Ive tried to set these scales and they tell me I weigh 180kg - which is baloney!
Then I keep getting the error message -------- which tells me I'm too heavy for the scales.
So not a happy consumer :(
Absolute Rubbish
I bought the Soehnle Signal F3 from Myer and it is completely unreliable and a complete con. The weight for starters shows me and my partner as weighing almost 1kg more than three other scales we have. Our old scales are very good brands and are very accurate but are very old now so we wanted a newer more stylish one.
Well I tested the new scales and firstly the weight was about 1 kg over, but the fat and water measure are an absolute con and completely inaccurate. What I did was a simple test. First I recorded all readings, then I drank 60
... Read more0 ml bottle of water and my weight went up close to 500mg which is to be expected but my fat measure actually went up by a little which is ridiculous and my water actually went down. Then I again drank another 600ml bottle of water so 1.2litres in total of plain water and yet again my fat reading went up a little more and my water measure again went down a little. So then after drinking 1.2 litres of water my weight went up by the weight of the water which is as it should be, but the fat measure went up which is ridiculous and even more ridiculous was my water content which I dramatically increased by drinking 1.2litres as a test and the reading measure reduced. How ridiculous and very inaccurate and completely inaccurate so these so called body balance additional features are just a false gimmick to sell overpriced scales that are not even accurate for weight let alone any body balance measurements. So my advice is save your money this scale is a big con and a complete waste of time!!!
Perfect and easy to use!
My last scales were a Tanita, which are fabulous (and expensive) and has all the frills, the only thing was I only really need the body fat and weight component on the scales and not all the other additional info like calories, muscle mass etc. So when my Tanita broke I bought the Soehnle Signal F3 scales for a very reasonable price!! They are perfect and functional measures body fat, weight and water percentage. Very reliable measurements. My only complaint and it is a small one is that I wish this was in a slim design, it is just a tad bulky.
Reliable, affordable and easy to use.
A little bulky. A slimline design would be perfect to store away or if scales need to be moved.
