I really liked thecoverage of this compared to a water based paint.

    published

I decided to use an oil based paint this time instead of the water based I usually use to paint my kitchen cupboards. It was suggested I would get a better finish, and I did. It was easy to apply with good coverage and rather than be patchy as water based paints can be, it was wonderful to apply. I did bot mind the washup up either as rollers are really cheap tobuy now, and can be thrown away after one use.
I have decided that from now on I will always use Taubmans Ultra enamel.

Forget Negative Press- Use it yourself, You will find it great !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I chose Taubmans Ultra Enamel as i have used their Timbertop (great product ),even though i read the negative reviews above. I wasn't disappointed. Using, dark colour called charcoal to cover an oil based primer that is white, i thought it would have poor coverage. Totally the opposite, great coverage, easy to apply and i was using a cheap brush. Not streaky at all. I will use again and recommend. I will do a 2nd coat but it doesn't need it.

    Terrible Finish

    published

Doesn't cover well and leaves a very high gloss in places but doesn't stick evenly elsewhere.
Shows every blemish in the timber. Would never use again. I find myself going over it several times to fix places where the gloss either didn't stick or wasn't thick enough. After talking to others found I am not the only one having problems. Will swap to Dulux from now on.

Goes on excellent, Great finish with brush or roller, easy to apply, stores well, lasts and lasts and lasts even in high traffic areas, doors, architraves and skirting boards, Bathroom painted 5 years ago still looks excellent.

    Rubbish!

    published

Terrible paint, do not flow at all. Applied this with mohair roller an per the directions, left a orange peel finish, I then applied using a paint brush as I would normally do with enamel paint, the brush marks left when applying stayed until dry, paint do not flow at all.
Don't waste your money, plenty of better (and cheaper) alternatives out there.
