We are very happy with Smart Burn. It has certainly cut down on the smoke that is coming out of our chimney, it keeps the front glass clean and there has been a reduction in the use of wood.

I think this product does exactly what is says it does. We had our first one last winter and I have just ordered another. As suggested I sat it on a fire brick just in side the fire box the glass stayed much cleaner and the burn longer.

I've been using this since when the item was first introduced, usually 2/winter. So I overbought every year & now I've one left fr last year. So far, there's too much ash left over & burning is not as clean as previous years. Is it because I've kept the item for too long? Don't know but I've just bought another which I will use in couple of months.....hope the new one will burn cleaner.

I have been using smart burn for 6 years now and i get the chimney swept when my air conditioner gets put to bed every winter (its a evaporated swamp box on the roof ) we would be lucky to get a hand full of soot out of the flue every time a great Australian product and i fully recommend it.

I have recently had my downstairs flooded and two smart burn units were water logged. My son said you will have to throw them...NO let me try to dry them out first. I left them in the sunshine for a few weeks and last night I lit the fire. The glass door did have some marks and I thought I will clean that tomorrow. Last year I purchased a Smartburn unit for my woodheater and found it very good. Very little flu cleaning needed but the glass still gets dirty,possibly because I don't have the fire blazing very often. I have ordered two more as I think it is quite a good invention.

flue seems to remain soot free saving me time in cleaning, glass still gets stained but not as bad. Have used the product now for four years and will continue. I purchased online this year and found it an esy proceedure and delivery was quick.

Seem to work reasonably well although glass stil gets dirty and needs to be cleaned when fire had gone out and fire box is cold before next fire. Still find I need to clean chimney out as best I can at the start of each winter season.

Cleans my wood heater glass and chimney. I used to use those round chimney sweepers and get covered in dust. Smart burn cleans it all without leaving my seat. This product really works although a little expensive it works and saves time, it also last me a whole winter. And I stay clean!

I find the smart burn very effective, the fire box stays cleaner and the front glass remains much cleaner than without the smart burn. There is a constant heat even when the fire starts to die down. Have recommended the smart burn to friends.

I had been looking forward to finally giving SmartBurn a try and with all the hype it had a lot to live up to but I am absolutely stoked to say that it definitely works. Within a couple of weeks it had done everything as promised, cleaned the flu, cleaned the glass etc. I could even notice more heat output and less wood actually going on to the fire. Have been using Smartburn for several years. First used in an old Schooner wood fire, then in my new efficient wood burner. When the old one was removed the installer commented on what great condition the flue was in. Glass in the new fire stays clean and I get great heat from the wood I burn.
