I borrowed my mums to clean out my new house grout. The difference was amazing, the grout was black when i moved in now it's almost the original colour.

One thing i will bring up is that the pressure of the steam is constantly fluctuating through a cleaning session.
Apart from that amazing product so far.

After two uses I can't get assessory off the hose. Try to google on how and have to replace it. Not happy cost me 200$ for two uses. How did it get stuck and does anyone know how to get it off without costing me money

I would like to know how to get 2 long hoses for the big pocket as mine is struck and I can get off so I carnt put the long round pocket on

I bought the Shark Portable Steam Pocket because I was so impressed with the advert. Well it does not work like it shows on TV, I could do the showers with ordinary dishwashing liquid and it does a better job and it is much quicker too. It didn't shift the mould either. I sent it back. I personally would not recommend it.

I had to obtain a replacement extension hose for my Shark Portable Steam Pocket, as it would not stay connected, and would pop off in use, from the pressure of the steam, I dont know how it got damaged, however maybe just general use every week, for the last three years, I found the customer service friendly and quick to replace the part. Back in use and I am still happy and highly recommend any Shark product.

fantastic at sanitising bed linen, pillows and upholsetery - because i am allergic to dust mites, this was the main reason for purchasing the product. It is also great at dusting with all the attachements.

If you want to buy it for direct cleaning, don't bother - it does a very poor job at grout cleaning and around the taps, it just isn't powerful enough.

I am still giving it five stars as it suits my purpose.

Love the shark portable cleaner. A bit disappointed with the company as I sent them an e-mail three weeks ago as I need a spare part and had no response but cleaner is great as I have had it over 12mths and have been renovating the house

I had previously bought a piraña steam cleaner from KMart that worked better than this product. What a waist if money. Would never buy another Shark product.

This is a really good product. Cleans and sanitizers with out the need to use chemicals. My house is now completley chemical free and smells so fresh. I find it very quick to use, I can clean the whole kitchen with one pad. Just start with the cleaner surfaces first and move to the dirtier ones latter. I read other reviews about how using a cloth and water is quicker, well using cloth and water does not kill bacteria which is what this is designed to do. It will easily clean up stains but for caked on things it maytake a couple of times scrubbing with the pad to lift.

Cleans all surfaces very well but the grount cleaner is time consuming.

Have had this for a few months now. Total con. It takes so much time to clean anything with it. Much quicker with a cloth. I was hoping for chemical free cleaning. Even with the nozzle close to the surface to be cleaned it still took a a lot of time to get any result.

Sounds great but I was very disappointed. I followed directions but found it did very little on my oven even after trying for quite some time. Can't use it on my bench tops (they're laminate) then tried it in my shower and cracked the glass. I've since discovered Norwex products .Best thing I've ever bought!

poor job, easy to cause damage

I bought one of these and then got another free when I got the pocket mop. It is an excellent product that delivers on its promises. I have also got the Shark Navigator (Which I gave to my parents and got the pro model). They seem to be on the ball with the stuff they are pumping out. The Portable Steam pocket is my go to for cleaning in the Kitchen and the Bathroom. I like the way that it isn't TOO heavy and it produces constant steam unlike cheaper ones I've had that spray a lot of water.

My only gripe would be that I'd like a longer cord. I think including the bag to keep everything in is a small but appreciated gesture.

Purchased this item on a Saturday from Harvey Norman. Started to use it, and then went to change the wand. Can not unlock to remove the existing wand. Also, I agree with the other review that you need to have both hands to use this machine. You need one to press the buttom to release the steam and the other to hold and guide the wand. Whilst it does clean, there are issues with the release of the wand and its locking device. It is also a pain to not have the steam buttom on the wand. And maybe a much longer hose please.
