I bought this to use for brown rice, quinoa and porridge. All of which I discovered it cannot do. Both brown rice and quinoa ended up swimming in water and porridge quickly dried out.
Tried many different settings, with no help from the absolutely appalling user manual, to no avail. Will be seeking a refund.

White rice comes out fine but if you want to make brown rice or barley which require bit more water, prepare to be disappointed with lots of water in your rice at the end of your cooking. I tried different setting like quick and expert but both came out the same. And I only really cook brown rice or barley where ratio is 1:3.

If you're only cooking white rice, you'll be fine. I'll be returning it.
