My cam records 24/7 for some reason, battery lasts 1 day.

Connected Solo+ to WiFi / router but the instructions then say "Create Password", slide the page to read the tips and tap "finish" to start the live view. Tap V to go to the "Devices" menu.
But:
1) there's no prompt for creating password
2) There's no V to got to Devices menu
3) The page doesn't slide anywhere
It seems that a password has already been entered ??? who knows??? HOW DO I RESET THE PASSWORD
I've tried re-installing the app, and resetting the cam but still the same problem.

Due to the current times we have had unknown people in the back veggie patch stealing plants...We got the guardian Xlight and it works like a dream...So we wanted a spotlight cam with a bigger,brighter light and so we got the App Cam Spotlight...It's not the best cam...with the router in the middle of the house we only get FPS 12 and bitrate 178 - 397 kbps in the day and ZERO across the board at night but the Xlight gets 75 - 90 KB/s ..only 3 metres difference between the two cams..Note I can get wifi 20m from the house? Any help would be great....

Dear Uniden A. I have sent an email to said address and have NO reply at all in 2 weeks.....Your customer service is a JOKE.!! I have used uniden products way back in the 80s - 90s when your uniden RD9 was one of the best radar detectors on the road...Hell I even have a uniden 2 way in my truck now!..BUT your wifi cam and customer service is appalling.

My appcamm solo2 wont connect to my wifi? It doesnt offer me a list, just says wifi and password, repeatedly wont connect to the router? Its driving me nuts!

I had to ring them,there are a few steps to go through, and will only connect to one type of wi fi

Have the same problems and had to reset and added the cameras again. I have done this many times in the past and so frustrating but recently it seems to connected to wifi by itself not sure if it’s because of the latest update or the router as we have a few problems with it sometimes.

I don't know, actually, but i doubt it would work on more than just one, due to the log-in requirements which can be confusing.

How to delete recorded footage on the Uniden Solo App?

I would guess that you'd wipe the SD card or just replace it. Unfortunately, I forgot to remove my one before throwing my entire camera in the rubbish bin.

I've recently bought a 4 camera Guardian Solo+. Three of the cameras have connected fine to the wifi but the fourth refuses to connect. Done numerous factory resets, all to no avail. When attempt to connect, the camera will sit with the status led blinking but not going any further. Is this a common issue and a fix already exists?

I believe you can go into the camera settings and increase the PIR sensitivity. Hope that helps.

I have had this system for around 6 months and love it. Problem i have been experiencing since around Christmas is a slower connection speed to all cameras when connecting via App over wifi and mobile. My wifi to internet latency is 21mS and LTE is 30mS with plenty of up and downlink throughput available. Loading video info seems to take forever and is successful 50% of the time. Also notifications now take up to 2 mins to receive after being triggered walking through coverage area. Nothing has changed at my end both on phone and NBN or home WAN. Any tips on what to check on Uniden Solo App? Could it be Android system settings?

Hi my Uniden solo app camera was working fine and then just randomly started recording continuously without any trigger or movement, it continues to record 30 seconds over and over again, so the battery drains after about an hour

Hi, Got a GDVR20440 just after Xmas, installed and working ok.

However, just this afternoon the Guardian 365 App just randomly started sending through App notifications of movement on my iPhone. This was random and no recent updates had been done and motion had been detected by the cameras all day but at about 4pm started sending through App notifications.

I know how to turn off notifications on an iPhone, however how do I set the app just to send me movement notifications from just 1 camera? I don’t need notifications every time my dog walks past a camera out the back! Just the front door camera is fine. I do not & was not getting email alerts, this was an App notification.

As this was driving me a bit nuts, i uninstalled and reinstalled the App and now dont get any notifications at all, but my son who has the app still gets them.
How do i get them to restart on my iPhone?

Any help is appreciated.

Hi Luke. Not too sure on that one but I know that uniden has a help line 1300 366 895. I use uniden two way radios all the time and their support is ok. I have not tried their camera line but you should give them a call. From my understanding of the way the system works you can control each camera individually. I couldn’t get mine working on my iPhone or my wife’s and both are latest iPhones.
