Tontine Wool

Good quilt with too much warmth even on some extremely cold nights. Highly recommended. Still need to wash to understand whether it will shrink or not. Cotton cover is a must.

Like others here, our new doona sheds terrible amounts of fiber. It makes a total mess of everything. Very annoying. Nice enough doona, but the way it sheds is ridiculous. I’m also wondering if this means the doona is going to end up thin and inferior in due course. Disappointed as it spoils a nice doona.

Bought two kings from them and had to return them. I have Australia post proof the returns were delivered and signed off by Tontine. Now Tontine argue that the delivery did not take place and AustraliaPost is lying. Hhuugh....? They refuse to pay my credit.

I bought two king sized doonas, one for my son and one for myself. After there being too much material left in a king sized cover, we tried a queen sized cover only to discover this was too small. After going to the sizing website, we discovered that a king sized doona should be 2.1m x 2.45m. Upon measuring ours -that distinctly says KING on the tags- we found they are 2.1m x 2.2m, a huge 25cm of material shorter. No wonder the king size covers are too big for the doonas and the queen size covers are too small at 2.1m x 2.1m. I can't say i'm very impressed with Tontine after being a fan for many years, although their pillows are nowhere near the quality they used to be.

I am very happy with this product, and with the company's after sales service. Due to damaged care instructions label, I was unsure how to launder the product. This resulted in my quilt shrinking, as I put in washing machine on "warm wool cycle". I called Tontine, and after sending in a photo of the product, they have offered me a replacement quilt as good will.

Worst product ever. I've had a Tontine QS Supreme Wool Quilt (T4497MD06) for a year now. These are not cheap but are not good. The damn thing sheds what is probably low quality wool fibres but it looks like big white dog hairs. And lots of them! There are so much that they form mats inside the corners of the quilt cover and every time I take the cover off to wash these hairs go everywhere. I have no problem with its warmth it is just that it sheds so much. Do not buy this terrible product. I have thrown mine in the trash.
