    This is the best

    published

I had this actifry about 3 to 4 years and I simply loved it. It is not only easy but healthy too. I use this when I am lazy to cook especially on Friday. We can fry anything with less oil which is very good. I loved it from the day I bought till today. Very handy.

    Great value

    published

For the price this is a rip off. It's made with flimsy shoddy plastic so the parts will cost sod all - though I remember Tefal spares dept asking something like £25 for a replacement plastic spoon, so they're in it to make money!
BUT it does cook nice chips with a single spoon of olive oil.
They're not chip-shop chips, they're not the brilliant continental style chips where they double fry them to be crisp and light outside, soft inside. But they're passable - I'd even say very nice, and use so little oil you can have them often.
On mine the locking mechanism on the lid broke off - it's a couple of thin transparent plastic hooks on the lid that clip into the base unit, and the lid has to be closed for it to work.

    Very useful, easy to clean

    published

Baught aboout a year ago and use almost every day. Easy to clean. Good to use for snacks for little ones. Healthier choice for frozen food very handy but taste better with deep fryer definately.
Had to exchange once because of lid faulty. Working well now. It is bit noisy same level as blow dryer.

Saved a lot of time for cooking and the taste is comparable to restaurant

It is very easy to clean. I bought several years ago when Tefal airfryer just released. I am stiill using it now and almost twice a week. Saved a lot of time for cooking and the taste is comparable to restaurant. I used it to cook green bean or chicken wing. Worth to invest on it.

    Straight forward to use

    published

Ever since i have purchased this product, it has made cooking in my kitchen so much easier and hassle free. The instructions were very easy to understand and follow. It requires very minimal oil to ensure a crispy meal and i can confirm that it fries potato chips very quickly.

Good choice if you want a simple way to cook

    published

Not the same as the tranditional fried cooking, it seems a fast heating oven.
Could make food hard but not very crispy.
Easy to deal with the food with fat like chicken wings, pork belly. But the hot chips not that tasty from this fryer.
Easy to clean and store in your kitchen.

    Great little machine

    published

Use this thing weekly for anything I would normally oven bake. Draws fat from frozen chips amongst other food and remains delicious tasting. Just remember not to leave the spoon in, I did first time...melted.

    Easy cooking

    published

I bought it for Christmas and it makes deep fry much easier. Do not need oil, simply put lamb cutlet, chips, ribs and so on in it. Set timer and wait for it. Make me feel less guilty when u eat deep fry food. Easy to clean the pan with hot water .

    Does the job!!

    published

Cooks really well with only one tablespoon of oil. We tend to use it for frozen fries, wedges and fresh potatoes and sweet potatoes. Satisfied with the result and taste and healthier way of eating fried food. However, can’t put too much at the time and food sometimes tend to get stuck up at the lid

    Not as expected

    published

When it first came out like 5 years ago, I was really excited that I wont need to use the conventional pan with full of oil, however I was a bit disappointed with the tefal airfryer, to fry the potato chip would take more than 20mins till it gets to the crispiness that we can have in 10mins by using the conventional oven.

Works as an Air fryer should

    published

Air fry is easy enough to use, large capacity. The only annoying thing is that it's noisey, rotates food and sometimes mashes it in the process. Otherwise, an efficient and healthy way to cook meals. Storage is a problem as the unit is rather huge but it is worth it.

    Works well but design flaw.

    published

The machine itself works well, but the attachment inside to rotate the food whilst cooking usually mushes the food inside it, although it's still edible it just doesn't look too appealing. Also the storage is a little tricky due to it being so big and round, which also makes cleaning difficult.

Fantastic product, great addition to the kitchen

    published

Purchased this over a year ago and it definitely gets its fair share of use. Drop a bit of oil in there and it's pretty much as good as air drying!! And so much healthier! Definitely recommend this. Only downside is that it's slightly small, I'd go for the XL version if I had a choice.

    Very nice

    published

Bought this for our sharehouse, has so far survived heavy use and abuse with sometimes poor cleaning inbetween uses. A bit of a trifle to clean but as far as cooking goes it's simple and works very nicely. A bit healthier than frypan or shallowfrying but much more convenient than either, it's kind of noisy and storage is a little trickyt due to its size and our limited shelf space, but a decent machine overall.

    Great for cooking chips

    published

Use little oil, very healthy, nice chips and nothing to worry about. I use it every night to cook chips for my son, he loves it. Also try cooking chicken wings, crispy skin and no oil required. Healthy way of cooking. Highly recommend it. Cleaning is not too bad either

    Remember its a Domestic Machine

    published

The Tefal Actifry is a good domestic machine for cooking food with minimal oil, thereby providing a healthy option. The unit itself is noisy and bulky but does a good job. You need to be vigilant to clean the machine after each use otherwise it quickly builds up with baked on oil.

    Disappointing

    published

We bought this airfrier to try and get some fries for the kids, when entertaining, and busy dinners, but what a disappointment it was !
Potatoes come out soggy, they break during the cycle, others burn...
Temperature not always works well, am fine it cools everything unevenly .

We don’t use it anymore .

    Awesome way to 'fry' food

    published

Like crunchy roast potatoes in 35min? This is the thing for you then. We use this many times a week and it is now the only way we prepare roast veg alongside a roast dinner. We love that you just "chop and plop" and then pay attention to the rest of the meal while the Tefal stirs and cooks everything perfectly. Just buy it.

    A great all-round air fryer.

    published

Overall very satisfied with this machine. Have had it for 2 years and use it regularly. As I cook roasts in my slow cooker, the air fryer is a better option for me than using the oven to do the roast vegetables. Rosemary roast potatoes are our favourite, and they go golden and crispy without having to use vast amounts of fat. The machine is relatively easy to clean and (I'll be honest) a challenge to store because of the size and shape, but I managed to make room for it.

    Not worth the money

    published

With two small children who love their nuggets and chips I thought this would be worth investing in. After about 12 months of use plastic bits start breaking and have to be replaced. With each part costing more and more it soon adds up to be a expensive investment. Cooked well when using for two people but the few times I tried cooking large amounts of chips it took a long time and they didn't cook properly. When the handle broke I vowed I wouldn't replace it as it's cost to much already!
