Hello. Can the Strong SRT5434 record Hd free to air TV that has MPEG 4 format? If yes, Can I play what I have recorded with HD quality? Cheers. Pierre
Do i have to record on a usb or does it have its own hdd to record to.
Can't watch a tv show whilst recording another channel. It says in the manual that you can record a show while you are out>>> (and watch it when you get back ) later? Not what I wanted, looks like I wasted my $65 not to mention my wifes input !!!! It switches over to the show being recorded when the recording starts. Is it faulty ?
The functionality you're after (recording one channel and then browsing through others) requires a twin-tuner unit. This unit has a single tuner, so if you're recording you'll be stuck watching that ...
Read morechannel. I'm not aware of a twin-tuner setup that can be had for anything like the SRT5434's asking price... not one that I'd have any faith in, anyway.
Thanks Marshall, I believe twin tuners are for some reason not very available, suppose a smart tv might be the go
My remote has decided to alow me to get only one company and all its channels.
Previosly channels went from 1 to 99 . Eg chanel 9 went from 90 to 99
Now I can only get them in blocks. Any help?
I would open the menu, and scroll through to USB
Then go to software update and do that. Then go up to DVR configure ( above it on the same menu) make sure it is record device FAT 32 then DVR format. ...
Why cannot I record a program, it knows if I plug in a usb device ?
