Camry XV10 (1991-1996)

My Camry CSI 96 auto has developed an intermittent problem - directly after replacing the battery- looses power at low revs or slow driving -needs to rest for 15 mins befor can restart- lights / still working -Toyota has given car full power / circuit tests tick of good- no current brake on an civility, another Mechanics has spent hours trying to locate problem - fuel pump good - alternator good - new leads etc - full service done. Any thoughts? No one can find problem

That is not good if they cannot find the source of the problem given the fact that the car has been taken to the dealership.
I never had that experience before.
Your best bet is to have the transmission oil changed, check the transmission solenoid or change if it has one.
Loose wiring with no apparent break outside the insulation can do that as well on other cars.
If it does not work, you might just as well change the whole transmission with a second hand unit.
Most of the time electrical related issues are hard to diagnose, it is going to be a pain for you as the owner paying for things that are trial and error.
I am really sorry for what is going on with your car right now.

Try a good auto electrician, think that might be your best bet.
