I would report them.

From start to finish a new kitchen in one week!
We chose the IKEA style kitchen we wanted, Sentup measured our kitchen space, wrote up what fitted and a plan. From start to finish Sentup team ripped out old kitchen, rendered, installed new kitchen, did tiling and all electrical and plumbing work in just one week. Excellent team and new kitchen looks great.

Sent up were great to work with
I found Sent up great to deal with. Nothing was a problem. Steven was very helpful in the design for my small kitchen and Luke did a fantastic job installing it. I would recommend and use Sent up for my next kitchen.

- Sentup - Avoid this company
What was supposed to be a 5-day kitchen installation took 3 months. An absolute nightmare to deal with as all their workers are sub-contractors and the business owners came up with a myriad of excuses why the work was not being done. They clearly lack sufficient subcontractors to adequately service the work referred to them by Ikea.

Very professional
I had my ikea kitchen designed and installed by Sentup. The design process was fast and easy. A couple of minor flaws. I wanted a drawer dishwasher and was told the make and model number that would fit the ikea cabinets. However when installed there was a large gap between counter top and top of dishwasher. The installer was great and suggested I purchase a drawer front. He cut it to size and closed the gap. The other issue I found was that the oven I bought also had similar issue though not as large. Sentup sent out a installer but unfortunat...Read more
ely this wasn’t able to be fixed. This is due to appliances not being from ikea. This is the only negative. Ikea should advise this when purchasing a kitchen and the Sentup designer should have advised as well. That being said, Sentup office staff are fantastic and extremely helpful with my questions and concerns. The installer Marek was fantastic and the other trades they sent for the job where professional and punctual. I would definitely recommend them. Just keep in mind that if you purchase s Ikeas kitchen, you’ll need to buy there appliances. I love my new kitchen.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Think twice before you deal with Sentup
I was not careful enough to search the review before I used Sent Up The planner is professional but not very detail. basically, I designed my kitchen and adjusted to Ikea, not him. I missed many things such as
1. We have to add $185 extra cost on the spot because the installer cannot hang the cabinet because there is a sliding door behind the wall. The planner should know and aware before because we discuss if we need to close the door and build a cabinet instead of having a sliding door. I didn't have any choice for not adding that addit...Read more

Superb Sentup communication
Sentup has been incredibly helpful through our difficult renovation. Our 160+yr old apartment has thrown a few side-balls at us and the Sentup team managed the changes well. We had a tight budget and additional services required associated with a larger renovation. The Sentup trade staff were able to help out and do the extra work without us having to source additional trades.
Staff and contractors have been a joy to talk to. Communication has been prompt, responsive and flexible. I would recommend the team at Sentup to anybody looking for he...Read more
lp in a renovation. They provide a project management role whilst works are being done on site. We even had the luck of one of their team checking progress when we couldn't attend site. Incredibly happy with their service so far and looking forward to getting part two installation work done and completed with no hassle. Great work team. You have one extremely happy customer who will call you when we renovate again in future. Thank you for making our first renovation as easy as possible.Similar opinion? IKEA should think twice about recommending Sentup as installers - I would NOT recommend at all!
Planning and purchasing was fine but I was not impressed about the overall service. Once they got my 50% downpayment, it Sentup did not seem to be interested in providing a good service. I was not informed of a change in schedule - they just scheduled as they wished and by that time, you can't do anything.
The installer did not want to make extra holes as requested or did not communicate where shelves should be. The kickboard was left on a slant and a bit of concrete was showing as he did not correctly adjust where the cabinet feet should b...Read more
e. I have to get a handyman to fix the issue as they don't want to know about it. Filter was not installed and following up was painful - no refund when they said they re-funded. For the amount of money they charge, I would expect good service overall. Very disappointing!Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Hard Experience with Sentup
What was supposed to take three weeks to renovate my kitchen with Ikea products, took EIGHT weeks with many issues. Much of this is the way Australia has deregulated the tradesmen industry. Companies have no need to hire tradesmen as staff, train them to work in occupied residences (disposable booties for shoes when entering homes; respect; willingness in going the extra mile; complying with occupational safety hazard standards; etc.). There are too many contractors of contractors of contractors of contractors = no accountability and arrogance....Read more
Nevertheless, I am sure that to gain integrity and professionalism, it is worth a company actually recruiting its staff and training them in the more refined art of working in homes. 1. Sentup Planner was good but stipulated I could not have lower top cupboards as standard was 60cms from benchtop. Found out from Ikea later that this was not the case AFTER placement of top cupboards. According to Ikea, I could have had the cupboards at any height I wished. 2. Liaison/project coordinator excellent. 3. Tradesmen were too numerous (one was off sick and replaced by inept and lazy ones) and all except one were boorish, grudging, and ultimately did various shoddy jobs. They provided no ground covering (I had to provide my own and they unwillingly shook out the debris later) and had no respect for an inhabited home. 4. Tradies do not know how to distinguish between working on a construction site and an inhabited home; drilling of concrete for additional electrical outlets led to dangerous concrete (silica) dust all over home as kitchen was not isolated according to NSW Occupational Hazard Standards. Kitchen entrance should have been covered with either thick plastic or wet cloth to gather dust. 5. Top cupboards were misaligned. Sentup refused at first to recognize this until Ikea set up a formal Resolution Case when I complained, at which point Sentup sent their Operations Manager to remeasure and admit cupboards were not aligned properly for splashback to be installed and various other issues. 6. Tradesman took out a skirting board which, according to the plan he had, should not have been taken out. Sentup did replace it at no cost under the Ikea Resolution Case, but it was wrong color and I had to paint it myself. 7. Once splashback was finally installed post repositioning of top cupboards, large gap was left to be siliconed due to Sentup not having accurately placed filler column between cupboard and window. After previous issues, Sentup willingly and immediately returned to fix the issue and fill the gap with silicon. However, in the process and unbeknown to me, a small white bowl of mine from a cupboard next to the gap was apparently used to mix the silicone. I never found it again (not only had I not been asked for a container; it was stolen!). I am the only one in the apartment! 8. Sentup then arrogantly stated, one day after the job was done, tha I had not paid the final installment when I had simply asked for a negotiated price due to the inconveniences. I was sent a threat of being referred to debt collectors. Furthermore, I was sent two erroneous invoices that belonged to another client!Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
