Love this TV!!!
Love our huge TV! Great picture quality and size. Its a very smart TV and my favourite function is that the remote has a youtube and netflix button so I can easily access these two things! Its epecially handy to be able to find my daughter new cartoons on demand etc.
Purchased in June 2021 at The Good Guys for A$1,596.00.

Absolutely awesome. Especially at the price point
This TV is great. Espically for the price. Sounds great. Picture is great. Speed is great. Bit too much plastic but good for the price. Smart TV functions are actually better than expected. This TV could sell for $3k and be a good deal.
Would recommend to anyone and I’d buy a Sony like this again.

Best TV
So happy with our Sony TV. The quality of the image is excellent and the apps (Netflix, Amazon Prime, Stan, KODI) that are available are so varied. I love having a smart TV and google play that we can easily watch movies on. Will definitely buy another Sony TV in the future.

Got this for just under $2k which is a bargain. Clear picture sturdy frame Sound is good but the picture quality is amazing. hadn't even planned to buy this TV but at the price it has proved to be a satisfactory purchase All in all a good purchase and very worthy of snapping up for just under a grand. I would recommend

Worthy of buying for under a grand, can do HDR games and stream 4K video well.
This is not a long term review as I've only had it (the 60" version) a few months but as I've been behind the times (gave up TV for a while and bought a cheap 32" in 2014) it is a big leap into today's technology.
It is 4K, has HDR, has its own operating system with apps. It can stream 4K video seamlessly (my Sony Blu-Ray player is also much better at streaming than a laptop). The only niggle is that I can't cast to the TV from an android phone for some reason (I recently updated the TV software so maybe I could try again) while my Blu-Ray pla...Read more

Love it!
Got this for just under $2k which is a bargain. Don't know what's supposedly wrong with it at this price but we love it. Will preface this by saying we upgraded from a reliable 10 year old Samsung Plasma 50", but the picture is fantastic and has brought the World Cup right into our living room.
Don't care about number of ports / built in speakers as using an AVR - however the built-in speakers are actually pretty decent - easily better than our old tv. 3 HDMI might not be enough for some - but paired with an AVR you won't go wrong.
The ap...Read more
ps we've used (Netflix, SBS, Youtube) have all worked well. As this is our first smart tv I am inexperienced as to our expectations on this front and I wonder if the apps will become outdated in the short/medium/long term - however I bought this expecting to use it with a chromecast so more than happy at present.Similar opinion? Big TV, poor backlighting. Insects get between the outer screen and display. 2nd one died after 13 months.
As the title indicates, the 'true blacks' that are advertised on this product is misleading. I actually returned my television to Sony thinking it was faulty. Sony, after a few months of faffing about, replaced it with a new one. The new one had the same problem, arguably slightly worse. After more correspondence I was informed that my TV was not faulty. So there is a difference in their marking bumf and what you actually get. It's not a good TV.
I purchased the TV as an upgrade to my 8 year ($996) old LG 60” plasma television (which I s...Read more
till have and use). I've learned that the passage of time does not necessarily mean product improvement, at least not in this case. Sure the TV is 15% larger, 30% more energy efficient, and has UHD resolution (which in reality you do not have many opportunities to exploit with Australian content and internet speeds), but I’m a bit disappointed at the level of light that bleeds through the panel and the inconsistent way that it does this. My 8 year old LG does have less black ‘blacks’ but it is at least evenly distributed. The Sony looks like there are clouds in the background. The inverse problem is also noticeable when you have the screen fully white – there are darker areas of white. I suppose that $2000 is a decent price for such a large television, but contrary to these other reviews, please be aware that this TV is really only good for watching sports or other things that don’t have dark scenes. The issue is that light leaks through the LCD panel, leaving you with an obvious clouding effect in dark scenes. This is particularly noticeable at night time in a dark room, with dark scenes, or when the screen is fully white. This is a budget TV so don’t expect a premium experience. *** Update - a small insect has made its way in between the LED panel and the outer clear layer on the screen. There is no way of removing it. I've never seen this on a TV or computer monitor before. I've spoken with Sony, and (of course) it's NOT covered under warranty. I since received a voucher from Sony saying "since repair may cost as much as a new television, we would like to offer you an exclusive 40% discount for your purchase on a new unit."Purchased in February 2021 at The Good Guys for A$2,000.00.

Great family TV
All great... picture, sound, smarts! Good viewing angles of photography quality imagery. Have the PS4 pro, Apple TV4K, server, etc hooked up through it and they're all seamless. Love the Netflix and Youtube functions on the remote. TV apps all good. The inbuilt speakers are more than adequate for good movie reproduction and for me to hear the news above a noisy tribe!

Awesome quality
The picture quality is amazing, it has a great high definition quality which makes it enjoyable to relax and spend quality time with the family. I am quite satisfied with the built-in speakers and I never have to turn it on too loud as it already produces clear sound. It has just enough ports for me personally as I haven't faced any port availability issues. It is a great smart TV for the family and contains a range of applications to entertain everyone.

Huge TV and Bang for Buck!
This is a HUGE 4k TV and probably the best value for money out there at the moment. I got mine by price matching at Harvey Norman, and beware the salesmen try to up sell to a more expensive TV because they aren't making much margins on these. Nonetheless, satisfied with the 60HZ monitor refresh rate (as TV in Australia is much lower anyway) and the resolution is epic! Highly recommend!

Very slow, turns off randomly and can attract viruses
Quite satisfied with picture and quality
The remote sometimes doesn't work as in the receiving part of things
It turns off randomly
Sometimes I have to turn off then on the TV to reset it for it to work. Even when I click to record my voice on their new microphone option, it doesn't connect

Hi my Sony x67e just stopped working for no reason and now won’t turn on, what would be the problem it’s less than a year old

See my review. They're very poor quality. Made in Mexico. You should still be under factory warrany with Sony. Good luck with that.
If the LED is blinking, there is a process to troubleshoot. Search for Sony TV Blink codes and see what comes up in Google. I fixed mine just by following simple steps of unplugging it and letting it sit for a while before plugging back in and it powered right up no issues since and its been over a year now. :)

Have trouble picking up Netflix and YouTube even though I have wifi extender. Any help?

Our TV is near the wifi where we’ve had no trouble with Netflix. I’ve since run Ethernet cable throughout the house though because with so many devices and screens it just helps with UHD streaming, especially when the internet slows down sometimes due to high regional loads etc. I’m also using the isp MyRepublik and happy with the service. Their server has both 3 & 5G and is configured for speed.
Wifi extenders may well EXTEND your wireless network, but do so by SLOWING it down. Nothing beats cable.
