great product

Bought this on sale from baby bunting. Was half price so got a bargain. A bit noisy but does the job great. Very good product and easy to use. Was almost the same price as manual pump so is a great deal if you get it on sale. Wonderful product.

Easy to use

published

I used this pump for 6 months exclusively for my daughter and 3 moths with my son. It’s easy and comfortable to use and clean after compared to two other pumps I tried. It’s a great size and easy to store away. I Would and will use again in the future. The only thing I found is it was pretty loud while using.

Simple to use and Cheap

published

I had both my babies spend a considerable amount of time in hospital after birth so breast pumping was a very common experience.

This was the forth brand I tried and for the price I found it pretty good to use.

Tommee tippee has always been my prefered brand of bottles so it was easy to change to bigger bottles when I needed to. Easy to clean which is great also.

The only downfall I found was it was loud, which was annoying the nights I was home trying to pump secretly at 3am.

Great product

published

It was a baby shower present so I was sceptical at first but after the first use and how easy it was to use and just so comfortable I became more confident in the product
I used it for both my daughters and it made the whole parenting process a lot easier for my husband who was able to bottle feed our daughters and bond like was able to while breastfeeding

Ended up costing more

I exclusively expressed 8 times a day. For each feed it would take about 20-40min. After 2.5 months i got carple tunnel from holding it and needed surgery and 4 weeks recovery. Not worth it to save a couple $$ just buy a double pump with handsfree bra you wont regret it.

Handy to have around the house

published

Easy to use once you get the hang of assembling it. Easy and comfortable to use. 15 - 20 minutes generally pumps about 90-100mls depending on your milk supply. After use, I give it a wash with detergent then put it in my microwave sterilizer for 5 minutes. Then i leave the sterilizer closed and pop it in the fridge ready to go for the next time I need to pump. I've always loved the Tommee Tippee brand and i'll continue to use it. Very reliable and sturdy brand.

Quick and easy

published

For the first express I ever did this machine was easy to hold, easy to assemble and easy to clean. Was able to express up to 120mls most times and didn’t take long at all, being that it was electric it was so easy I could sit there and hold it and watch tv or relax! Great product!

Terrible. Do not buy

published

My wife received this as a gift for our firstborn. Next to useless. Slow and very loud. When we mentioned we had a Tommee Tippee electric pump to the nurses at hospital, they said they'd only heard bad things about it.
Bought a Spectra S2 to replace it which is excellent. Yes, it costs more, but it actually works.

Bought on sale otherwise not worth the price tag

published

The pump worked fine for me at first when I had excellent supply however in time it became very hard to pump anything at all. Even in the early days it was very slow and could take a long time. Found the suction often came off and a lot of pieces to wash and put together. I think there are better on the market.

Easy to use

published

I enjoy using my Tommee Tippee breast pump. I find it comfortable to use even if my breasts are sore. The only downside is after it’s washed and sanitised the pump went cloudy/ foggy. It was easy to pull apart, clean and put back together. It is noisier then I expected but after a while you get used to it. I’d definitely buy and use this pump again!

Great product

Very simple and not complicated to use. Easy clean and easy to reassemble after the first few times.
Compared to other products this one is just as good and we got a great price on it!
The only thing i have has trouble with is finding replacement parts as the plastic has discolored a little over time.

Easy to use and put together

published

I actually found this breast pump easy to use and very easy to put together and take apart in order to steam. It has a few different settings but I always used the highest. Never was it uncomfortable for me. Unfortunately, I only used this breast pump for about two weeks as I was unable to continue breast feeding. However, I would recommend it and will like to try again if we have another child. I also bought this on sale and only paid $99.00. For that price, I recommend it. I probably would not have bought it if it was more expensive.

This was my life saver

published

I used this as a new Mum and loved it. It was very easy to use and set up and I found it really comfortable. I used it for the first 6 months of breastfeeding and it did not disappoint. Pumps really well and quick and it was easy to clean afterward. Have had no issue and will buy again if ever it broke.

Pefect!

First time mum here :) I found it overwhelming choosing a breast pump as i decided to buy one before giving birth. I purchased a cheap BP online and it failed me. The Closer to Nature BP was the best onE. My fiance went out to babies r us and received so much help from staff. Plenty of accessories always available for the item and still in good condition after 8 months of use.

Good pump for using on thge odd occasion

published

I bought this pump when I was pregnant and found it useful for the early days when I was too sore to feed. It is quite noisy but comfortable to use and dooes a good job. You do need to be careful to keep the collection kit upright so the milk does not flow back intro the tubing - this pump does not have a closed system. If you mainly feed your bub yourself and only express on the odd occasion this is ideal, however if you're expressing regularly I would invest in a more heavy duty pump.

Got what I paid for.

Have been using for almost 6 months now, I only use it once a day 4-5 times a week. The third setting works best so the suction could improve and it would be better if it was quieter, it is very loud. Overall good product for the price I paid.

Hate it!

Didn’t like it as a first pump

published

When I first came out of the hospital, I was attached to the pump most of the time for a few weeks until my milk came in along with nursing. Since it was a single pump, it took so much time to pump and it hurt a lot (due to the wrong size of breast shield). It did do it’s job with getting milk out but not As well as the medala. It’s really noisy and there are so many parts to this pump so it does take more time to clean the parts.

How do you get the milk from the pump into the bottle. It just pools up and floods back on to my nipple. There seems to be nowhere it can go to filter through into the bottle.

We just noticed the same thing, that one of the valve that comes with the kit seems doesn't have an opening at the lower part, the other one is fine. You can either try to use the other valve (comes with the kit) or use a small knife to cut a small horizontal opening, so the milk can flow into the bottle. Also make sure you clean the opening after each use to keep it hygiene. It's weird to hear that not just me having this issue with one of the valve. Perhaps need to ring their bell to see what's going on.

Happened with mine too. I pulled the valve apart at the seam and now it works as expected

We too had the issue and it was doing our head in until I did some research and stumbled upon this. Good to see we weren't idiots and pumping incorrectly. There should be a notation in the instructions about this issue.
