So so happy - read this before you waste money on expensive one
This pump is affordable, reliable, comfortable, usable, ..... all the "able" you can think of :)
I am so happy I went with my heart and bought it rather than a more expensive hospital grade one I was looking at.
It meets all the demands I have of feeding twins, plus more.
Highly recommend.
Great suction, can express so much milk, affordable
Not portable, but no hospital ones are

great value, easy to clean, good suction, dont pay more
I bought this pump on ebay after using both the philips avent and the medela swing.
This pump is awesome. The suction -although feeling a bit less rough/strong than the medela actually works better, I am expressing both more quickly and more milk (nearly 50% more the first time I used it).
You can get it off an ebay seller for a bit over $100 plus postage. Awesome value for a hospital grade double pump. They also do great breast milk bags.
I can't speak highly enough about the pump. The only downside is that its not portable but none of the hospital grade ones are.
Inexpensive, relatively quiet, very effective.
Not portable.

Fantastic value, great machine
Unimom Forte has been a lifesaver for me. Having major difficulties with breastfeeding at birth my only option was to express. In the hospital I had access to a Medela Symphony, and upon leaving hospital I was given my sister's Cherub Baby single electronic pump. It was so loud it gave me headaches and if I pumped during the night it kept my partner awake in the other room. My milk supply became less and less. I had seen this product online before the birth but couldn't find any decent/local reviews and it was an unknown brand so was skeptical....Read more
When my baby was a couple of weeks old I took a gamble and bought it off eBay for about $130 + p/h. It was fantastic. It immediately increased my milk supply, is much quieter than the cherub baby (I can do it in bed beside my partner and he sleeps soundly), I can do both sides and with some scissors and a firm sports bra I jury-rigged a handsfree system that works. I honestly feel it is comparable to the Symphony - not quite as good but then this isn't a several thousand dollar machine. It doesn't have the initial baby-mimicking suckle to encourage let-down but you can start on a low setting and encourage the let-down yourself to get it going so the flow is more efficient. It's also not quite as strong as the Symphony but again - it's a fraction of the price and all it takes is an extra couple of minutes. Either way it still will get plenty of milk. The breast shield kits are not microwaveable so must be boiled for sterilisation, but the authorised australian seller has additional kits available relatively cheaply, and it may even be possible to get other shield kits from other brands that would still attach to the tubing (I haven't looked into this fully yet). Also the silicon membrane I feel doesn't quite perfectly fit the shield and you have to check to ensure the membrane lip is secure (otherwise it can leak a little and has a bit less suction) but this has only ever been a problem when I'm using the "handsfree" setup - if you're holding it on it's not an issue really. It isn't exactly portable but then it is a hospital grade machine. There is a portable unit available but I cannot comment on that, however I am considering purchasing it. All up - this machine has been great, and definitely tided me over til we got the breastfeeding established a few weeks later. I still use it though, and will definitely be recommending it to anyone I know having a baby, or even buying it as gifts. Incredibly cheap, quiet, double sided, easy to use, efficient. Not portable, suction not quite as strong as the SymphonySimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Essential for the mother who wants to express some milk
It is great because it let's you pump from both sides at once which is proven to increase milk supply. Its suction feels stronger than the medela pump I hired from the ABA. It comes with converters so it can fit onto an avent bottle which is very convenient. I purchased mine from baybeeblue on eBay and it was sooooo cheap and fantastic quality, communication is good and it has 12 months warranty!

Great price. Extra strong. Easy to use. Double pump. Small enough that I can take it to work with me.

I purchased my Unimom double breast pump because I needed to store up milk for my return to work. I've been very impressed with the amount I can express even if I use it after my baby has just fed.
It's comfortable to use with adjustable suction. Once you've found your prefered setting you can just leave it ready for next time. It's easy to set up and easy to clean.
It's too big to carry around in your nappy bag but for home use it's great. Very sturdy and good quality.
I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for a breast pump.

Great value for money
Very happy with pump - much cheaper than many others on the market. I haven't used an electric breast pump before, only a manual one. This makes it much easier on the hands and quicker!
Great value for money, easy to use and assemble, comes with all the parts that you need including adapters to fit Avent brand bottles. Good level of suction when using one side at a time. Has 12 month warranty. Easy to clean.
A bit disappointed with the decreased suction when using the double pump mode, I ended up only doing one side at a time.

Questions & Answers
DONNA Y.asked
I seem to have an issue with the milk pumping up instead of Into the bottle? It's not everytime and if I change the lid, rubber circle and plastic base it works fine. It's weird though because I'm replacing it in exactly the same position and then the milk goes into the bottle.
I hope this makes sense, just not sure where I'm going wrong?
Thanks
Donna

I use my bottle steraliser.
so steam/microwave is ok or do I go with millions/chemical sterilisation?

My unimom shield is hot when pumping. Is that normal cause the medela shield wasn’t?

Eileen O.Unimom
Hi Julie,
The breast shield is made of plastic and should not be hot when pumping.
