We use wood fired heating only to heat our house. We choose good, dry wood and add a smart burn at the beginning of the season. Glass is noticeably cleaner, wood burns cleaner and leaves less ash to clean up. Our chimney is cleaned regularly and our man who does it is always impressed how clean is our flue after months of constant use.

we are using less wood and dont see as much smoke we cleaned our flue before we started to burn in 2018 and when we stopped at the end of 2018 we had our flue checked and it was still clean i will get it checked again after we stop burning in 2022

we have been using the smart burn devices for three years now and find they are so efficient. our chimney sweep who comes to clean chimney before we start lighting the fire does not believe we haven't already cleaned it. it is great. the front glass is always clean and when fire is going all the other chimneys are blowing out smoke but ours has just a heat wave with no smoke at all. they are so efficient it is amazing. would not be without these and i believe they should be made compulsory for all fires.

I purchased a smart burn in 2018 to see if I could stop the build up of creosote in the chimney as the wood heater was smoking inside the house.
After a short time I couldn’t believe the difference as the smoking problem stopped and and no more creosote dripping on the tiled roof.
The next 2 things that happened was my glass cleared and the most remarkable event was the extra time each block of wood burnt for which was stated in the information on the leaflet ( which I didn’t believe) until I witnessed it actually happen.
I have now purchased my second smart burn with the first actually lasting just over 4 months.
I would highly recommend this product and I have informed others about the product and they to were amazed with the results.

A great firebox and chimney cleaner. Had much better drawing within an hour of putting it in the fire. Also cleaned the glass within minutes! Will be using this again!

I professionally clean slow combustion flues for a living and these devices do not work and should be investigated as a scam. Pleased to forward proof photographic they don't work

Since we started using SmartBurn a number of years, we have had a cleaner chimney flue, virtually free of soot, as well as less ash in the firebox. We rarely need to clean the glass in the front of firebox since installing one in the firebox.

I am a long time user of Smartburn, ever since it arrived on the market. This is because it saves me having to shut down my heater during the winter in order to remove large quantities of soot from the flu, plus we rarely need to clean heater window. We have used SmartBurn since seeing it on TV. We have solar panels on our roof and we never have to clean off debris from our chimney smoke like we used to. Our fire box is much easier to clean as there is very little build up on the exchange unit at the back. Overall cleaning in general is easier since using SmartBurn. There is also a noticeable difference in how well the wood burns with little smoke and the ash produced is finer. Since using SmartBurn we haven't replaced our chimney cap or had to have our flue cleaned beyond normal maintenance. We enjoy the warmth of our fire as the winters here can be very cold and long so SmartBurn is a regular part of it.

Our family have been using SmartBurn since it first advertised several years ago. We continue to purchase it because it works! Why wouldn't you use a product that saves time and most importantly effort. Cleaning our tile fire glass was an onerous and frequent task prior to using SmartBurn. Now we enjoy watching our fire through clear glass and when it does require cleaning it's less often and much easier. We've purchased many products we've seen advertised making claims which haven't proven to work, but SmartBurn definitely lives up to all it claims to do. We wouldn't start our winter heating without a new SmartBurn every time.

Definitely helps to keep the chimney clean.We use our firebox for 14-16 weeks each year,and it was 4 years before the chimney needed cleaning.Because of difficulty buying smart burns locally,we stopped using them,and had to clean the chimney at the end of each winter-and it did need cleaning.And for the initial 4 year period,we used inferior/less aged wood than we do now.The glass door also remains much cleaner.
