Tea is for Twinings!
Twinings is my personal favourite and go to brand for tea. They have the best range of traditional teas and herbal tisanes.
The lemon & ginger tea is one of my favourites. It's perfect for those cold and rainy days, with it's warming herbal heat. It comes out all the time to chase those winter blues away and it's my natural medicine for those the dreaded cold & flu.
Try Twinings Lemon & Ginger and get a little spice in your life.
Purchased at Plaza Bunbury 2021.

Poor Quality & Deceptive Packaging
We brought the Twining Lemon Ginger Infusion from Woolworth Glenwood NSW 2768 on 7 Jun 19. The pack is similar to a 100 Bag Pack.
When brewed for extended time however there were no flavours or test, close examination shows there are no batch numbers or expiry date .
Woolworth invouce indicate it is a 80 pack but the packet is similar to 100 bag pack further investigation reveals there is small marking of 80 beside a bag symbols.
Purchased in June 2021 at Woolworth Glenwood NSW 2768 for A$5.50.

MARKETING PLOY
I travelled to Sri Lanka and realised that most of these tea companies blend their teas elsewhere, rather than inhouse. Tea is sold off at auction houses. If you are going to market a 'tea' then it should have a certain percentage of ingredients for the consumer. Twinings has really let me down this time.
Purchased in February 2021 at Woolworths for A$11.00.

Excellent Everyday Tea
I drink this tea everyday at work. After my morning coffee I pop 1 Lemon and Ginger teabag into a litre sized water bottle and fill up with hot water. It's an easy way to stay hydrated in the morning without consuming any extra caffeine. Add a dash of honey when you have a sore throat and it will fix you up in no time!

Always a great flavour
This herbal tea is great when I'm feeling run down. When i have a cold or sore throat this makes me feel a lot better. The taste is really balanced between the lemon and the ginger with a real authentic ginger taste. It's easy to brew and is great in either summer or winter, it doesn't really matter. This is better than some loose leaf teas even!

Not a big tea drinker, nor do i particularly like lemon or ginger. Bought it on special since i have a sore throat and need something to get me through exam study.. Pleasantly surprised! Soothing, delicious and not dehydrating like black tea or coffee. A bug thumbs up Twinings :)
Taste, soothes a sore throat
can't complain about the price, it was $1 reduced to clear

I'm seriously addicted to this.
Calming effects are second to none; perfect mid morning and late arvo pick up. Great replacement for snack; temorarily dulls the urge to snack. Excellent substitute to coffee.

Excellent
I love the flavour of this herbal tea, and it's good for you too. The contrast of sour lemon and sharp ginger remains interesting even after many drinks. The flavour is full and the scent is pleasant. Wait till it's on special or (if you're keen) buy a large box for best value.
My favourite herbal tea. I love the sour lemon tang mixed with the sharp ginger flavour. I never tire of the contrast. It has a strong flavour - not insipid like some other herbal teas, and a lovely scent to wake up to in the morning. It brews reasonably quickly and (if you want to cheat) the same teabag can be used for a second cuppa without compromising too much on flavour.
A bit pricy, but often available on special. Best value are the 80 bag boxes.

Can anyone help me find out if it is caffeine free?

It should have a "Naturally Caffeine Free" stamp / writing on it. The Twinings Lemon and Ginger does have this and is therefore caffeine free

- The 80 content instead of standard 100 should have been displayed with bigger sign for alerting the consumers. Weight mentioned as : Net weight 120g - Checking with house hold weighing device revealed the weight of 120g is for the 80 tea bags with paper tag, hence it is not the net weight - The actual weight per tea bag is less than 1.4g (with paper tag) ; whilst I believe industry standards average weight is 2g to 3g per tea bag
