Worked a treat
Perfect for local and international calls and data use which enabled us to keep friends and family updated on our travels. Only downside was some random calls from Detroit etc

Excellent product. Very convenient.
Highly recommend. Bought the Sim for New Zealand. Ordered it online via Express post and received it the next day. I put it in my second sim slot on my phone, followed the instructions when we got there and it was a lifesaver. Will certainly be purchasing it for our trip to Europe next year. Highly recommend this product.

Awesome customer service and great simcard for the EU
The customer service was amazing and any time I had any issues, I'd get a quick reply. The service itself was great, travelling across Europe, I had no issues with reception at all.
Do yourself a favour and save the hassle of buying a simcard at the Airport, Simsdirect is all you need and for great value. Would definitely recommend !!

Outstanding except for some remote areas. For peace of mind and to hit the ground running don't leave home without it. Support with some tech loading issues was first class...thanks SimsDirect!

Rubbish, dont risk it!
Bought a simsdirect sim to use as soon as I stepped off the plane in London and nothing, zip, wouldnt connect! I had to go to an EE store and buy another sim (that worked as it should have!) - losing hours of my first day and unable to make important calls on arrival in London ...not happy.

I'm really sorry to hear about your poor experience with the SIM - losing time sorting out issues is the last thing you want whilst on holiday! Unfortunately our SIMs are technical products, so sometimes they require a lil bit of troubleshooting (like a change of settings or a restart) to get them up and running! At other times, the SIM can be faulty, which is frustrating for you and me both! In any case, since you weren't able to use your SIM, wed be happy to discuss a refund with you. We have a money back guarantee for this very reason - to protect our customers from poor experience. Please reach out to us at [email protected] and we can sort out a refund for you. :) Cheers, VanesaSimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Soo easy
The process is very easy. When we landed at Heathrow we went to a cafe to have a coffee and just popped the SIMs into our phones and after a restart they were ready to go within 5 minutes. 3 sent out texts with clear directions on how to get the process started. The data SIM was perfect for using google maps as sat nav and still plenty left over for web searches etc. I would recommend this to all travellers.

A product that works great
The SIM card worked great from the moment we rebooted the phone. It handled gps, Facebook, maps and phone calls as described. It just takes the hassle out getting connected in a foreign country straight up.

A Must For China
We were two couples touring China in a group of forty, and we were the only ones in that group who were using a Sims Direct card.
Firstly, by removing our normal sim card, any thoughts of being hit with a roaming fee or any other hidden charge when we got home was eliminated and any cost would only be incurred by the Pre Paid Sim Direct card, so we placed all of our hopes on this card.
After arriving in China, we swapped Sim Cards and booted up an iphone and ipad with instant success. For the entire 11 days we experienced great signal strength ...Read more

Easy to Use, Worked Perfectly!
There were easy instructions and the SIMs worked straight away. We purchased 2 SIM cards each just in case we used heaps of data, but even using Google Maps, Messenger services and all other apps on our phone, we barely used 2 of 12GB! Best part is that we have spares for our next trip to Europe because they dont expire until you activate them in country thanks SimsDirect!

Hardly worked!
I purchased a Simsdirect SIM USA card as well a SIMCORNER USA card. The main reason I purchased the SIMdirect card was so I could call home to Australia although I also wanted a backup data card. It was next to useless. Even when I had a good signal in the big towns and cities I still could not make a decent call. I did try but gave up after making only one worthwhile call. The SIMCORNER card did not offer free calls to Australia although it worked much better with voice calls via the WhatsApp and Messenger etc. I could not recommend the USA SIM card from SIMdirect. It is hard to rate any of the categories below other than one out of five as it simply did not work.

Easy to use. Great coverage
SIM arrived promptly, within a couple of days. Set up was really easy. Basically plug in and go. Almost perfect coverage throughout France, Italy and Hungary. There was probably only one day I had a few issues with coverage travelling from Pompeii back to Rome. We had wi-fi at most accommodation so 12GB was ample for 18 days of checking social media and emails, maps, downloading the odd Netflix show and uploading photos.

Easy to Use and great coverage
Used throughout Vietnam. Good coverage and more than enough data included. Great to be able to insert and start using at airport to help locate hotel rather than buying a sim card in Vietnam.

Worked brilliantly, easy activation
Used in Finland, Estonia And Italy for 30 days without any problems whatsoever. To arrive at an airport or train station and see the long lines at provider stores made it even more worthwhile.
Used only 2GB out of 12, however used free WiFi regularly.
Great initiative to be organised before even leaving Australia.
Thoroughly recommend.

New Zealand Travel SIM Card 10GB 30 Days
It was a simple process when I landed in New Zealand I swapped over to the the travel sim on my phone and I was connected within minutes to the local 2 degrees network which is one of the main telcos in New Zealand. Great reception and coverage around the main towns in New Zealand. Some areas in New Zealand have no network coverage for any of the local providers so make sure you download offline maps of your route to your destination before you hit the road. Otherwise make sure your car has a GPS so that you don't get lost. Otherwise the service is very good for this travel sim. Would highly recommend getting one if your travelling to NZ.

Great customer service
Was very easy to set up and use. No problems at all. Had great service. Would definitely get again.
My Sim still had not arrived a couple of days before I was leaving. (Australia Post couldnt located it even with a tracking number) I contacted SimsDirect who sent another one express post which arrived the next day. Great customer service.

Worked seamlessly
International roaming was going to be very expensive so I looked at my alternatives; I chose this SIM after reading many positive reviews and the fact that it had a built-in VPN (saving me time, money and one less step). I changed my SIM on the first day in China and it worked straight away. It was a data only SIM and found for my 28 days the 3GB lasted and I still had data remaining. The VPN meant I could use google internet and check my gmail and whatsapp. The fact that the SIM is data only was fine as nearly all of China and Tibet communicat...Read more

Sue H.asked
We are heading to Russia, Baltic’s and down through Vienna Dubrovnik and Turkey in late April. Do these work there? If I purchase now can I wait to activate them when we leave Sydney on 21/4/2020?

Hi Sue, you can purchase them now and you can only activate once you arrive in Europe. here is the link to their website which list where they work. https://simsdirect.com.au/?msclkid=d18e1947fce016b94813470db130e9dd
Viki W.asked
I will be travelling in the UK and Europe for two months starting in late May. For my phone I will need two 30 day SIM cards. From the information I assume this means I will be using two separate phone numbers. Is there any way of simplifying this process? Thanks, Viki

Hi, I can see the issue that you may be facing but I'm not sure of the answer. Best to contact Vanessa or Supriti who are the owners of this company. They were terrific when I first purchased the sim cards and again when I had a question while on holiday in NZ. I'm sure they will answer your question asap when you send an email to them. I found the following info in an email they sent to me:
How do I top-up if I run out of data or days?
Most of our SIMs cannot be topped up or extended. We'd recommend grabbing an extra SIM to make sure you're covered for your full trip!
Happy and safe travels!
Thanks Ken!

I am travelling through Spain doing the Camino. What will the coverage be like with htis SIM in the small villages throughout Spain?
1 answer
Hi Rustyj,
It worked really well for me in the places that I travelled to (Venice, coastal towns of Croatia and Greece, all of Israel, and Iceland), but I did not go to Spain, so I can't really comment on coverage for the Camino walk.

I've tried to track down your interaction with our support team but I can't seem to find any record in our system - not too sure if you contacted us or the network provider.
