Faulty Product and Poor Customer Service
We purchased Finish Powerball Dishwashing Capsules at Reject Shop and found the capsules often turn into a gooey mess in the machine and we have to run the machine again with another capsule. We sent a photo to customer service who said the capsules were fit for purpose and it was our fault how we stacked the dishwasher. How can they say that without testing the product? and tell us its our fault for not stacking the dishwasher properly, we have only been been using a dishwasher for 40 years!

Do not buy the Solar Christmas lights.
I have recently purchased solar Christmas lights. I made christmas balls out of the lights and have had to return two sets already. Now a third set is not working. Replaced a set with lights from another chain store and have had no issues and they stay alight all night, unlike reject shop ones that turn off around midnight.
The manager changed two sets willingly and told me he took a set home and had no problems.
I love the reject shop but have been bitterly disappointed with the solar christmas lights. Not good quality. Reject shop needs to find another supplier, as batteries in the solar panels have limited life span. Definitely not fit for purpose. Will never purchase this product again.

Faulty hooks caused hundreds of dollars damage
Disgraceful! purchased adhesive hooks to hang pictures. Used as instructed and all fell from the wall smashing all frames. Emailed customer service only to be told we used it incorrectly. Literally hundreds of dollars damage.

Customer service very bad
The Reject Shop - Northland shopping centre Sunday 7.07.2019 at 12.30 pm approx customer service very bad!
Cashier rude and arrogant.she didn’t know the prices and didn’t even make an effort to listen when I was talking with her.I asked for the store manager and I was told that she is on a lunch brake but when I asked for the second time store manager appeared and sadly again bad service. The store manager even didn’t asked me where is the problem like I didn’t exist.
Bad service all around!!! Bad bad bad service!

Good value for money
When I last went, I grabbed a few items like chocolate and cleaning supplies, and was surprised at how cheap they were. Also, when I had trouble finding the umbrellas, a staff member was able to assist and she was friendly and helpful. I'm looking forward to my next shop!

The best variety discount store
Absolutely love The Reject Shop at Noosa. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. Their exchange and refund policy is excellent and hassle-free. Their prices are far better than any other discount variety stores.

Prices on stuff not real prices
I had this experience with Reject Shop at Broadmeadows it's happened actually two times and different occasions where I bought some stuff from the from the store and when I proceed to the cashier they asked me for different prics. The last time I got some stuff for my cat's and when I wanted to pay the price that's marked on the stuff, they asked me to pay more as the price presented is not true.

Lady at checkout 100% customer satisfaction
I would just like to say I went into the Reject Shop on Thursday at Rockdale. A lady by the name of Doris had excellent customer service. THE BEST!!! She was extremely helpful and just had a lovely smile on her face. Thank you Doris

No staff at registers
Again I went to the reject shop today and had to wait so long just to be served, why is it (at roselands store) they always have 1 staff member at the cash registers? I counted 11 people in line before me. Every time I go there it’s the same thing. It’s a shame because I really like going there to get cleaning supplies and bathroom products are so cheap, but I always have to wait so long in line.

Good cat products for less
Recent trip to Reject shop netted me a fantastic cat box with round hoop for climbing through and special scratching sides. It also has danglies on it. My two kittens took to it immediately. It was $35 well spent. Also got a $2. stick with a toy on it that they liked so much they took it off me. Collars also $2.00.

Rockdale store manager was so rude to my kids and I
I told my kids to ask someone in the aisle where the balloons were and they find this person(girl) and asked and she replied in the most ruddest way without realising I was behind them. I told her that she has to be nice and called me stupid in front of my kids. I have never been treated as poorly like that especially coming from a manager.

Fun hit and miss shopping with great surprise prices
The product selection is constantly changing on most items, however they seem to still have quality for the price. I've bought high end (well known expensive) facial, dental and hair products for very low retail prices. Be mindful though that same product may not be in stock the next time you shop. There will always be alternatives, but it's satisfying getting a $6.50 Colgate whitening toothpaste for $2.00 etc.
The stores have organised rows, however the rows are mismatched so you walk from tissues etc to baby sippy cups, to car car, to hygien...Read more

Customer service is a joke
It seems that The Reject Shop reject good people and only hire the bad. I have been served by the same young girl twice at the Elizabeth SA store and twice the customer service has been bad. The first time whilst she was serving me, another staff member asked her for something so when she had finished with me, she said "Goodbye, enjoy the rest of your day" whilst bent over looking for this item. Recently she served me again, and she said goodbye to me whilst looking at me but she had a blank expression on her face. Another time at the Salisbury...Read more
SA store, I went to take back a plastic shelving system which was cracked. The person who I spoke to was very rude and said they were all like that and I couldn't get a refund. However, there was no sign stating they were all faulty. I had to choose something else and chose a plastic crate which turned out to be cracked as well. I couldn't be bothered to return it after the way I was treated the first time.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
Mirror purchase
I bought a mirror which is terrible
When I look into the mirror I feel dizziness because it is very bad quality .
I couldn't check it because it was wrapped in plastic. I'll warn anybody who wants to buy this mirror that it will effect your eye sight so please don't buy it.

Inaccessible, Badly Organized
I have a mobility disability that requires me to use a mobility scooter while I'm shopping, if I'm going to be on my feet for more than a couple of minutes. Regardless of where I am, The Reject Shop is always inaccessible in my scooter. I might be able to get into the store, but trying to fit down an aisle or turn down the end of an aisle is impossible. There are always crates and boxes and stock creating such narrow pathways that it would cause damage for me to even attempt to shop in their store in a scooter - or even a wheelchair!

ecently I went in to purchase some garden implements and pots and had to leave my scooter outside, go in, pick up the two things I needed, and pay and go back out. By the end of that time, I was in a lot of pain. I've written to them and have been told that their stores shouldn't be organized this way and they'll talk to the manager of the store I've frequented most often - and yet they ALL are. Every Reject Shop I've been in is organized the same way. It is a violation of the requirements for shop accessibility and it's illegal. And yet, nothing is being done about it.Similar opinion? Won't use their Frankston Bayside store anymore
I like to have a look in the Reject Shop regularly as they always have some bargains BUT since I've moved to Frankston I'm not so keen. The store in Bayside doesn't seem to have regular "opening" hours - they advertise online that they open at 8:30am Mon-Fri however most times I've gone they're not open and there are no hours advertised on the store, seems they just open when they feel like it! Last time I went there I found all the lights on and people inside but the store wasn't open and NO SIGNS again out the front saying when they would o...Read more
pen so I just sat down to wait thinking they were running a little late. Unfortunately "no" some lady who obviously worked there and was going in the shop said to me "we're opening late today as we have to move things" - OK why don't you advertise this or at least put a sign up out the front on your window when you are advertising "open at 8:30am online"? She didn't even say when they were opening so again I gather they just open when they feel like it which is very bad customer service really. Bayside store has lost me I'd rather drive all the way down to Mornington as I never had that problem with this store when I lived there! Thankfully there are plenty of other bargain stores in Frankston so I probably won't bother much with the Reject Shop in the future.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Great stuffs with cheap price
Bought a couple of homeware from it but just don’t remember all of them and they are pretty good considering how cheap the price are. But the thing that I have a great impression is their turf. It is really cheap and of great quality.
