The number one must-have for a new mum!!
The best thing you could buy for your sanity and your back! $20 second hand on gumtree and worth 5 times the amount! I am reluctant to wash it because I can't do without it for a day for it to dry!! Haha. Just need to practice a few times putting it on (YouTube is great) and it's quickly your best friend!!

I can never work it
I bought this when my baby was newborn, but I haven't really used it because even after trying MANY MANY times, I can never get it to support his weight properly, and it quickly becomes uncomfortable for either one of us. I love the generosity of the wrap, and the fabric is lovely and breathable. If I could get it to wrap nicely on me I would love it! I am much happier with my Baby Bjorn One carrier.

Not sure of quality
I loved my boba wrap with my newborn, but it was quite thick and my daughter and I got hot so easily.
After prolonged use, a small hole appeared next to the label and made me quite suspicious of the quality of this wrap. Googled it and found it to be quite a common problem. Next time I may buy something made in countries other than China.

Loved it!
I bought this wrap with a soft carrier as a combo pack (was originally interested on the carrier, but used the wrap more).
I loved it. It was comfortable for both myself and my son, He loved being in it and would settle straight away.
It takes a few times to get it right (needs to be tight to hold the baby, otherwise it will sag), but definitely worth it.
Comfortable, light, baby loves it. Easy to clean.
Can take a bit of practice to put it on.

Invaluable for newborns
This wrap is so supportive and snuggly for mum & baby, particularly for newborns. It was easy to tie and slid baby into, the insturctions are great and I looked up lots of youtube videos to see what other mums where doing too, including breastfeeding in it. It takes a couple of tries to get the tension right as baby will slide down a little once they relax and fall asleep. When my son fell asleep I would put the shoulder strap over the side and back of his head to support his neck. My baby was a difficult sleeper for the first five months and h...Read more
e usually slept better when in this than in his cot. I loved using it so much it's what I usually give as a baby shower gift now, they should give one of these to every new mum. Very supportive and snuggly for newborns. Easy to tie and put baby in. Can be warm in summer, dress you and baby in one less layer than you normally wouldSimilar opinion? Comfortable and supportive for baby and wearer
I love this wrap! Best $50 I've spent on baby stuff. I bought this after struggling with the mini monkey and reading rave reviews here, and was not disappointed. It looks complicated, but the instructions are really easy to follow and I had my newborn in the perfect position from the first attempt. You just have to make sure it's on nice and tight or the baby will slowly slide down!
My baby settles quickly and happily sleeps on me all day in the wrap. His head is well supported, so I have 2 hands free to get on with other stuff. Both my hus...Read more
band and I were getting back pain from wearing bubs, but this wrap spreads weight evenly and feels super comfy and supportive. The material is quite thick but I've been wearing it in summer without too much grief, I just dress the baby in one less layer. Super comfortable and supportive for baby and wearer, great value, easy to useSimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Top of the must buys
I happen to buy the sleepy wrap by chance not knowing whether I would use it or not. I got it out when bub was 3 weeks old, after watching a you tube vid on how to wrap it. Tucked bub in and he was asleep within minutes. Unbelievably comfortable for both of us. I feel like bub is more secure and with the fabric feel he's closer to me and can easily feel his movements.
Comfort, washable & compact
Saggy if you don't wrap it well enough. That's more user error than product fault though

a must have
I love this wrap, easy to use, supportive, comfortable and versatile. My baby loves it. Has worked well from birth to 6 months. He is getting a bit heavy for it now as the stretch sags a bit too much and too quickly.
Having him in this sling means if he wants to sit up and interact he can, or he can snuggle in.
Forward facing bub wasn't so good for me due to the weight distribution.
Overall fantastatic, couldn't have done without.
very comfortable, versatile and affordable
bub loved it so much it was hard for me to get him to sleep elsewhere.

Best baby carrier ever
Best baby carrier ever. Baby is comfortable and snug. I can wear this carrier for a couple of hours without being uncomfortable at all and has a few different ways to carry bubs. Machine washable and very simple to use. This carrier/wrap comes in various different colors and is very affordable.
Comfort
Can be a little warm in summer

Great for new bubs
I love my sleepy wrap. used it for the first 4 months everywhere, then bub started to get heavy. Now she's 6 months & I try not to use any carrier on my front because of the weight. Haven't found one that I would use past 6 months - but that might just be me.
very cheap at $30
hard to get used to putting it on, but very easy once you know how.

Wonderful entry level wrap
An amazing way to be close to your baby. I love mine and use it all the time. As bub grows we have moved on to a more supportive wrap, but the sleepy wrap is an old favourite, easy to use for quick short trips, particularly because u can pre tie the wrap and just slip bub in.
Cheap, comfortable, bub goes to sleep quickly
Stretch means its not so great for long wears - tends to sag a little

I use mine everyday!
I had a traditional baby carrier with straps and buckles. I likes being able to carry my newborn around but I found his head wasn't really supported and I had to always have one hand supporting him. When I saw domeone wearing a sleepy wrap I asked her about it. What I noticed was how snug her baby seemed and how comfy it tooked to wear. I bought my first sleepy wrap that day. Since then I've bought a second wrap so when I wash one, I still have the other. I love the versatility of this wrap, from a newborn hammock hold to a toddler hip carry. ...Read more
Its easy to tie and I like to tie mine on before I leave the house so I can just slip him in. I use it for shopping instrad of navigating a pram through the isles, I use it while I prepare dinner, hang washing, do all manner of chores. My baby loves being in it and I love having him close but still having free hands. Its even useful if you're breastfeeding in public places as it acts as a cover. I wouldn't be without this product. Great colour choice, easy to use, washes well, cheap, comfortable to wear, comfortable for baby, versatile. May be a bit hot in summerSimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Fantastic
I would recommend the Sleepy Wrap to everyone. A little tricky to get used to tying it initially but after a few times it's quite simple. The wrap is very supportive for bubs, so comfortable to wear and seems very comfy for bubs as he always falls asleep when he's in it.
Comfy, simple, compact to store or take out and about

Perfect for me and my little man
This wrap is perfect for when i need to quickly go to the shops for some milk or bread. It saves me from trying to deal with a very heavy pram and a crying baby. I also use it at home when bubs seems unsettled and I can continue cleaning or cooking.
Good for my back and very comfortable for my baby. He falls asleep as soon as he is in it.

Most comfortable wrap
For my first baby i was given a bubba moe sling and it was so uncomfortable. When I found out I was pregnant with my second I was determined to find something I could wear for long periods at a time and something that my baby will be comfortable in. When I saw the sleepy wrap I was intrigued and I loved how snug the baby was inside. When I finally had my little girl I bought a sleepy wrap and tried it out for a family outing in the city. It was so comfortable and I could wear it for a long period of time. My baby was so comfortable and with her...Read more

Saved my life for the first 8 weeks!
I no longer use our sleepy wrap as being in the middle of summer my baby gets too hot and he already is prone to heat rash as it is. However it was the best $60 i have spent as it really did save me in the first 8 weeks as my little man was extremely fussy, always wanted to be held and cried furiously if I tried to put him down. We tried everything- electrical swing, bouncer, walks in the pram, car rides, warm bath, massage but the sleepy wrap seemed to be the only thing to settle him down. Later we did find out that he was suffering from acid ...Read more
reflux, so obviously the warmth of my body and closeness was soothing to him. I wore it for weeks, even when I was sleeping just in case he woke up hysterical (which did happen), unless it was in the wash! Also moving houses when he was 3 weeks old, would have been impossible without the sleepy wrap as I was able to have my hands free and a happy quiet baby all at once. I have never tried any other baby carriers so I do not have anything to compare the sleepy wrap to, but it is unbelievably comfortable to wear. The only con, is that it does take a little while to tie up and to know how tightly to tie it so that bubs is in there securely but comfortably. Another con could be, when I was out with baby in the sleepy wrap I got A LOT of stares, attention and even people walking up to me to see what was inside! I didn't mind as I love to show off my little man and just ignored the stares, but if you do mind then just be aware of this when you use the sleepy wrap while out. Another potential con, is due to the 'feminine' look, my husband refuses to wear it. If your hubby is like this, then you will have to either give the sleepy wrap a miss or buy another one as well just for him. The only thing i regret is not investing and buying two, as when one is in the wash you have a spare. I made the mistake of not doing that and it is quite stressful when it didn't dry in time (I don't have a dryer) and baby was being fussy. All in all, I love my sleepy wrap and have already recommended it to all my friends. Now I know what to buy for the next baby shower I go to. Soothing to a fussy baby and comfortable More effort and longer to tie and you get stares from people when out1 comment

w comfy bub looked and many people asked where I got it from! I also stopped using it so much in summer because it was quite warm, although I did put her in it forward facing when we went looking at Christmas lights because it was a bit cooler that night. The BEST thing I have bought so far for my baby
Although it can take a while to put this on properly and quickly, it was amazing. I have a colicky baby with bad reflux. He screamed and screamed on end from week 3 until week 6 when we discovered the sleepy wrap. He went to sleep within 5 mins and it has worked everytime. Can not recommend this highly enough. Washes very easily - just pop in the machine - and if you are like us and can't wait for it to dry on the line - it doen't shrink or damage in the dryer. I got a male / femal nutral colour - grey but comes if heaps of colours. Costs $45...Read more
delivered - cheaper than hug-a-bub and more comfortable in my opinion. Can not rate this highly enough. Very reliable to get bubs to calm down and sleep. It is really comfortable to ar - even if you have a large 5kg baby at birth. it can get quite hot in summer but for winter - it was nice and toastySimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Great wrap - essential item with a newborn!
I bought this second hand ($20) after ready some good reviews - chose it over the hug a bub as it seemed to do the same sort of thing at a much cheaper price. Many times when nothing else would settle bub she'd fall asleep within moments of going in this and sometimes sleep for hours! Loved that I could still do other things while wearing it as I had my hands free.
Not too expensive, comfortable for baby, easy to clean
Learning to tie it (but didn't take long), only really used for 1st six weeks, not suitable now baby is heavier. Gets hot after a while.

Sleepy Wrap - Love it!
I bought this when my baby was 7 months and had a bad flu. It was perfect as he wanted to stay with me constantly and I was able to pop him in and continue working as both hands are free. I could also breastfeed with him in it and use it when he has trouble falling asleep and also when we are out. Very comfortable, easy to wear once you learn how, offers great support and still use it now that my baby is nearly 1 year old. I wish I had this from the time he was born. Highly recommend it and far less expensive than hug a bub.

How do you use the baby wrap therefore I don't have instructions how to do so.
3 answers
It doesn't come with instructions. I found a tutorial on YouTube. It's a two part video and I had to watch it 20 times before I got it down pat. It's easy after that though. Search sleepy wrap on YouTube. The video I watch is called "EASY Sleepywrap (baby wrap) Instructions but there are a heap on there. Hope this helps.
I did the same as above. YouTube is full of videos of parents putting babies in wraps! I recommend practising with a doll first :-)
Ditto, I had the instructions and found YouTube gave me more detail & different ways to wrap.
