I am no longer a fan of Twinning's Irish Breakfast though I have been drinking it for over 50 years. I believe it changed ownership and maybe they changed the recipe? It was not my imagination or my taste buds that the product had changed. I found a caddy of teabags in the staff kitchen which was at least 7 years old which still had the full body flavour that I have loved and enjoyed.. The ones on the market now are not as strong and have a dusty taste. I loved the strong, full body flavour that it used to have without the bitterness. I don't know what to buy now? Any recommendations?

Unable to buy anywhere in my local area, even went for a 45 minute drive and still couldn't find my Twinings Irish leaf tea.
The flavour is softer than other teas and very drinkable, if you can get it. 5 stars from me.

I bought this tea to try something different and what a lovely tea it is. I think the Irish Breakfast is my favorite tea now. It is a bit more expensive than some other brands but yes I agree with the below comment. It is definitely worth every penny. It's a great tea to brew in a pot for guests or to have on your own in the morning or late at night. Feels very comforting and leaves beautiful aftertaste. My husband is not a big tea drinker but even he loves it. Would recommend everyone to at least try it.

Twinings Irish Breakfast is a beautiful blend of tea and one of my absolute favourites. Its flavour is strong, rich and full of depth without being overwhelming. Its strong flavour is probably why it is commonly had as a breakfast tea. However, it can be enjoyed at any time of the day and the perfect drink whenever you need something refreshing. It has a lovely rich amber colour and tastes great with milk and sugar. It is my favourite black tea and well worth spending the extra money on.
