I'm so pleased I used Solomon's Flooring Tuggeranong (ACT) to re-carpet the majority of my townhouse recently. The townhouse layout includes stairs, lots of fiddly corners and is, I suspect, a carpet fitter's nightmare. The total experience was great from sales to carpet fitting. The job was done in the time frame promised, there was no mess, no fuss and I'm extremely happy with the outcome. I've recommended the franchisee and his team to many of my friends and acquaintances - and will continue to do so.

I carpeted my house 10 years ago using George and Solomons carpets at Willoughby. I was so pleased with the service and professional help then, that I decided to go straight back to them when I was re-carpeting recently. I was really happy to receive the same excellent service - keep up the good work! Can't speak highly enough of the 2 carpet layers - Bruce and Shane - they rang ahead to confirm when they would arrive at my place, they arrived on time, the job was done efficiently and they cleaned up after themselves. A pleasure to have them in the house, which you can't always say about every tradesperson.

I cannot speak highly enough of Milad's professionalism & efficiency when I initially organised a new floor for my Mother's apartment upon Settlement - Strata throws a STOP to the process with 5 days notice with compliance complications and I switch to a carpet alternative - Milad was calm, organised and super flexible despite the left field late call by Strata and we installed new carpet on schedule. After meeting Milad at Solomons carpet Annandale, we instantly impressed with his attitude towards us.
We found him to be professional, non pushy and actually listened to what we wanted to buy without trying to push what he wanted to sell.
He was very patient as we were rather difficult customers.
Milad kept us informed of everything that was happening and actually arrived at our premises the morning of installation to ensure all was going to plan.
The guys that did the laying did a great job, were also very helpful and obliging moving furniture etc.

In a 15 minute visit Monday morning I was able to source the product I wanted, after consultation with the manager. On Thursday he installed the framework, underlay and carpet. The team at Solomons flooring Annandale gave been excellent to deal with. Milat has kept me informed of progress re my order and installation and checked up to make sure I was 100% happy, which I most certainly am. Carpet and floors look fantastic in my newly renovated house.

Very helpful to begin with but I had some issues with the size of the deposit and that payment was required 48 hours upfront. I renegotiated the deposit amount and the franchisee was happy to reduce. I was about to order but then read through the terms and conditions in detail and found then unacceptable. Other carpet suppliers in the area had the same carpet for same price but less punitive conditions so we went with a different supplier. When I very politely emailed the store owner to thank them for their time and assistance, I was insulted in a very angry email response. No one likes to lose work but there's no excuse for getting personal when you miss out - buyer beware.

This is our second time using this store and we are delighted with our new carpet. Harry was very approachable and a pleasure to do business with.

Dealing with Solomon Carpets at Castle Hill was such a pleasant experience. They were extremely punctual. They did not have the colour of the flooring we wanted and we thought we would have to go with someone else but they managed to get us the exact colour in no time at all. They use the best installers and they are all lovely people to work with. Nami was our contact person, he even gave me his mobile number, he would answer all of my queries in a second, and he was always available - even on his days offs. I would strongly recommend them if you need any carpets or floors - don't look anywhere else.
