This is very reliable and efficient car. I have drove around australia, state to state for last couple of years and it served just fine interms of fuel economy, driving comfort, and reliability - peace of mind on a highway. I do have few complains, it is quite noisy on a highway, or atleast I feel so. You can hear the wheels even when your windows closed when you are above 80 speed. Not for you if you are above 5.10 height. Its only fit for small people. Beside these two drawbacks its a good car for the price it comes, its 5 star for me in that range.

Popular for a reason - low maintenance costs and reliability. Economical and reliable car as well as capped price servicing. Or if you know chinese dealers, you can do it cheaper. However CVT is a big issue. The feel of a CVT can be odd. The rpm of the engine can fluctuate a lot while driving, especially when accelerating. Or when accelerating hard, they’ll just sit unchanged at a lofty rpm level .

I drive a 2013 Toyota Corolla ZR Hatch( Top of the Range) so you have full leather, Glass Roof, Sat Nav, Heater in the front seats, sensor opening, yes with all the Bells and whistles, This car is ideal for perfect roads, the vehicle sits far too low, the low profile wheels makes things even worse, we have scraped the front bumper several times and damaged the alloy rims in the process, i do find there are a few blind spots when reversing,I do not like the quality of leather upholstery, very uncomfortable, i cannot wait to dispose of car and rather settle for a Subaru SUV, in conclusion we have just returned touring the East Coast of Australia and the economy was great and the car performed marvellous

The drive is so smooth, especially on a highway. From the minute you sit in the drivers seat you feel like your in a modified cockpit. Yet easy to operate. My favourite feature is the keyless entry and push button start. Still excites me everytime I turn it on. Only bad thing would be the windows sometimes don't feel like there completely up and you can still hear a bit of the wind from outside so it doesn't complete block out sound.

This would be the fifth or sixth Corolla we have had in the family. Over all I like the car but I cannot see the speedometer in the day light. I have been back to the service department and was told there was nothing that could be done to improve the back lighting. This has to be a design fault.
