Perfect product for me :)
I wanted a pump that was quick and easy to use. I need to express so I can store some breast milk in the freezer to use when I go for surgery in a few months time.
The unimom forte is easy to use and with time and practice, I am expressing more and more each time.
I love the unimom forte :)

Broken twice, and will throw it off now
Bought on eBay over a year after reading all the good comments on the product reviews. Like the design, it is user friendly and very quite. However, It broken when I used for third times. but the seller was very helpful and change a new one . Later on, I had used couple times and stored it. A week ago, I took it out and found the same problem again.
Updated review,

Excellent pump, great value for money
I have used medela and ameda hospital pumps and feel that the unimom forte is just as good, at a quater of the price. Much easier than the avent electric. Pump is quite, comfortable to use, and effective. Bottle holders /bases are great- reducing the risk of spilt milk. I feel confident returning to work with mu unimom pump- the speed that I can express with this double pump makes life much easier. Closed system is a must.
Price, double pump, comfortable.
Would not be suitable if you had extra large nipples.

Time Saver!
I have just purchased this product after wasting money on a manual breast pump by another company. My money was well spent on the Unimom Forte, Being a new mum does not leave much spare time, which is why i have found this product so great, in 30 minutes I have expressed double what i would've with the manual pumps. This is an excellent product and I reccommend it to others.

Great product and affordable
This breast pump has been a lifesaver. A great product at a fraction of the price of other leading brands. I wake up each morning and pump about 200mLs in about 5 minutes. My son has no problem taking the unimom bottles. I have extra bottles so that I always have some stored in the freezer, very convenient to just defrost in the fridge and feed to my son.
Easy to use and a great price.
Nothing so far!

Awesome!!
For my fist dd I had a cheap hand pump and got so frustrated with how long it took to pump and how little I would get out, so this time around I decided to go with electric after talking to a lot of different pump suppliers at a baby expo the unimom girls convinced me! Not only is it value for money, it's easy to use. The only down side is that it is not really portable but it did come with a hand pump attachment
Easy to use, inexpensive
Not portable

Great
Was previously using a very cheap manual pump and getting very frustrated with how long it took and how inconvenient it was. My husband convinced me this would be a good investment for us as we plan to have more children in quick succession. I'm so glad we bought this pump. It has made the whole process so much easier. It's comfortable, convenient and quick. Very happy with this product
Convenience, reliable, quick

Unimom Forte
Brought after a lot of research online and extremely happy! Fantastic pump, easy to use and very efficient especially when you pump both breasts at the same time. Easy to clean and has the added bonus of being able to change to manual for when traveling or no power point available. A purchase well spent. :)

Good pump!
I was really impressed with the unimom electric pump. I borrowed one of a friend and now I'm considering buying my own!
I used mine for the weekends when dad was home to do late night/early morning feeds, which was great to get some rest in!
It's a great product and I highly recommend it :)

Life saver
I exclusively pump for my baby so needed a pump that was reliable as I would be using it 6-8 times a day. It is hospital grade and I have contacted customer service on a number of occasions and haven't had any issues. When I order things directly via the website such as avent adapters and extra flanges and bags I have received these items within a couple of days.
Cost effective, has bottle adapters and storage bags are the cheapest I have found.
Isn't very portable.

Love this pump!
The Unimom Forte is a brilliant pump. Having twins who were born 6 weeks early, having an efficient and easy-to-use pump was critical for me in the early days. The pump settings are very easy to use, quiet for those late night sessions, and portable enough to travel with.
6 months down the track, this pump is still being used daily, and I would not be without it.
I couldn't recommend it more highly, and is easily the best purchase I've made.
Quiet, efficient, easy-to-use, small, portable, easy to clean.

Amazing Pump
Our Forte pump has been running for nearly 2 months now with no issues. I find it easy to use and quiet, and love that the pump pressure is adjustable. Its easy to clean, and you can use the adaptor to fit Avent bottles and Pigeon wide neck bottles. Ive recommended it to all new mums I know and would say its one of the best baby purchases we have made.
Cheap, reliable, easy to use

Would have given up breastfeeding without it!
My baby was born with a tongue-tie and she wasn't able to latch on properly from the beginning to stimulate my milk to come in. After taking one bottle of formula on day 4, she refused to suck on my breasts. In order to establish my milk supply I needed a hospital grade double pump and got the forte because of the good reviews. I was pumping 7 or 8 times a day and giving my baby just breast milk! My baby has latched on since but without the forte during this critical period in establishing breastfeeding, I would have given up altogether. And eve...Read more
n though I only needed to exclusively pump for 3 weeks, the price I paid for the forte would be about the same as hiring a hospital grade pump for a month. It was definitely worthwhile! Quiet, efficient, increased milk supply, affordable Needed to jiggle the breast shields a little sometime to maintain suctionSimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
Fantastic pump has saved my hands from hours of manual pumping love it :-)
I have been using my Forte pump daily for around 4 mths now and it hasn't missed a beat I am due to go in for hand surgery on both hands in a couple of weeks and this pump has been fantastic to keep my supply up and stock up my fridge with lots of milk for bubba while I am out of action for awhile in hospital it is easy to use and setup has great suction and the teats on the bottles are the only ones my little one like I have tried numerous different bottles but these are the only ones she will drink from 10/10 from me :-)

Awesome breast pump
It is a very good breast pump, served me well. A "breast saver" too, my baby didn't latch properly & I always got sore, crack nipple. It hurts so much. I'm glad that I have bought this breast pump. I have used Medela breast pump in hospital, both medela & unimom did the same job, but medela is expensive hence I decided to give Unimom forte a try. I bought it from internet it come with switch kit which can transform to a manual pump. Anyway I just used the pump for 2 days when the electricity was down.

Absolute lifesaver!
Decided to purchase a unimom after using a medela symphony for a while (hire for $140 per month). I wasnt expecting anything fancy but for the price its been a great little unit! Such great value! The pump action is different to a medela as it doesnt have the let down phase, but i found that i just had to start with the suction setting on low then gradually increase (its very strong).
I do however personally find the medela shields more comfortable so ive just attached those instead, but the unimom ones are fine its just personal preference...Read more
. I initially had a small problem with the pump squeeking but unimom sent me a replacement straight away. It turned out to be just a bolt inside so simple fix. I am a long term full time pumper (up to 8 times a day) and my pump is still going strong 9mths later! Without having this pump i would not have been able to provide ebm for this long. Lifesaver! A great value breast pump, simple, strong suction Had a problem with the pump squeeking not long after i received it.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Good product but bad communicator
Bought this pump after seeing the rave reviews on this website. I must be one of those unlucky few who did not have a good experience right from the start. Requested for urgent delivery as my baby was delivered prematurely and had to spend some time in NICU, hence the need to express. Product took almost 3 weeks to arrive which kinda make my request seemed redundant. Now its back to the company for warranty issues just after 2 months of use! And no word from the company after sending enquiries or calls to find out the status of my unit. Its bee...Read more

I love this pump!
I have tried sooo many pumps, Medela worked best for me in the past.
My Medela died and I had limited funds. I took a chance on the unimom forte and it is so much better than my Medela. I'm so happy! Why didn't I buy this in the beginning.
The suction is fantastic and the motor is almost silent. It works just as well as the $1200 pump I had.
I can't express how much I love this pump! :)
Almost silent with strong suction that is adjustable.

Unimom Electric Breat Pump
The Unimom Electric Breat Pump is fantastic. It is light-weight, easily transportable, quiet and effective in pumping alot of milk.
I bought the Unimom Electric Breat Pump from a Perth baby expo and am so glad I did. I also bought the attachable second pump so that I can pump both breasts at once and it is a huge timesaver.
The pump is easy to set-up, easy to use and most importantly is effective in pumping alot of milk. Not only that but it is so quiet so no load pumping noises to worry about.
I dont know what I would've done without this.

Questions & Answers
DONNA Y.asked
I seem to have an issue with the milk pumping up instead of Into the bottle? It's not everytime and if I change the lid, rubber circle and plastic base it works fine. It's weird though because I'm replacing it in exactly the same position and then the milk goes into the bottle.
I hope this makes sense, just not sure where I'm going wrong?
Thanks

Hi Julie,
The breast shield is made of plastic and should not be hot when pumping.

ort. The majority of second hand pumps that are sold are unhygienic and will put your baby at risk. I would not recommend purchasing one. Here at Unimom, we will always accommodate any warranty claims and as shown in your post - we resolved the issue the first time and would have liked to be given the opportunity to resolve it again for you. At the end of the day though, we do appreciate your feedback and wish you all the best with your breastfeeding journey.
