Ordered an item in September, and am yet to receive it or any further confirmation since the initial order email. Have emailed multiple times over the past few weeks and have not received any response. Very disappointed and unsure of what to do next. usually wouldn't write a review but seeing as they have replied to some here i thought it might help me get a response.
Edit - the day after i posted this review my item was shipped and it arrived 17/10/19. Still no response to my emails. Disappointed as a first time customer to have this experience as there are other things on their website i would like to order but am reluctant to ever order from them again.

Rudeness and blaming the customer is their game.
I ordered a dinner set. 5 days after ordering and not receiving any correspondence I decided to contact them to make sure all was well and get a ballpark dispatch date. After phoning 3 or 4 times with no answer, I sent through an email asking when my order will be dispatched. Some time later I got a bunch of emails from Tableking and Afterpay. The Afterpay stated a refund was being processed. This gem came from [Name Removed] at Tableking: " Hi there, I have received your email and voicemail. use is closed for stocktake. If you go to the product page you can see this written in red font underneath the buy button. Your order has not been dispatched. We have refunded your order back through Afterpay". After checking the Tableking website I located tiny lettering under the product itself (note: not the home page or catalogue page) stating that 'warehouse closed due to stocktake, next dispatch on 15th September'. I sent a reply email back to [Name Removed] : Hi [Name Removed], yes I can see it there. I would have waited given the opportunity, but I didn't get the opportunity. To which his immediate reply was to resend his initial email with this line added "Based on your multiple calls and email, it sounds like you need this urgently which we are unable to do at this time". is for your review I can see is that you did not read our product page prior to buying an item. So after thinking long and hard, I would like to address your review. Since you choose the title of this review and made it personal by throwing in my name, I will Blame you, because life is too short for online bullies like you. 1. Your title - I find customers who have a valid reason to feel the need to write a review. write a title such as still waiting or poor performance. They don't try to grab headlines, all for the sake of getting as many people to read their review as possible. If you like getting likes, try Instagram. Your title "Rudeness and Blaming the customer is their game" was intentionally written for your own glorification as a keyboard warrior. 2. Your review has no merit. You placed an order during a time we publicly advertised we were closed. You then mention no one returned your emails or answered the phone. Hmm, could be we were closed. When I checked the email as I stated to you, I organised a refund due to the volume of messages and emails as I felt you needed it urgently. Heck even our refund was not good enough. Essentially, you placed an order, received a refund. You didn't have to fight for a refund or argue, We simply did it to put you first. 3 I sent an explanation (not rude) but simply a matter of fact. The explanation failed to be to your liking and was seen by you as rude. I challange you, if you have anything rude from me, publish it. 4. I advised you if you look at the website we were closed, but rather than accepting any slight form of personal responsibility, it was our fault because the font of our message was too small for your liking. Albeit it was read and understood by hundreds of others. 5. To grandstand further, you have to put in a personal dig such as "This little gem from Justin". At no point was I rude to you, merely matter of fact. 6. You then finish your nasty little review with, "Now look at the other negative reviews. There is a pattern here." I applaud you for your effort on that one. They do however say don't throw rocks in a glass house. Looking at the 3 reviews you have left on product review, they are all negative. That seems like a pattern. So in close, I would like to say this. Your review is simply click bait to deliberately and intentionally hurt us because you simply did not want to accept you may have not read the website correctly. Also, given you ordered during our advertised stocktake closure, how could any reasonable person feel that gives you the right to cause potentially thousands of dollars in future damage to a business. 20 years online, 14 negative reviews, there is a pattern.Similar opinion? I’m a happy customer
I ordered some Wedgwood dinner sets which were an excellent price but out of stock absolutely everywhere. Although the website made it clear that there would be a delay due to the goods being imported I received a phone call checking that I was ok with the anticipated delay within minutes of placing the order. I was impressed by that. The dinnerware arrived within the expected time frame and I am really happy with them.
I have had no problems with emails being responded to so I find some earlier reviews surprising. I personally would have no hesitation in buying from TableKing again and would recommend it due to the low prices and very reasonable shipping.

Careful handling and care
Our Spode Blue Italian bread bin arrived safely and is a practical object of beauty on our kitchen bench. I was impressed at the care taken to securely wrap our fragile item. It arrived it in perfect condition after a long freight journey. Our special bonus gift of a chopping board is much appreciated and used often. TableKing offer great specials on their beautiful products. It’s cheaper than buying locally.

Beautiful Burleigh Teapot
I bought the small Asiatic Pheasants Teapot from Tableking and am thrilled with my purchase. As a first time customer, I received a $10 voucher and postage was very reasonable. The teapot arrived in perfect condition and was extremely well packaged.
The teapot is beautiful and functional, a lovely addition to our teaware. I was delighted to find an Australian online store that stocks the Burleigh pottery range.

rtain what the buyer beware statement is about as you received your goods and you were not in any manner deceived. I am sorry it took so long. When a backorder item is listed, it means we have placed an order with the factory in France, they then have to make stock to fill the pallets, the pallets are then packed into a shipping container, then it is shipped from France via boat to Australia. My fault, didn't read the fine print
Not delivered on time, when questioned, they pointed out that transport terms are on their web-site, and the order's late arrival was my fault. Safest thing I can do is redirect their mail to spam, and make sure I don't make the same mistake and buy from them again. I'd rate the goods, but I still haven't got them yet.

Perfect for Christmas

Never answers the phone or reply to emails
Never answers the phone always goes to message bank and can’t even leave a message because they don’t listen to them. Send the emails and they never reply. These people have no idea how to run a business. Took at least 4 weeks to get my order when I expected it in 2-5 working days.
When you do get hold of them whey have every excuse under the sun.
Not happy will never buy off them again.

Buyer Beware!
I have been purchasing items from Table King for several years, and have always been happy with their service — until now. I was under the impression that Table King was a substantial business, but it appears from my recent interactions that it is, in fact, a one-man operation.

as the problem started after 5 September. The owner promised to look into the issue and ring me back the following day (19 September). I didn't receive a phone call on 19 September, so I thought I would give the owner one last chance before opening a PayPal dispute. I rang the owner again; he didn't apologise for not ringing the previous day, but said that my order hadn't been dispatched. He gave me the option of waiting *several weeks* until he was able to get to the warehouse, or a refund through PayPal. As a former small business owner, I know how difficult it can be when "life happens", but I think Table King could have handled this incident a lot better. I found the same item from another online retailer at a considerably lower price.2 comments

Quick and easy
I have ordered from this site before without any issues. This time I ordered the Rivsalt grater and salt rocks. The order arrived really quickly (2 days I think), was packed well and the item was exactly as described. I will not hesitate to use them again if I see something I like.

to you, the stock we were sent to fill your order was the incorrect stock. We were not aware of this until today when we unpacked that particular pallet. You stated I did not apologise. I did send a email to you apologising profusely to you before your review was published. The reason I cancelled your order was not to upset you in anyway. Tableking has to return the incorrect dinner sets to the supplier and get the correct ones sent to us. This process shall take some weeks to turn around. I appreciate you being upset and if I were in your position I would also be upset. I mean that sincerely. Few retailers publicly acknowledge when they are in the wrong.
