Hello. Can the Strong SRT5434 record Hd free to air TV that has MPEG 4 format? If yes, Can I play what I have recorded with HD quality? Cheers. Pierre
Do i have to record on a usb or does it have its own hdd to record to.
Can't watch a tv show whilst recording another channel. It says in the manual that you can record a show while you are out>>> (and watch it when you get back ) later? Not what I wanted, looks like I wasted my $65 not to mention my wifes input !!!! It switches over to the show being recorded when the recording starts. Is it faulty ?
The functionality you're after (recording one channel and then browsing through others) requires a twin-tuner unit. This unit has a single tuner, so if you're recording you'll be stuck watching that ...

My remote has decided to alow me to get only one company and all its channels.
Previosly channels went from 1 to 99 . Eg chanel 9 went from 90 to 99
Now I can only get them in blocks. Any help?

Then go to software update and do that. Then go up to DVR configure ( above it on the same menu) make sure it is record device FAT 32 then DVR format. ...
Why cannot I record a program, it knows if I plug in a usb device ?
