Hi I got a 99 LN167R got new Moters in it and new injector pump it’s slow up hills all the timing makes are right the top of the injector pump is about 6m from the inlet manifold is that ok and it only does about 10ks up hills what can I do too make this right plz

2001 Hilux 2.7 petrol. Auto feels sluggish going up hill and have to engage L. Not much pep for 2.7l
Also, how often must the timing chains / gears need adjusting?

Hey all got a 2003 SR5 4x4 Hilux space cab with 3.4 V6 petrol automatic, keeps losing power when driving, any suggestions please???

Hey Ive just recently let the fuel tank on my petrol 2.7 efi tray back run dry and now theres air inthe system can anyone help me on to where the plunger is located or bleed screw or what line to crack, was think just bellow the filter but any help would be appreciated heaps cheers!

My toyota hilux 02 steering wheel vibrates mostly when I slow down to around 20km . Iv had a wheel balance and wheel aliment after I put new tie rods in. Iv checked the wheel bearings and there all good. What else could be the problem

I have a 1998 2wd Toyota hilux with a 2.7 petty in it and I want to put a 3.0 L 1998 hilux td motor in it keeping it 2wd. So being the same cab and engine bay, how would I go about fitting the motor is their mounts? Do I have to cut and weld etc?

Hi - I have a recurring issue with my 2003 hilux, the engine light comes on and it loses power. Troubleshooting has identified that the filter is low on fuel and requires manual pumping to prime it - this clears the engine light and it runs good for a while. After runs, I check and have to prime the filter - my suspicion is that it is the fuel pump, but would like to know how best to troubleshoot before removing and replacing the pump as I dont want to replace it, only to find it is in ok working condition...
